I had so much fun yesterday taking pictures of Madelyn, I thought I would share a few of my favorites.

Madelyn
Madelyn is now 1 week old.
She is very well loved by all in our family. If I turn my back on her, someone is either trying to pick her up, kiss her, move her, touch her, talk to her, wake her up, play with her, check her diaper, change her clothes, pick her nose, look at her "belt cord", and the list goes on, and on!
I never believed in love at first sight until I had kids.

Meet Baby M
She has FINALLY arrived! Looks like nobody correctly guessed her birth date. Sorry folks, there was a large cash prize for whomever could guess the exact date.
She weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long and just the sweetest little thing. She had the cord wrapped around her neck twice and also once around her chest. I'm so grateful she arrived safe and sound, even if she was late.
She is definitely already a daddy's girl. She cried whenever any of the nurses held her, they gave her to Michael and immediately she stopped crying. He gave her to me and she started crying. She just stares and stares up at Michael.
The kids approve of her as well. Maya thinks she is the prettiest baby ever born, and was happy to find out that there really was a baby in my tummy, I wasn't just fat.

Petal Envelopes
Aren't these adorable invitations? Click here to download the free template.
I think I might use this template to make envelopes for Baby M's birth announcements.
