A Walk.

"Don't forget to buy the stuff I told you to!", Mother exclaimed, before heading for bed.

She's a constant reminder of how we ended up in this world. Good or bad, don't think any mother bears to abandon her child after rearing him/her for so long.

It's 2145.

It was supposed to be a meet up of friends. Friends who have known each other for at least half a decade.

However, everyone has their own life to live. Tasks to do, other social groups to connect to.

He has to take a walk, after taking a small oath to run the errand his mother had requested him to.

And he had obliged to it.

Just a walk, to many ordinary people around.

Ten minutes to the mart, ten minutes back home.

Nothing much. Just a simple mundane routine,

Not for this individual.

Endless possibilities of events could happen.

From the thoughts conjured during this seemingly innocent half an hour walk to whoever he might bump to in the journey.

It's not just a stroll, it seems.
