Polka Dot Orchard - National Coffee Day Blog Hop!

Fabulous FALL creations are

found at Polka Dot Orchard at Etsy.

I adore this sweet mini pumpkin coffee wreath.

I added light green leaves

and dashes of lavender.
A slight minimal spring look to add to the early fall colors!
I Love. Love. LOVE Pumpkin.
So does my husband!
FACT: My wedding cake was cupcakes, including pumpkin, and the bride and groom cake was a mini pumpkin cake!
We just celebrated our 11th year anniversary
August 30th. I have a few
flashback wedding pics below.

Oh, and I made the Cupcake Stand. We had Lemon, Red Velvet, Lavender, Chocolate, and Pumpkin cupcakes!

Cupcakes were from Cupcake Royale our favorite!

Spectember - Crazy for Colour!

Hello Spectember Friends and Fans!

I hope that you are joining

in the prompts, prizes & fun!

Todays prompt is "Crazy for Color !"

This image from Studio Katia and lends itself

PERFECTLY for crazy color!

Since this is a very large stamp image, I start by stamping the image using a stamp placement tool for best coverage. By selecting portions the card by color groupings I color section by section with my chosen colors starting with the darkest colors first, blending in the lightest, and then overall coverage with the mid tones. Fussy cut around the image and trim to fit a 5x5 card base. Affix image to card base. Add embossed sentiment and sequins or embellishments as desired.

Gather these Tri-Blend Colors Together: Purple, Blue Turquoise, Orange, Bright Pink, Red, Citrus, Coral, Jade Green, True Blue

Hydrangea:Color centers of each individual Hydrangea segment with a circle of the Dark Purple. Color half of blooms with lightest purple tone and mid tone of Purple. Color all of the blooms wtth lightest Blue Turquoise, very center darkest Orange.

Red Blooms: Color edges in Dark Red stripes, fill in entire blooms with the lightest Bright Pink tone. Blend in darkest edges with lightest of the Red. Fill entire blooms with darkest Bright Pink. Outline and accentuate all lines with darkest tone of the Hydrangea.

Tulips: Color all areas in darkest tone of Citrus. On all edges and inner lines color with darkest Orange. Cover entire bloom with mid tone Coral. Blend lightest Orange over the darkest Orange into the main Coral until blended. Add darkest Red at very inner edges and blend with mid tone orange until blended. Repeating as necessary until you are satisfied with the blended look.

Mini Flowers: Color little florals with light Citrus and dot with darkest Orange tone and darkest Red tone.

Leaves: Color with Darkest Jade Green in half of leaves or inner body of leaves. Color over enire leaves with lightest Jade tone. Cover and blend Jade colors with lightest Blue Turquoise. Repeating as necessary until you are satisfied with the blended look.

Background: Fill in with darkest tone of True Blue.

Artsystamper Addicts Design Team - Poinsettia Pairs with Kimberly Wiener

I am sharing the amazing illustrated

digital images of

Beverly Cole

Today I am featuring the Poinsettia Pair Digital Stamp and Paper Set.

This set features several digital papers as

well as gorgeous Poinsettia's.

I have selected the gorgeous poinsettia pairs

to showcase on a few cards.

To make this card I started with a white card stock base of 4 x 5.5. I cut a white card stock panel 3.25 x 4.75 and added the sentiment then dry embossed it at an angle away from the sentiment.I lightly sponged on a light shade of blue ink.

Another panel layer was cut using

silver "mirror" card stock 3.5 x 5.

I printed the image 3 x 3.25 as shown

and colored with alcohol markers.

I adhered the layers and attached to the base.

Clear Nuvo drops were added in the centers.

My final step was to add some "bling" confetti sequins.

I wanted to make some clean and simple cards. Using digital images I lined up a butterfly from the Fluttery Garden Set and colored them all the same for a striking note card.

A few more butterflies cut out and placed on an embossed panel with a simple sentiment strip and a few sequins make me happy!

This last card was simply made by printing and cutting out one of the tags in the Springtime Blooms and Coffee Digitals Stamp Set of the Bonus Tags. I added a sentiment and an embossed panel behind the tag.
