during the a div comp, ann and i were making the squishies for the sec 4 seniors. and we had to pretend it was comp souveniour when some seniors ask about it. then i took some home to sew the tops.
we went home at 5-6 and paul said that we can pon school on friday!!! so whoots we dunid to go racial harmony day and wear some costume. on thursday ppl kept asking me wad im going to wear on friday as there is a best dressed class competition. i keep remindind ppl im not coming on friday, so they were really jealous:DDD kay yi suggested to the class to wear a cloth and pretend it is some sarong.. and the whole class protested. haha im not surprised. kay yi gives weird ideas that ppl usually dun agree. anyway zheng jia said she is going to wear a ketupat. so on friday i smsed someone during their recess and guess what kay yi wore a qipao and zheng jia wore pinafore.. then zheng jia told me that she cant even make a ketupat, let alone wear one. hahaha..
anyway on wed mel told the sec ones we are supposed to put up a performance for the sec 4 farewell. so simone, amanda, jaclyn, lianne and me decided to meet up after school on friday to plan. then on thursday ann appeared and said the others had enough singers so she is joining us for our performance. and then we said we wanted to do a mad dance, and she cant believe we are doing it for real. haha then i suggest that we can do a finger can-can and do the real standing up can-can. everyone was reluctant but we eventually agreed when time is running up. at first we want to stand in a row, but when i suggest that we can do qian shou guan ying they say we can stand in one line for the can-can too. and guess wad i got sabo-ed and im the one standing at the front of the line. simone and amanda say im tall so i can hide all of them. thne we practised the can-can and lianne and jaclyn wanted to do the finger one. but they cant do it so i told them to go home and practise. then we made up some qian shou guan ying actions. oh ya i forgot ann made up this song for the seniors and we edited it together:

ah hahaha we decided to do the qian shou guan ying actions to the choruses. then we made up actions for the other verses. like for pauline and jess, we wanted to do actions on the scary and spastic. i happen to hav my drama mask with me, and since it is spastic on one side and scary on the other side, we are going to use it. and for joy, we are going to stoop down and shoot up at the ta-lll and taller part. for the kind and sweet part for sher we are going to throw sweets. and thats all we planned on thursday. and then we made the list of props:
-umbrella( for me to dance the can-can with since im at the front)
-mask
-sweets
-black shirt (we are all wearing black for the performance)
-lyrics (ann is going to send to everyone and simone is going to print it out for all of us.)
-colour pens (we are going to decorate the lyrics during comp)
-stickers (to stick the lyrics on our backs since we cant memorise the lyrics and it will look nice when we give it to the seniors)
uh tat should be about it. i and simone are bringing umbrellas in case one of us forgets.
on thursday night ashley called me and i told her about the dance. and she is joining us!! and ASHLEY IS SINGING AND DANCING!!! so cool rite?? and we arranged to meet each other at the steps of the stadium at ten. i reached quite early so i stood there and wait. then when the rest of the group came, we put down our bags and went to practise!! ann had to go to school for some project thingy?? and so she is coming at 6+. then we practised the mad dance. we showed ashley and she start laughing. actually is smiling. or laughing with no sound. anyway we practised at corners of the stadium in front of random doors to the gym sports hall. so everytime someone will walk out or walk in and they will stare at us. anyway after we practised we decorated the lyrics simone printed out. she printed in landscape for me to fold it and hold it as a fan. but eventually i didnt need it cos i memorised the lyrics. we took so long decorating cos we had no inspiration, and lianne and jaclyn disappeared. oh yeah jaclyn managed to master the finger can-can. but lianne didnt practise:( anyway we were decorating and singing the song at the same time, so we more or less memorised it.
then we went to J8 for lunch. we all went to the food court. then we went to ntuc to buy drinks. then there was this thing about buying canned food or dried provisions for some charity thing. so i, amanda, simone, and ashley shared money and bought a bottle of ovaltine powder. or was it horlics?? cant remember. oh yeah amanda said she has a sudden craving for cheese and so we went to the cinema to buy cheese to drink. only amanda bought it anyway. the ppl at the cinema were surprised that she want to buy cheese.
