Random pictures - since I haven't taken any new ones for awhile. I'm not sure what Marcella was doing in the chair. I think she has her baby all wrapped up on her lap. We miss having you here with us.
Then I just wanted to remind everyone that Christmas is approaching fast. You only have 31 shopping days left. I didn't count Thanksgiving day and Sundays. But let's not forget Thanksgiving that is coming up. I know that we wont all be together for Thanksgiving but I hope that you all have a wonderful day wherever you may be and that you take a moment of your day to be grateful for all that you are blessed with and count your many blessings that you live where you do and have the freedoms that you have. Life isn't always easy but we all have been blessed with a lot and have a lot to be grateful for. I love you all and hope once again that you all enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted a picture with our Christmas tree in it and this is the only picture that I had with the Christmas tree. Sad I know! I need to do a better job of taking better pictures and more of them.

Okay this is a little weird but I thought I would tell about it anyways. I went in for a colonoscopy on Friday. Thursday was the worst of the test what they call the prep. Drinking stuff to make you go to the bathroom all evening and night and feeling nauseated and not being able to eat all day. They told me that if they found any polyps they would remove them which they did find 3 and removed them. Didn't look cancerous (sp.?) but was sending them to the lab to biopsy or whatever they call it. Came home on Friday and just felt spacey for the rest of the day from the anistetic (sp.?). Then, today I was watching Oprah and Dr. Oz was on and they showed a colonoscopy and them snipping out some polyps and I thought ouch - it bled too - glad I wasn't awake for that when they did it to me. I can't believe that there is no soreness or anything after watching what they did. I was told that I need to repeat this test every 3 years and they will once again remove any other polyps that have grown. On today's show and my dr. both said that if you do have polyps it takes around 10 years for them to turn into cancer if they are going to - I guess some never do. Happy Halloween everyone! hope all that are going trick or treating have fun!

Kanien brought Marcella over on Monday - she stayed until about 6:30 that night and then left Marcella here with us. I didn't take too many pictures but we had a fun time having her with us. She had fun playing with Nikya, going outside, putting my puzzle together, taking a bath with her baby, swinging, reading books with grandpa, playing hide and seek from Jason and me, going to the pumpkin patch and picking out a pumpkin from days farms. Kanien and Jon came back up on Friday to get her. I think that once they got here they couldn't be out of her sight thinking that she might get left. She had fun and enjoyed being with us but I think she did miss her parents a little bit (but only a little). She went over to Grandma and Grandpa Wallins house on Wed. morning and stayed with them until Thursday morning. I went and helped Kanien with some quilts yesterday at the Wallin's home. Jon fixed a wonderful dinner and then Kanien, Marcella and I went shopping. They have a little spot in the mall for kids so I took Marcella in there to play while Kanien looked around. They had a small tv station set up and when Marcella would sit at it she was on the tv - she thought that was pretty cool seeing herself on tv. David and Rosalee came over Friday night and spent the night. David took Jason's friend home and let Jason drive on the way home. We stayed up until midnight talking - never did get around to the game we talked about playing. Saturday David spent the day w ith Jason and I while Rosalee went shopping with her mom and sister and then to the BYU game. David, Jason and I went shopping at walmart - Jason drove - so scarry for me - he drove to the bank on Hillfield and then to Walmart. We dropped Jason off at the school carnival (Vae View) where he was helping at to get some community service hours towork off a U at school. David, Steve, Nathan and Amy went to a halloween party that night at Jake and Quinn Collier's house and they dropped Jason of at his friend Ashley's house since it was in Roy also. We were sitting in church today and a little girl walks down the isle, I lean over to Nathan and say isn't that Marcella - sure enough it was her. They had come to our sacrament meeting. It was kinda funny seeing her when we weren't expecting to see her. Dann had drill the whole weekend. He left Friday around 1:00 and got home today (Sunday around noon). We enjoyed our time with Marcella and love having her here. I enjoyed the rest of the weekend with the rest of the kids and the things that we did. Thanks for coming to visit and spending time with me!

MARCELLA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
We were singing Happy Birthday to her while she was sitting on the chair. The expression on her face was funny while we were singing. She was singing too.
Giving Nathan a hug after opening the present he gave to her.

She got a new baby that can go in the bathtub with her. She sat on Kanien and Jon's bed after she had opened all her presents and everyone was talking and played with her baby. She asked me to open it for her and then she sat there for a good 1/2 hour washing her baby and playing. Lizzy sat or should I say layed on the bed with her too.

