bleah

today is a super lousy day and i shall not elaborate why. or i'll sound like some emo kid wallowing in self pity. which is what i am.

anyway, i shall continue with some funny stuff that happened yesterday during geog. cos ms foo wasnt in school, so we had this assignment to take pictures of all the weathered rockes in school. which there are hardly any. and this was how some of our funny discoveries went.

"oh look! this rock looks red! maybe its oxidation!! take picture!" "erm, its a brick."

"These rocks are so round! i think its spheriodal weathering!" "um, these round stones were bought from a store."

"block disintegration! look, the rocks look like they've been split apart." "i think these rocks were placed here in this position..."

"biological weathering!!! see, the roots seem to cut the rocks." "erm, if you havent realised, its soil, not rocks.."

"spheriodal weathering!!!!" "its rounded cos it was built like that!!!"

"spheriodal weathering!!!!!!!!!" "that thing is square lah!!"

haha and seeyoon claimed that this thing was exfoliation when it just looked like the paint was flaking off xD

ridiculous. but it was fun xD then me and chenyin and huijie cam whored when we went back to class.

UFO alert

Today's pe was extremely fun. although it started off being really hot and sad, and we had to run 4 rounds around the track, which is close to torture. so we set off, and me and shuwen and shin huoy and claudiaC ran at a constant speed. then we noticed that dark clouds were approaching and i did a one second rain dance in hope to speed up the clouds. then we saw this aeroplane fly past and we were like 'ooh its an aeroplane!!!' ok that was retarded, but still, you need whatever there is to distract yourself when you are running and know you dont have enough stamina.

then we had warmups. and after warm ups chris threw a handful of track rubber at me and yelled 'confetti!' and i said 'are you trying to con me?' and she said 'no i was trying to fatty (fetti) you.' xD

then we did batting with the t-stands. shin huoy and i were guessing why is it called the t stands, and suggestions were that if you invert it and look at it from the side, it looks like a t. and another idea is that we can kick it so its the ti('kick' in chinese)-stand xD

then the sky turned dark. and we were batting while holding the bats upside down cos it was easier xD and we looked pretty retarded. and then suddenly i looked up and saw two things fluttering down to earth. and i shouted 'is it a bird? is it a plane?' and me and shin huoy shouted 'no its paper!' and then we were all shouting and pointing at it and wondering if it would land in school. then one piece fluttered out of side and the other fluttered all the way across the field, getting nearer every second. and then before it flew over the fences of school, we realise its a piece of newspaper xD then we deduced that the ppl in the aeroplane were reading it and it fell out xD

then suddenly there was thunder and lightning. and then i said my rain dance worked and i did 2 more seconds of it xD then suddenly there was this alarm sounding and maria asked if it was the thunder alarm, and then smrithi said 'no its the lightning alert!!' and haha and then i saw this blinking light at the side of the pe dept building, and then i realise its the lightning alert xD and then i noticed this light coming from a truck outside school and thought it was the lightning alert too xD then we were shouting that the fluttering newspaper set off the alarm and its the ufo alert xD then our relief pe teacher said that we all have to go indoors, and we are released to recess early. hooray xD and then there is this cold storage plastic bag that came fluttering onto the field and it came from the sky.

hence it was a weird day with weird pe and 3 things came fluttering down from the sky.

Happy Birthday Minyee!!

Happy Birthday Minyee!!! You're officially 15 today, which makes you as old as me HAHA xD hope you enjoy your day as much as i enjoyed mine =]

And i want to thank all those who have wished me a happy birthday yesterday in terms of smses, tags on my blog, or wishing me a happy birthday when you saw me selling bubble tea on ora!

when i woke up, i switched on my phone and was immediately bombarded with happy birthday messages. and it made me feel really happy and loved, thank you!! ( and thank you shirlyn, who sent me a message on 18 march and 18 april xDD)

and then i got to ora. and i met simone and sarah at the carpark. and thanks simone for getting up early to bake me the cookies!! they were really yummy. and she gave me balloons too. sadly the balloons all bursted before the end of ora and i cant find them anywhere =/

then we followed the noise in to find the canteen. and then simone and i found the our booth. then we did our sign impromptu and then sat around waiting for the bubble tea to come. and then me and small kelly tried to sell 100 plus since the bubble tea havent come yet. and the box we used started to break and we looked rather pathetic. then sarah found a customer for us and yay we got our first customer and we were jumping up and down in joy xD and then then bubble tea came when all the ppl already come back from the walk a jog. and then marcus and jordan came when i dropped a cup bubble tea in front of the stall. oops sorry xP but anyway thanks for supporting us!

