26th National Age Group Championships 2008

Date:  9th to 12th December 2007
Venue: Asean Chess Academy, 7500D Beach Road, The Plaza #03-10/14
Time Control:    1.5 hours per player to complete the game for Swiss System of 8 rounds
                       2 hours per player to complete the game only in Open Category (me!)

Yeah. 4 hours per game. (I'm a slow thinker xD)
Seeded 28th out of 50.
Kill or be killed.

Aim: 4.5 out of 8
Not exactly "on-form".

Oh well. I had 3.5/8 at the end, but I drew with 2 FIDE rated players and have a TPR of 1600+. (Performing better than expected).
Qualify for national junior squad and 9th ASEAN c'ships, but not going because of As. Will miss ASEAN friends and playing cards in the hotel room.
But it's too much of a waste of money and time.
Chess competitions are going to be more limited from next year onwards.
