Best Thanksgiving ever!!

This year had to be one of the best thanksgivings ever!! Not only were we surrounded by family but we spent the morning/afternoon in Cabo SanLucas. And the best part had to be NO COOKING or CLEANING all week!!! To clarify my parents took us on the Disney Cruise! We went to puerto villarta (spelling:S) and Cabo SanLucas. We were able to go with my aunt Susan's family as well!!! It was so much fun and an experience we won't ever forget!

This was so much fun and of course we missed our other family members but, zip lining through the jungle (well for Chris) and Mexican cooking (for me). Snorkeling in the open ocean, all you can eat and sleep was way worth it hahaha!!!! Thanks mom and dad for making it happen!

Our little man

We had our 20 week ultrasound today!! It was so incredible to see our little guy! It's so comforting to have the gospel in our lives and especially now with everything going on with my grandma. It's amazing to have the plan of salvation seem so tangible. I am already so in love with this little guy. He loves to move and kick me all day long!! I can't wait to be a mommy!!

Oh and by the way isn't technology so incredible!!!!!

iPods for sale!!

We are getting rid of these iPods. Since we both have iPhones no need to have them just sitting collecting dust. All 3 are in great condition just a little scratched up but all of them still work very well. The first is a 16GB 2nd generation itouch. The middle is an old school 30GB iPod. And the last is a silver iPod nano 2GB it does not have video on it. Let me know if your interested:)

Feeling Patriotic

I don't know exactly why but I am feeling extremely patriotic today. I spent half the morning crying watching the 9/11 memorial service. I guess that after visiting Ground Zero I understand more of how tragic it was. But also I can't help but think of the miracle that occurred that day. I say miracle because it was only those 2 buildings that were affected! I was only 11 years old when 9/11 happened but I will never forget the way I felt. I am so thankful to those men and women and their families who sacrifice everything to keep us safe and free!!! Heavenly Father was definitely in the details that day!! May we NEVER forget how blessed we are to live in this great nation!!!

Visit to the Empire State

Well as most of you know Chris served his mission in the New York New York South Mission form Sept of 07- Sept of 09. He loved every minute of his mission and was an awesome missionary. Ever since he got home he and one of his companions (Kennedy Speirs) have talked about coming back. In March Jessica (Kennedy's wife) and I finally talked the boys into taking us back:) good thing we did because with our new addition coming I'm afraid it wouldn't have happened. So on August 10th at 11:00pm we boarded the plane to JKF. I have never seen Chris so excited:) on Thursday we met up with a friend of Chris' and he walked our feet off in Manhattan. Friday was the day that we fulfilled a dream on chris' bucket list. We went to a Yankees game at the new Yankee stadium. Unfortunately they lost but it was still amazing!!!! And we got some great pictures of Derek Jeter just in case this baby is a boy;) don't worry we also got pictures of the Brooklyn bridge because we all know it is a girl:) haha. Any way here are the pics!!!

My favorite New York pizza!!! Jk that is for all you office fans

Sorry the pictures aren't amazing the best ones are on the camera and I'm on my phone but I'm so happy we were able to go back. Unfortunately it was a short trip but now we have an excuse to come back:) when I was a kid and we went on vacations that we loved at the end my dad would give us a penny and we would leave it behind so we had something to come back for. We are definitely leaving our pennies!!!!

1st Anniversary!!!

This morning Chris was so amazing. He made me breakfast and let me sleep in. It was so awesome . . . Then I woke up in a tent. We were wet, cold, hungry, and it was only 6:00a.m. Haha! Chris and I had the opportunity to be the youth conference specialists for our ward this year. It just so happened the dates fell over our anniversary. Our youth conference was a blast!! We have some of the best youth in our ward!

At our service project on Thursday.

At the campsite!! It was soooo cold our poor girls froze!

The young men didn't think we had enough wood so they took it upon themselves to go and "push" down a tree. Thank goodness they did because we burned 2 trees in 2 days haha

The young men with half the tree

The other half of the tree.

Our amazing cooks!!

Chris' Armor of God talk

We planned the whole thing around a boot camp theme. These are the packs we gave them.

Our faithful warriors!!!! Love these guys so much. They were all asked to prepare a 5 minute talk on the 13th AoF and all I can say is WOW!!!!

Chris & I. Isn't it funny how 1 year ago was the most glamorous day of my life and this morning I didn't even put make up on:)

I came home to a dozen red roses. Chris is so awesome and he is my best friend. This year gas been hard but it has also been so great!!!