then we went back to the stadium and played hide and seek. we can only run around the stadium, no going out of the place. at first simone and amanda are the catchers. ashley and i found this secret hiding place, and we hid there, and went to other places using that place. so everytime simone or amanda sees us or going to see us we will disappear into that place and pop out from somewhere else. then we decided to go to the other side of the building, so we tried to disguise ourselves among the scgs ppl who were going up the stairs... not exactly good disguise. they wearing black top we wearing white top, they wear light blue bottom we wearing dark blue bottom... but anyway no one spotted us as we ran to the other side of the stadium, and we hid at the place we practised. then we found a staircase at the back and stood there and watch them look for us. they thought we were in the spectator place in the stadium, but actually we were out of the place already. anyway they finally saw us and shout they are there!!! so we made a run for it. but they caught us in the end after a long wild goose chase cos ashley and i keep turning to staircases at various spots, then run up and down.. then we rested for a while before its me and ashley's turn to seek. then we found them immediately when we went to the spectator place. cos i saw simone's head and we had them cornered, so they cant run. then its our turn to hide!! we decided to walk to the snack corner to buy candy, so we strolled there. then we talked to gillian lianne and jaclyn before walking to the spectator place. then we waited there. i was walking around and i spotted another staircase. i was telling ashley about it when we suddenly heard simone's voice shouting we found u. so we conviniently went down the staircase. we appeared at the snack corner again and we ran to the secret hiding place. then they cant find us. we strolled around, and went to the staircase at the sports hall there. and then we were walking around when we saw the sec 2s and 3s practising singing. they suggested that we hide with them. ashley sat with them and covered her face with some lyrics of the songs they were singing, and i lean against mel and covered my face with emily's book. then after a few minutes ashley and i agreed that they gave up so we went to look for them. then we found them and they found us so the game has to restart. then we went into the gym sports hall and tabitha was doing her bars routine!!! so we watch. its super cool, and we were wowing throughout the whole thing. then we continued with our game after watching a few more bar routines. we found out that floor starts at 4pm, so we went to play. we had one more game, and we found amanda and simone behind the drinks machine. ashley saw simone at the back poking out of the drink machine:))) then we had enough of the hide and seek becos we were so tired so we went back to the sports hall. simone and i did homework while ashley and amanda watched the competition. then jess rounded us up and ask us to cheer. hwa chong was cheering really loudly and we are supposed to beat them. we cheered the spirit cheer, and then hwa chong responded immediately. which means the few of us (jess, sher, simone, amanda, me, ashley, lianne, jaclyn, gillian) cheered quite loudly!! and then jess suggested we cheer north south east west. the first part went quite well, but we messed up at the last clapping bit and collapse in laughter. then we hid behind this nan yang banner and laugh like crazy. ppl were staring at us la.kind of embarassing.
after the competition, we went to change. and ann arrived!! we told her about the changes and we waited for the seniors to go off to the gym dinner, then we practised at the corridors of the stadium. ppl were staring at us... suddenly, suddenly suddenly suddenly we saw the seniors!! we stopped suddenly and say isnt that the seniors?? then they waved at us and we screamed and ran and hid behind the wall, then ran out again to take our bags and run to hide again. then we waited until they are gone and we practiced one last time before we realised we are late. we are supposed to be at cafe cartel at 7.00 but then it was 7.00 already. then we faster run to j8 and ann lead us to cafe cartel because she happened to know where it was.. then we got there just in time and took our seats... then we ate:)
we had a great time. i'll give a brief account of wad happened. jaclyn and i started taking videos of claire. cos her responses are super funny. jaclyn havent sent me the video she took yet. she took one ten minute long video and mine was 5 minutes... anyway claire thought we were ridiculous taking video of her EATING BREAD. then she called someone and she was complaining about us taking video of her eating bread, then we started laughing. we tried taking pictures of her not looking...
ann was taking pictures and videos of everything throughout. she got some funny videos of paul and shin and denise. and then we tried taking pictures of the squishies!! here is one shot:
we were trying to take the picture when JESS walked pass.. she started leaning over us and say WAD ARE YOU TWO DOING??? then ann faster threw her jacket over the squishies and say HUH WAD??? but jess already saw it and say HEY THATS CUTE!! and ann said U ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE IT ACTUALLY... then jess laughed and walked away. then ann and i were UH OH.. but anyway only jess saw it so nevermind.