then afterwards was just walking around and persuading ppl to buy bubble tea. and i dropped another cup bubble tea and this time it broke. had to pay for it xD then i just walked and help collect money and stuff. and then lalala and walking here and there. then i saw more TI ppl. and then more of selling bubble tea. then we were so desperately trying to sell we changed from i bubble tea $2, one 100plus $1, to buy two bubble tea get one 100plus free and then one bubble tea and 100plus $2.50 xD

clarissa conned me to buying a muffin from her. and yu qing gave me a rose. i think she was forced to buy one and then gave it to me to get rid of it xD and then iliana gave me a spongebob xD and zann gave me the twisty tangle thing xD jazzy says its cool and wants it for her birthday =D

then the second batch of bubble tea came and some of us went up to get it. and then while waiting me and charlene and gillian played the scissors paper stone split version. it was so fun and the ppl in the cars stared at us xD then the bubble tea came and me and egoh carried it down to the canteen. and guess what now i have muscle ache because of that -.-

and then somewhere in the afternoon rachel came and kidnap me from ashley and dawn and siyan and dragged me to the stage there. and then they were taking so long and goodness knows doing what. then when the song was over they asked the ppl to dedicate the next song to me. it was damn embarassing but really sweet, thanks so much ppl! and then huiqun took out this brownie cake that she and huey fang baked in the morning. THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE EFFORT TO BAKE IT!!! it was really good and im sure it added some fats into me but i really cant care cos it was too good xD and sadly alot of ppl dont dare to eat when they heard huiqun played a part in making it xDDD and huiqun gave me more presents! including a stuffed felt cane cos im lame and needed help walking xD and my favourite m&m pop-able tube! xD and then marcus and whoever whos supposed to share with him gave me a present which i dint open until i was in the mrt. thanks so much the teddy bear is really cute =]

then i saw seri!!! she happened to be in rj so she came down and find me. yayay thanks for coming down =]

and then afterwards was just randoming and trying to sell the 100plus. and the jiayi and eeloon tagged along. then i saw terry and i wanted to laugh. dunno why but i just wanted to laugh when i saw him. and he refused to buy a 100plus from me -.-

then me and ashley and egoh cam whored at the waterfall place. we over split at the steps and asked ppl help us take picture xD and then we went back and everyone took pictures with the signs. then emily and steph finished counting the money and we made $571.10!!! whoooo!!! thank you all who have supported us =]

i think the best present i got yesterday wasnt the cake, the cookies, or the teddy bear, but the good fortune of having friends to celebrate your birthday with and for you to rely on. and like what me and huiqun joked about yesterday, the best present is a good friend. and since i have so many good friends who made me feel loved and appreciated yesterday, it was the best present. thank you all for making my 15th birthday so memorable and wonderful =]

Class DC

haha today we had class DC and it was actually fun if you ignore the fact that it was a total waste of time xD i was writing a whole lot of crap about the wasting of electricity and producing goodness knows how many tonnes of carbon dioxide that will lead to global warming and the rising sea levels and the rising temperatures and acidity of the sea, which will result in the death of corals in multiple ways and the expulsion of the Zooxanthallae thingum which i cant spell, and that since corals are home to more than 25% of all marine fish species, and are the rainforests of the sea, so the death of corals will mean a massive loss of biodiversity and the ppl's livelihood depending on the corals will be affected, and reduced standard of living, and also we lose the chance of discovering more biodiversity that lives in the corals and medication for cancer, HIV and other viral diseases, which corals provide cures for.
ok. enough of ranting. but seriously i wrote that for the DC question 5. about who the consequences will affect. i said every single living organism on earth, cos global warming does affect everyone on earth.
for question 6 about what we can do, i started advocating for earth hour again, although its already long over. anyway, saving electricity and saving the earth does not limit to that one hour in the entire year; you should save electricity whenever and wherever possible. hence, turn off all electrical appliances before exiting the classroom, so we wont have to go for DC again, and it was seriously a waste of pen ink and paper. but i tried to fill up the paper as much as possible in order not to waste it.
for the last question, i was a little bored, so i wrote that we could create a matrix, and then everyone will think that they are back to caveman time, so there will not be electricity. and our dear humourous mrs quah can start teaching us about her cavewoman story about the bigger the rock, the greater the ouch, and thats how you formulate hypotheses.
dayna came into our class twice to talk to qiqi but i think she dint see me although i was directly in front of the teachers table.
i was walking outside school when i saw steph and she said she had class DC too. and her friend wrote about the polar bears not having any place to live when all the icebergs have melted xD
anyway, art comp was yesterday and IEF is tmr!! well done to those who have competed, and jiayou to those competing tmr!! and gym dinner, whoooo!!!

tramp comp!

tramp comp was ok. if we ignore the scores given by the biased judges i think our team did well =] congrats b div got 3rd! and c div, you guys did great too! =]
gym dinner wasnt that fun, cos we all got separated in that tiny mc donalds. and i went home with xinyi. we just started laming and said a fond farewell to everyone. like 'farewell, we shall take our leave' then we curtsey and shuffle out xD and 'take our leaf', get it xD it was super lame and fun. then we went over to island creamery and said a fond farewell to the juniors and seniors eating ice-creams there xD then we walked to the bus stop with ann.
we were saying that ronald mc donalds is such a paedophile, cos he sit there on the bench cross legged with cheekopek eyes and smile and wait for children to sit on his lap.
then we ran across the road because the green man was 'flashing' xD
then our bus came and we abandoned ann at the bus stop. i felt bad and we smsed her jokes to keep her entertained xD
ann made a good joke too, although it was unintentional. she was trying to do some pen twirling trick, and she dropped her pen. so i asked her why did she drop her pen, and she said 'oh i panicked.' and i asked her if it was a joke, and it took her about 5 seconds to realised and said 'OH pen-ick! pretend i said it on purpose so it would make me seem smarter.' LOL xD
and LOVE the new gym jacket!!! its so pretty! and it has my name!! and mrs wee said that mrs hoo was so impressed with our jacket that shes going to get one thats the same design just that it says 'ze boss' or something at the back instead of 'raffles gymnastics flip.fly.soar' and it has her name at the front too! xD
