For me, having a leadership position bestowed upon me at such a young age was a double edged sword: Much is given and Much is expected. Fortunately I was able to live up to expectations and I truly enjoyed rewards for being different from other students- The lesson of
Perseverance, responsibility and maturity. Having instilled the "Never Say Die" attitude, I led my team to glory at the North Zone WITS competition having failed the last time round. It was a truly rewarding experience for me.

Stepping up as a student leader from Primary to Secondary School wasn't easy, though it could have been harder. Being a student leader in a tougher environment also brings greater
responsibility, more perseverance and courage- In which I believe I have not let anybody down. Being chosen to represent the Prefectorial Board for exchange trips to Jakarta and extra community activities proves my credentials of being
trustworthy, enthusiastic and patient.
I was also given the chance of taking up the position as team spokesperson for my Basketball team. Being outgoing and expressive, I was put in charge of team liaisons with Secondary Schools all around Singapore, arranging friendly matches with them. I also had the responsibility and honor of announcing the results of our team's matches. This has once again taught me the important lesson of
Patience, Responsibility, Personality and Teamwork- The essentials of a Human Resource Department Leader.

To me, waking up on Sundays (for church) isn't a chore but rather, it's a pleasure. I am thrilled to be able to serve as one of the church drummers.
Responsibility and passion plays a big factor as one has to commit extra time for practice and to set up equipment of church service days.