Gillian kept saying Lianne was annorexic. then lianne kept protesting. then gillian tries stuffing food into lianne's mouth:
lianne didnt order anything, so yeah, we all agreed she is anorexic and saboed her. she ate the free flow of bread and some of gillian'd food anyway. then we say gillian is anorexic too when she say she cant finish her food. then they did something disgusting with the food.... they poured it into a glass of water. gillian was eating fish and chips, so.. this is the product:

ingredients: fish, chicken, cabbage, butter, fries, lemon, water, (and other stuff in the fish and chips) super gross. grosser than the gross sauce at mc donalds. they made ppl drink it too!!! and they demonstrate drinking it to prove it is perfectly harmless. but i think i hav a weak stomach after seeing the juice i didnt drink it. mel tried to convince the sec 4 seniors and drank it, saying it isnt disgusting, it is just like vomit, which is from our stomach. that made them even more grossed out.
after that at 9 o'clock paul sudenly shouted 'folks! its 9 o'clock!! 9 o'clock! which means discount for cakes!' or something like that. then when the sec 4 seniors were eating the cakes, mel suddenly came to us who are performing and ask us if we want to go have our last practice. so we stopped fooling around with the gross drink and took our bags and followed mel. we went to the open air space. then we put down our bags and started making the last minute preparations. first we got stickers from amanda to stick the decorated lyrics on our backs. they stuck one dedicated to paul on me. then we got ready the props. we stuffed sweets in our pockets. and i lended ann my drama mask. she decided to hide it in her shirt. haha. then they gave me the fan. but i cant really refer to it and sing and dance at the same time, so i put it in my shirt as well, and if i really needed it i'll whip it out. then suddenly mel came back and told us that the seniors MIRACULOUSLY ta bao their cakes!! so at most we only had 1 min. :O so we faster chiong and try not to make the lyrics fall and simone grabbed her umbrella for me and we tried to hide in some corner of the place. unfortunately the hiding place wasnt very good. we were VERY obious. the rest of the ppl came and they said HEY LOOK THE SEC ONES ARE OVER THERE!!! AND I SEE THEM!!! and yeah we were whispering and last reminders that we must CRAB WALK into the place cos we musnt let them see the lyrics on our backs. and then mel shouted that sec ones and come out so we slowly crab walking cos we cant walk very fast by crab walking. then the seniors were shouting hurry up just walk but we just grin stupidly at them and continue crab walking. then paul shouted THEY HAVE SOMETHING ON THEIR BACKS!!! then we were like SHIT SHIT SHIT... then we continue grinning stupidly and got into the position of the can can. then the seniors were staring at us curiously before we begin. their expression were like: curious->shocked->amused. then they like start wondering what we were doing. then when we went into the position for the song they were even more amused. then we started singing. we changed the chorus part dance into some wave, turn to left first and wave ur arms if u are odd number in the line, turn to right and wave if u are even in the line. the seniors started whooping with laughter when they saw the waving part, and they didnt hear what we were singing. then at the 2nd verse paul heard her name and she said what??? then jess heard her name too and huh??? then we did the chorus again and they bursted out laughing again. then we forgot the words suddenly and yi shan and some others said JIA YOU sec 1s!! and then we continued with the tall part and this time they heard the lyrics clearly and joy started laughing. and stacey laughed at her part cos simone and amanda poped out and wagged their finger. then the other chorus parts the seniors stoppped laughing so they heard. then the sher part with the kind and sweet we flung sweets at them and they shouted OI LIKE THAT ONE AR?? then they started fighting fot mentos. then when the song finished they clapped and we went to the respective ppl that the lyrics on our backs were dedicated to and told them to take it off. i went to pauline and told her to take off the lyrics. then yi shan came and told us to use soft sweets next time becos one mentos hit her knee.. then its time for the sec2s and other sec 3s performance. mel told us to hide a few fireworks stick thingys. i had a box and i dunno where to put it where i can whip it out anytime so i tried hiding it in my shirt but i was sweaty so my skin was sticky so i decided not to. ann told me to stuff it in my pocket and tuck out my shirt to hide the box. but the box was to big and slanted so it poked out and gave the side of my shirt a poped out box look. ann started laughing and i started laughing too then yi shan came over and ask what. we were supposed to hide the fireworks stuff so we said nothing, but she kept trying to look at my popped out shirt so ann slided the box out. then she did something to the box--i dunno wad at first, and the box disappeared and so yi shan didnt see. then ann waited for yi shan to go away before taking out the box. she had slided it out of my pocket and slided it up her shirt.. then she told me to turn around and we hid behind ashley(not a very good hiding place ashley is skinny) then she told me to stuff the box down my culottes and let it hang by the top of my culottes but its kind of poking my butt so i took it out. then i decided the best way is to hide behind my back and look nonchalent. then the sec 2s and 3s were ready and they started singing, and when mel gave the signal we took out the fireworks and gave it out. then we had fun!! whoots:)
oh yeah halve way through the whole thing when the sec 2s and 3s were preparing ann and i wanted to go to play at the playground but them they say there are ppl up there kissing and not to disturb... ann said she saw those ppl but she thought they were doing hw...
uh yeah we had a great night and it was pretty late before we went home.
