little claire has been very evil lately... bitching people behind their backs... looks like she's not that innocent as she looks or claims (?) to be... another proof that looks are really deceiving... like how she looks like she's from a typical chinese educated family when in fact she doesn't know how to speak read or write mandarin...

claire's gonna geddit, claire's gonna geddit...

she's really gonna geddit geddit...

I've finished my poster... wanna see it wanna see it?

Nearer the end

This is what happened during the last power lab for the semester, also the last lab of the semester for some of us, and for the rest of us, our very last lab in uni...

Where's polar bear? Who has a better picture? >.<

Who damn free?

Who damn free to proofread my report?

After watching the Mechanicals do their presentations today, I suddenly felt very... scared of mine... (>.<)'''

*chuu* (hmm... my baby finger look damn fat in this picture)

This is currently my favourite flower in my garden... err... i meant my mom's garden... When it first bloom, it's white in colour, and then it gradually turn into shades of pink ^_^

Well, no post for the past few days because I was slumbering busy typing my report. My target to finish my FYP report by end of week 10... FAILED! LOL! It's already the Friday night of week 10 *sigh* It seems that the more I type my report, the more... ridiculous my report and project seems to be... zzzzZZZzz....

Yesterday... damn funny. A bunch of us were using the giant lift at the end of Building 5 to return to the research lab after tea break at our 'lovable' cafeteria (we were at ground floor, wanting to go to level 5). Lift doors open. All went into lift. As soon as the doors to the lift fully closes, it immediately opens again, apparently with the sign pointing downwards *gasp* There's no basement level at Building 5! This happened for a few rounds, and then all gave up and proceed out of the lift thinking what a hopeless lift it was, except for me and feichai. With me and feichai inside the lift, the doors started closing again. And guess what? The lift started moving up... You suckers... the lift don't like you all laaaarr.... LOL... aih~~ randomness met a bunch of soon to be engineers...

One more last thing, I saw this...

Stuck up

...few days ago at level 2 of Building 5, just outside the twin elevators. It's a styrofoam cup plastered to the ceiling with black masking tapes =.="""" I'm not sure whether its still there today, or not. Was there a camera there? I don't think so. What was it doing there? I have no idea. Why was it there? Perhaps, to represent how stuck-up all the second semester FYP students are feeling now... With 10 weeks of classes straight without breaks and the deadline for the thesis report just around the corner, I'm sure everyone's feeling stressed out, nervous and anxious...

Well... ganbate! p(^o^)q

Kinder joy

This...

... is the latest craze in the children's candy world. (I don't know why the picture came up this way, I have already rotated it nicely but it still turns up vertically...)

*With Surprise* (yea, it expires one day after my birthday next year... *hint hint*)

Inside it...

The taste? Full of nyuminess...

Finish...

The other half of the egg contains all this...

After some engineering time with it... this was formed...

Yes, I was bored. Yes I have no life.

Computers alive!

Below are a series of images on computers around the campus that I've collected so far...

It's alive!!! lol... this picture looks like all the computers in computer lab 9 are haunted ey... Actually, they were all conquered by my fellow comrade in FYP during the holidays to run some simulations.

This can be seen regularly.... because there is an idle time limit, we usually play songs or, in this case, set an application to full screen to prevent our account from logging off while we... err... go hang kai...

Since I always use the computers in the computer lab 9 (because it has the most giant monitor you can get as a 'normal citizen', on campus), I hardly venture into the other 10 or so computer labs. And so, fate had me walked into computer lab 11 one day because the printer at CL9 was down. Lo and behold! The above was inside that lab! Just compare the above picture and this. I felt like laughing when I first saw it *lol* Can't believe this is still around the campus *lol* I thought the worst kind was the ones in our engineering labs (yea, not all of the engineering labs are equipped with high end computers). And what's behind it? This...

Whoa!!!

This is one of the computers in the research lab. Its supposed to be a more powerful one. It runs on Xeon (like I know what's the difference). I love the giant monitors here too ;p

This is another computer in the research lab. One of the 2 most high tech computer on campus, I think. Apparently it has 2 processors in it. It's also a giant monitor, but a 9:16 ratio one. And it's Dell. So, after experiencing giant LCD monitors by HP and Dell, HP won hands down. The above Dell monitor however has 2 USB ports by its' side. When we first saw it we 'oohhhed' and 'aahhhed' at it. Then, when I plugged my PenDrive in it, we 'ooohhhhed' and 'aaahhhhed' even more. How jakuns are we ey... (Actually rite, the word jakun came from where wan?)

Nowadays, the vacancy of computers at the research lab has become rather... rare... So, I present to you, my trusty laptop which I proudly carry to uni everyday...

K... I was looking through the pictures in my handphone when I saw this...

The culprit must be Kelvin!!!

Insomniac

I was feeling overwhelmingly tired at 10 pm, so I went to bed. 3.5 hours later, I'm still awake. So much for the sleep early get up early ey... Since I'm awake at this ungodly hour, let me share with you a lame joke... an engineer's lame joke...

One hour before exam, happily downloading lecture notes, theories, concepts and formulas into brain server at 200kB/s (something which you will never see with Streamyx)

Exam time... double click on file in brain server to view content...

A message pops-up:

'File corrupted'

Hallelujah...

Oh how annoying it is when people's snobbish acts tends to make you even more depressed when you're already having a hard time breathing just to live.

Maybe that's why I never had many people in my life for the last 22 years, cause I never knew how to sweet talk people...

I've got to stop this obsession and addiction before I fall further deeper into it...

Ba de ya

Life has never been more frustrating and depressing than the past 3 weeks. Sometimes I feel like going somewhere else, outside the country, outside Asia, like France, Switzerland, Italy, New Zealand, UK, not US, I don't like US. Ok, maybe not sometimes, but everyday. And after awhile, the world seems just too small to live in...

You guys are going to kill me

Today's Tee Yen's birthday. We ended up at Ole Ole Bali and the followings are what happened there... Credits goes to our very own anonymous photographer.
