You know.... sometimes..... I can't wait to leave this phase of life.... can't wait to leave the current stage of life.... can't wait to leave uni life.... can't wait to move on to the next phase of life..... can't wait to see what life can offer me in the next phase.... can't wait to see what fate prepared for me in the next phase.... can't wait to put everything behind and move on.... just can't wait....

Final sem review

It seems that I didn't do a review on my subjects for the previous semester. Oh well, here's a review on the 3 subjects I'm currently floating in... (I can't swim...). Frankly speaking, I can't remember what's the title of my subjects, I had to go refer to allocate to blog this.

Electrical Energy Systems (core)
A seasonal lecturer (lol) is teaching us this subject. And as the title says it, this is an electrical subject. Though I'm in ECE student, I've not been studying electrical stuff for 2 semester already (or was it 3?). So... my electrical knowledge sort of short circuited already. Time to change the fuse. Anyway, so far, we've been going round and round on converters (again). This time round, I seem to catch things faster (but remembering them is still another topic altogether). This lecturer made things sound so... simple. Hmmm.... On labs though, we still look at the same blardy circuit. Still connecting the same blardy circuit (Or so, it seems to me). Only this time, we don't use those normal tiny resistors, capacitors and inductors, BUT, humongous ones!!! This time round we're finally playing with the REAL stuff *lol.... cough cough* Well, we're actually just using those huge resistor, capacitor and inductor banks, AND we're playing with high voltage this time! (how come I sounded like a small kid). Yes yes, you mechatronics people have done similar subjects years ago (I think). It's kind of weird that only now the ECE students are learning them. Oh one more thing bout the labs. We were auto allocated our group mates. Not that it matters, but being the only girl in the 5-member group kind of rendered me... useless... =.="""""' Thank goodness they split the class up to 2. If not, we were going to have like 7 to 8 people in a group O____O (How many people does it need to fix a capacitor to a resistor?........ 8..... one to plug the clip buaya on, and 7 to watch and observe incase for wrong connection)

Advanced Control (elective)
Yes, this subject is handled by our lovable Professor and head of the ECE department. Once again, the title says it all. Its basically Control Systems part 2. One thing I like about the professor is, I don't have to print my notes or anything! Everything is printed out nicely for us!! ^____^ Saves us lots of printing quota, mind you. And also, he makes things sound very easy and simple. Which is a good thing, or isn't it? :s This time he's controlling the subject entirely by himself! That means no inteference from Aussie (?) This also means that the curriculum for this subject has a slightly new twist from the usual. First, we don't have lab sessions, but instead, is replaced with a 'Reading' session. Yea, apparently we have to read 5 research papers, and write a report by the end of the semester, and that alone carries the whole 30% of the internal marks. Interesting, isn't it? I just got the first paper today. The title's 'Extremum Seeking for Limit Cycle Minimization'. Yup, this goes to show that we just learnt the Limit Cycle today, and I'm suppose to spend 5 hours tonight reading the paper, but here am I typing this...zzzz..... Of course, the pre-req for this subject is Control Systems. This is also means that those who are in their 4th year 1st semester can never take this subject. Oh well, they will have DSP next sem though.

Electrical energy - Generation and Supply (elective)
Another electrical subject. Are they sure we are allowed to take this subject parallel with Electrical Energy Systems? I'm so going to get this 2 electrical subjects mixed up. We are learning on transfomers (not the one that change from cars to robots to whatever) and transformers and transformers. It's a new lecturer. Somehow, he reminds me of my chemistry teacher at SAM O______O""""" Is this good? Is this good? I'm starting to have a bad feeling on this subject actually. But why choose this elective? Cause I have develop a phobia for telecommunication subjects =.=""" and I have taken up every other subject which is not related to communication.

Moments in uni

Below is a compilation of statements and questions I came across this 2 weeks at uni which are quite... random...

"You are a very intelligent student"   =.=""

"Thank you for petting my pet"   @___@"""""""""

"Do you have a twin sister at MMU?"    was caught day dreaming at lecture, hence the target I suppose...

"Can I answer a phone call during tutorial?"   you'll never believe who asked this question...

"...then we can name it the Goh syndrome"   and become famous...

"You got breath but no depth"   north pole...

"You got depth but no breath"   south pole...

"Sure wrong wan..."   yup, it was later confirmed that I was wrong on that particular tute question...

"Your name is /weelsee/... I see I see..."   first class of the semester...

That's all I can think of right now.... jaaa~~

"Empty - The Click Five"

Tried to take a picture
Of love
Didn't think I'd miss her
That much
I want to fill this new frame
But its empty

Tried to write a letter
In ink
Its been getting better
I think
I got a piece of paper
But its empty
Its empty

Maybe we're trying
Trying too hard
Maybe we're torn apart
Maybe the timing
Is beating our hearts
We're empty

And I've even wondered
If we
Should be getting under
These sheets
We could lie in this bed
But its empty
Its empty

Maybe we're trying
Trying too hard
Maybe we're torn apart
Maybe the timing
Is beating our hearts
We're empty

Oh oh
Oh oh
Oooooh
Oh oh
Oh oh

Maybe we're trying
Trying too hard
Maybe we're torn apart
Maybe the timing
Is beating our hearts
We're empty

We're empty
We're empty

The end of a beginning...

And so today is the second day of the 8th and hopefully, my last semester at Monash. The timetable this semester basically sucks to the max. We have 11 weeks straight of study weeks before we are allowed our not-so-mid-punya-mid-sem break *omg* It means I have another 10 weeks to wrap up my thesis *lalalala*

TAAADAAAAA!!!

Dengan mata terbeliak...

*yawn*

eeeeeeeeeeee.......

Hmmm.... I don't have a picture of how I look before I cut it... So you can't compare, but to those who sees me almost everyday, I think this is quite a drastic difference

Hmm... it's been quite sometime since a last picture of me ever came up here, ain't it? Look at the eye bags. It's just getting more and more prominent. And those wrinkles... You know you're old when your pimple scars don't heal as fast as it used to... *sigh*

Myosotis

I think I shall scrap the idea of furthering my studies after getting my degree. I'm just not suited.

Sakura, will you bloom for me and only me?

See my ID picture? The flower nice leh! I saw it blooming by the road side somewhere in Taman Gembira. It was soooo pretty that I got down from the car and took a picture of it XD

It seems to be from the same family as the japanese rose...(?)

. . . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . .

. . .

Err... I don't know what else to say already =.=""

Well, I've been just working diligently on my FYP just like any other fourth year Eng student would... Stayed at computer lab 9 from morning until the IT people came and halau me during closing time. Met with Sue Ann for awhile... she said I looked tanner T__T

Besides that, I've been getting quite a number of people asking me lately, whether if I'm doing a Masters next year. Hmmm... should I? Hmmm... I haven't gone to find what my options are yet; or to whether it is worth it or not... you know... doing masters locally... hmmm...

Other than that, I've lost interest towards everything that I'm working on now. I actually have a very short attention span... I usually do things, anything, very well, in the first half of the period, and then I start to lose interest, and then it goes downhill after that... And this applies to almost everything in every aspect of my life... which basically, makes my life even suckier than it is already is. *sigh... whatever* AND there you go...

And one more last thing, it seems that the aunty that manages to sandwich stall at the cafeteria decided to quit. It's now being operated by another fellow, who tried to sell the same things, but at a suckier quality and at a higher price. Good luck folks in surviving the coming semester... Well... more like wish me good luck in surviving the next semester =.="""""