This is our old bed that we moved into the empty spare bedroom. The bedspread Dann brought back from Afganistan. It looks lower too because we don't have a bed frame for it so it is just sitting on the floor. I received more comments on the blog entry with no pictures about this bed not going to Jason! I'll have to stir up controversy more often to get comments I guess.
Marcella and Nikya have started to play pretty good together and now they hardly ever see each other. This paticular day they wer getting all the books and going under their to read the books.
The last picture is for Marcella - to let her know that the toys are lonely and are waiting for her to come and play. Nikya is missing you too. She only plays with the lego's lately unless you are here to play with her with the other toys.

We had a nice conference weekend visiting with mom and dad dougal, Terry, Debbie and family, Nanette, Joel (didn't see much of them though) and family, Alex Cheryl and his boys, Nathan, David and Rosalee and Jason. (hopefully I didn't leave anyone out). Kanien and Jon I think for the first time in their married life together spent a whole weekend at home by themselves!(I think) Debbie and I left after the guys went to Priesthood and saw the movie Hairspray. She had not seen it yet and I have seen it 4 times now but will go with anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Monday was a holiday which I didn't realize until Sunday night when Dann mentioned that he didn't need to go to work. It ended up that I didn't have Carson and Nikya even though I was suppose to. I did have a YW's Presidency meeting at 1:00 though. After that was over I called Dann home from looking at trucks, which he did find one and bought it today, we will get it on Friday. We went and looked at beds and ended up buying a temperpedic bed. It was delivered today and is now stinking up the whole house. The lady that sold it to us said that it would have a smell to it for a couple (Ithought she said days, Dann thinks she said weeks) so we will see. Hopefully it doesn't stink us out of our home. So now we have an extra bed in the spare bedroom all set up for anyone who would like to come and visit. Jason is trying to get us to give it to him and move his bed into the spare bedroom (any comments on that)? That sums up our last few days. Conference was really good - if you didn't listen to it you should. Love ya all.

Marcella spent the night at our house and around 9 something it might have been closer to 10 she called mom and dad to say goodnight. Jon said to her - "Marcella are you going to go to bed or watch a movie and have popcorn? " of course Marcella said movie and popcorn so that's what her and grandpa did. She watched for about 20 minutes then she was tired and went to bed.
When great grandma and grandpa Pollard were here she had fun playing with bunny bears toys and they all squeaked. When we took her home she ran into her bedroom and started squeezing her stuffed animals and was excited when the frog made a noise. Grandpa Pollard decided that she needed a squeeky toy so he bought one forher. He left before seeing her again so I gave it to her today. I told her I had a gift from great grandpa and she was excited and when she saw it she squeaked it! It was funny.
I had to go with the Young Women's president to do a visit and this is what I found when I got back. Marcella loves getting rocks and looking at them through the magnifying glass. Dann said that she was up and down and running from one thing to the next and then back up on him and looking at rocks again and getting more swedish fish to eat! Marcella hates beards and she isn't quite sure what to think of Grandpa growing a beard. She will touch it but if he tries to kiss her or tickle her with it she doesn't like it. Nathan is growing one too and she touches his. Someone that has a full grown beard though she is terrified of.

Dann came home on Thursday the 23rd of August. Some of these pictures are of us at the airport waiting for his plane to come in. Jason, Kanien, Jon, Marcella and myself went to the airport. We had balloons and a couple signs. Marcella held the balloons for a picture but let them go. she wasn't sad like we thought she would be but laughed as she watched them fly away. Saturday the whole family was home and we had friends and family over for a get together/bbq. Mom and Dad Dougal came down from Idaho, Terry, Becky, Kaydee and Tanner came over and the Petersens, Wintertons, and Sam James and Paul. It was an enjoyable evening. On Tuesday afternoon we left for the cabin at Island Park. Dann Nathan and I rode up together. Kanien, Jon, Marcella and Jason went up earlier that morning. It was a nice and relaxful trip. We were there from Tuesday until Thursday evening when we left to come home. The guys went fishing, Kanien and I watched and Marcella played in the water. We went to the Big Springs by the cabin to look at the big fish. We went to Yellowstone and drove around Yellowstone and fished some. We ate dinner at Gushers in West Yellowstone. We tried to get some ice cream but it was closed. We got there too late. Jason was dying for their ice cream . We really appreciated being able to go to the cabin with Kanien and Jon. Then, on Friday, we loaded up a truck with all of Kanien/Jon/Marcella's stuff and on Saturday helped them move into their new apartment in Orem. I didn't take my camera with me to take any pictures of that. Our house is empty. We have tons of room and it's back to being just Dann, Jason and I. It will be awfully quiet. Nathan leaves on Monday for Colorado. he will be working with Alex. It's good to have Dann home again.
Relaxing at the cabin!
They are having a contest to see who can keep their feet in the longest. It is really cold water. Jon and Nathan agreed to both take their feet out at the same time because neither one was going to give up and let the other one win.
