Perseverance, Hard Work and Faith- These are the three things that I always keep in mind in whatever I do. I strongly believe that success will not be presented on a silver platter but rather, success is earned.

As I will be applying for the post of a Human Resource Department Leader, I do understand the demands of one: Patience, Responsibility, Personality and Teamwork. And I believe that I have met the criteria above.

2002 North Zone Pupils' WITS Competition- 1st Runner Up
2003 North Zone Pupils' WITS Competition- Champion

For me, having a leadership position bestowed upon me at such a young age was a double edged sword: Much is given and Much is expected. Fortunately I was able to live up to expectations and I truly enjoyed rewards for being different from other students- The lesson of Perseverance, responsibility and maturity. Having instilled the "Never Say Die" attitude, I led my team to glory at the North Zone WITS competition having failed the last time round. It was a truly rewarding experience for me.

Secondary School
2004-2005: Trainee Prefect
2005-2006: Assistant Prefect
2006-2007: Prefect

2004-2007: Basketball Team Spokesperson

2006 Converse Schools' Basketball League: 1st Runner Up

Stepping up as a student leader from Primary to Secondary School wasn't easy, though it could have been harder. Being a student leader in a tougher environment also brings greater responsibility, more perseverance and courage- In which I believe I have not let anybody down. Being chosen to represent the Prefectorial Board for exchange trips to Jakarta and extra community activities proves my credentials of being trustworthy, enthusiastic and patient.

I was also given the chance of taking up the position as team spokesperson for my Basketball team. Being outgoing and expressive, I was put in charge of team liaisons with Secondary Schools all around Singapore, arranging friendly matches with them. I also had the responsibility and honor of announcing the results of our team's matches. This has once again taught me the important lesson of Patience, Responsibility, Personality and Teamwork- The essentials of a Human Resource Department Leader.

Anglo Chinese School Barker Road Carnival: The Rodeo Bull Committee (Earned Second Highest Revenue)

Current Activities
Church Drummer for Wesley Methodist Church Worship Band- Philotheos

Wesley Methodist Church Soccer Team- Team Member

To me, waking up on Sundays (for church) isn't a chore but rather, it's a pleasure. I am thrilled to be able to serve as one of the church drummers. Responsibility and passion plays a big factor as one has to commit extra time for practice and to set up equipment of church service days.

As taken from my Secondary school testimonial:

Jason shows a positive attitude towards learning. He is a quick learner who grasps concepts easily and will not hesitate to seek clarification when in doubt. He is also a confident and eloquent speaker and is not afraid to voice out his opinions

Jason was a prefect of the school, During his term, he had proven himself to be a responsible leader who could be relied upon to complete any assigned task. He also carried out his duty with pride. Jason was also dedicated and committed his basketball CCA. Being the team's spokesman, he would always encourage and motivea the team, never allowing setbacks to deter them. He was also a helpful student who willingly nurtured and guided his juniors

Jason is a police student who accords respect to his teachers and peers. He is also a congenial and cheerful pupil who is always ready to volunteer his services for school events. He has played his part in many events under the wing of the Prefectorial board.

Jason has set his goals and is keen to achieve them. With confidence and determination, Jason will continue to uphold his responsibilities in whatever field he may apply himself to,
