Last night when CB was going to sleep she was trying to sing mommas going to buy you a mocking bird. Here's how it came out:
If your diamond ring doesn't work. I will buy you a new one. I will buy you a new one, If your rocking chair doesn't work , I will buy you anew one. I will buy you a new one. At the store.
She is also potty trained and sleeping in a big bed.

Cora Bell has all these ridiculous sayings she must pick up from her brothers, "time to get in the bath" "ANOTHER MINUTE" 'what are you doing?" "NOTHING"
Her favorite thing right now is to play "dinner's ready" or "lunch is ready." and she will set you up with a little tea party. It's so fun. I get it. I can play this! So funny to have a girl. She will also sit and draw "CIRCLES!" for hours. She loves the show "Caillou" and she sings along with the theme song. So funny, at the end the kid says, "I'm caillou, that's me!" and CB sings, "Caillou, Caillou, Caillou, That's me!" it's so freaking cute.
Wiley was momentarily obsessed with earning money for chores. I had to put a cap on his earnings after he got up to $20 in a weekend. He did clean the toilets, littler box, folded and put away clothes, made beds, and babysat. All in hopes of earning more legos!
Archer is learning so much at preschool. He came home the other day and explained how it is we hear and all about his 5 senses. He can count money, tell time, and do quite a bit of math...adding high numbers in his head. smarty pants.

Archer is so excited about being five. He says his taste buds have changed and so he is re trying all the foods he didn't care for. He's also making efforts to be even more helpful to me. He is the most helpful child ever. Always cleaning and cooking withi Em. He loves to play uno and add numbers.
Last night Wiley told me he thought I was an octopus because he asks me to do so many things and I can do them all. I told him that might have been the nicest thing anyone ever said to me. He seemed really disappointed that this was the possibly nicest thing anyone said to me so he says, "I would like to make a comment about you mom. You are beautiful. And when you do your work with kids I think you are one of the people who makes the world a better place." Gah.
Cora Bell has all these super cute sayings these days, like "ya" instead of yes and "I got it" or "I want it." she's so in love with animals and her childcare buddies. One of her favorite things to do is just name things and people. "mommy, wiley, archer (I cannot even recreate how archer comes out, something like chawas) t.v., kitty, ipad." She loves a show on PBS called peg and cat and will insist on holding our new kitty on her lap and then yell at me until i put it on the tv. She loves to tip toe, jump (off anything or just up and down) and do ring around the rosie.

Archers last day of being four! They made a thankful board at school. While most of the other kids were thankful for their parents archer was thankful for the playground.
Last night after all our trials and tribulations lately, Wiley asked to talk about his feelings. He asked me to start. We had just been given a Siamese cat...something the kids had decided was going to be Theor only Xmas request this year and wow, a friend from work found a stray and was looking for a home for it...so I talked about how exciting and lucky I felt. Wiley asked me what was the thing in my life that made me happiest and I said having him, archer and cb. He asked what made me saddest and I said the divorce. He asked me what made me saddest and happiest at the same time and I said I didn't really know. He answered that the divorce probably because it was sad our family had to change but happy because there wasn't fighting anymore. He also said that the thing that made him happiest was having me for his mother. (And cora bell and archer). Yay!
