i really really really cant wait for 3rd October even if it means an incomplete class.I don't care no more about those people who suddenly decided to postpone the date cause Ive set my mind to have a great time with the girls.

minus October, i have 2 more months till i graduate. WOW. I'm sooo excited but at the same time sad to leave the workplace as i have gained very valuable knowledge, experience and made many good friends. hope 2010 brings lots surprises for me.

Since my fever has not subside and the other family members were busy with their private lives,the kampong trip was cancelled.Therefore i've been laying in bed resting.

Quickie

Ive been given 3 days MC due to fever,sore throat and flu. Don't blame the gas drinks and kuih raya because i didn't have too much.Its the 'sick season' almost everyone in the family has it.My mum,me, cousins.. you name it. But its OK.Looking on the bright side, i get to rest from work.

I just wish i get well on Friday so i can follow the family to Malaysia to visit the relatives.But i guess its a wish that will never come true looking at how bad my condition is now.

3rd October. 5B jalan raya. EXCITED! but I'm not sure if i can make it or not cause my family hasn't completed visiting other relatives in Singapore. =(
i just hope i can make it and meet my ex classmates.

Raya ke3

After 3 days of holiday,i step into office today. I was so tired and very2 lazy to wake up this morning. Its 1.30pm now and my wish since this morning was to get the time moving quickly and come 6pm,i go home. But its OK because, i work for 3 days this week as I'll be heading to Malaysia on Friday to visit my relatives.How nice. I'm so excited and hope by then i get to feel the Hari Raya Spirit.

I'm so tired of eating.Its only been 2 days of raya but for every breakfast,lunch and dinner is ketupat,rendang and lauk raya.Today at work when i went for lunch,Rendang was on the menu. Mampus aku.

But then, i have to be thankful. We have so much food,others have non. Astarfirullah.Forgive me for complaining.

al-kisah hari raya pertama.

Assalamualaikum,so how was your 1st day of hari raya?

Mine was great! since my grandma lives with us, all my aunts,uncle and cousin's will gather at our house.

Every year for hari raya my auntie with 8 children from KL, will come and stay at our house for a few days.It will be fun but slightly leceh because, there are only 2 toilets in the house and it would take hours before i get to bathe. In times like this,i wish our family still lived in a maisonette where there were 3 toilets. lol

But,its no big deal because its not like everyday,i get to wake up to voices of children laughing,running around and crying out for attention of their parents.


Ok,im off to get myself ready and its hari raya visiting for me.

gOO LaGOOn

Tonight will be the last terawih and tomorrow,afer iftar we will hear the takbir.How sad it is to leave this peaceful month.But at the same time excited that Eid is coming.I hope we as a family get to celebrate Eid and also welcome next Ramadhan.

I had my teeth scaled and polished earlier and its sparkling clean now.I'm really happy with the results.The dentist did a really great job and he was really friendly too. Oh! and he wears braces.How ironically cute. Lol

Oh I'm gonna miss the food sold at the bazaar.Gonna borong the food today. So how's your preparations for eid? doing well i hope.

Before i end this post,i would like to take the opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends,selamat hari raya aidilfitri maaf zahir batin. In any event when my words or actions unacceptable, I'm sorry.Hope you have a wonderful Eid and insyallah with the granting of our prayers and the blessings of Allah S.W.T, We get to welcome the next ramadhan.

Shopping at Orchard with Aini and Surati was fun.Its been a long time since we went out together.Bought some accessories ,sat down a while to rest and chat and when it was 6.30pm, we made our way to ayam penyet ria to break our fast. Luckily yati made reservations or else we would have to queue for a while.Both yati and aini had nasi ayam penyet while i had nasi empal(empel?)accompanied by coke and Es chendol.Ya Allah, Minta ampun sedapnya.

7 days to Eid? Masyaallah.How fast time flies. Im so sad to leave ramadan but at the same time happy and excited for Hari Raya.This year,it would be my turn to give alms (green packet) to my siblings and parents. Aww i feel so grown up. Haha. oooh i cant wait for the jalan raya with the ex 5B classmates.Something different to look forward this year as we will not be taking public transport. =)

luar punya pasal.

Im soo excited.Today i loose my iftar out of the house virginity.Lol! in 19 years,today would be the first time i iftar out and with friends.With that said,i shalt end my entry here. I KNOW! why bother blogging when there's nothing to talk about? i actually did have a million things to say,but i forgot. HAHA.

Today is the 17th of Ramadan and if you view the little note on your calendar,it reads,Nuzul Al-Quran.On 17th Ramadan, the 1st vesrses of the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad pbuh.

13 days to go till Eid. How are your preparations so far? Have you done zakat yet?Katam the Quran?Alhamdulillah a few more adjustments and im ready to go.

Both siblings are having their holiday. How i wished i had mine.For the past years, Hari Raya meant HOLIDAY.This year would be the first year im celebrating Hari Raya as a working adult.Its ok.I had my time last year.

Went for jenazah(Funeral Rites) course earlier today.It really left an impact on me.(sesungguhnya ia menginsafkan.)enlightening,remorseful experience.If you have any chance to attend a course or workshop on funeral rites,GO.

Yellow sweater

In need of a new blog skin.I shalt not procrastinate.It was 6.40am this morning when i stepped out of the house,but it was so humid. This calls for severe earth saving measures.. Go Green!!Its not like i have not been doing it but to do more.
TGIF.So how many days has it been? how many days to Eid? 15. Masyallah.

Fasting

Fasting: Its Meaning and Virtues


Fasting generally means "to abstain from something." For example, a verse in the Qur'an reads: “I have vowed to the Merciful to abstain-that is, from speaking.”
What is meant here is abstaining from food, drink, and sexual intercourse from dawn until sunset with the explicit intention of doing so (for the sake of Allah).
The Virtues of Fasting
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as saying: “Allah said: 'Every action of the son of Adam is for him except fasting, for that is solely for Me. I give the reward for it.' The fast is a shield. If one is fasting, he should not use foul language, raise his voice, or behave foolishly. If someone reviles him or fights with him he should say, 'I am fasting,' twice. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the [bad] breath of the one who is fasting is better in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection than the smell of musk. The one who is fasting is happy at two times: when he breaks his fast he is happy with it, and when he meets his Lord he will be happy that he has fasted.” (Related by Ahmad, Muslim, and an-Nasa’i). Al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud, added in another version: "He leaves his food, drink, and desires for My sake. His fasting is for Me... I will give the reward for it, and for every good deed, he will receive ten similar to it."
Sahl ibn Sa`d reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is a gate to Paradise that is called Ar-Rayyan. On the Day of Resurrection it will say: 'Where are those who fasted?' When the last [one] has passed through the gate, it will be locked." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

4am yakult

Slept @ 8pm and woke up @ 4am to have yakult because i had a nightmare and i was afraid that after sahur there will be no more yakult in the fridge.(note the fact that i am not waking up for sahur because its the time of the month and i cant fast) How nice..
Where did the time go to? 19 days to EID and 3 more months till i graduate.
