December days

Yesterday was my dear mum's birthday.
We had a card and Mango Mousse cake for her. She loved both card and cake very much. On Thursday, we will have dinner to commemorate my parents 20th wedding anniversary and mum's belated birthday. Im so excited.
By the way, Happy Birthday Ibu and Happy 20th Abah and Ibu. We love you.

There are no words to express how i feel and to share this joy.Id love to

my story of bandung

Let me tell you about my holiday to Bandung, Indonesia.
On Saturday 12 Dec 2009, My family and i made our way to Bandung via Air Asia.Upon arrival, we were greeted by a husband and wife team who were going to be our 'tour guide' for the next 4 days.We then checked in to the Sheraton Bandung Hotel. After freshing up and unpacking, we headed to a restaurant to have our dinner. I had mie ayam. Something that ive yearned to taste for years. After we headed to the nearest 'Factory outlet'(houses converted to departmental stores which sells mainly clothes) to do some shopping.

The next day Sunday 13 Dec 2009, after breakfast, we made our way to a volcano called 'Tankuban Parahu'.It was very cool but one thing i cant stand is the smell of sulphur.There were many vendors selling all sorts of things from knick knacks, toys, food and hamsters.It was a very interesting and colourful sight.

Third day Monday 14 Dec 2009 was the most fun and memorable day. We went to the animal safari. Its my first trip to a Safari and i was very-very excited. What not? i got to stroke a TIGER!,ride an elephant and feed camels.

On the last day tues 15 Dec, it was shopping galore.

In all, i really enjoyed myself very much. Indonesia is surprisingly clean and the people are very nice and friendly.

With that, i shall end my post here.

Eid ul Adha started off with me going to Fair Price to run some errands. It was a sweltering hot day but alhamdulillah, in the afternoon there was rain.I have some pictures to share on Eid, but since the computer is being so lag, it'll have to wait.

3 things that i worry everyday:
1) If i ever get to enter Jannah;
2)If I'll stay single till death
3)If I'll witness the end of the world.

History of Eid ul adha

Eid- ul- Adha is one of the most important Islamic holiday of the year.Eid-ul-Adha marks the end of Hajj, the sacred pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca. The hajj to Mecca is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation upon male and female adults whose health and means permit it, or, in the words of the Qur'an, upon "those who can make their way there." The history of Eid-ul-Adha can be traced back to the story which states that Abraham was instructed by Allah, in a dream, to raise the foundations of Kaaba,the most sacred shrine in Mecca. Muslims believe that even after undergoing a lot of trials and tribulations on his way to Mecca, God revealed in a dream to Abraham to sacrifice his son Isma’il.Abrahim and Isma’il set off to Mina for the sacrifice. As they went, the devil attempted to lead Abraham astray by disobeying God and not to sacrifice his beloved son. But Abraham remained unfaltered in his decision and true to God, and drove the devil away. As Abraham prepared to kill his son, God stopped him and gave him a sheep to sacrifice instead. Popularly known as the Festival of Sacrifice, this Muslim holiday Eid-ul-Adha commemorates Prophet Abraham’s unselfish act of sacrificing(Qurbani) his own son to the One God, Allah. The festival reminds everyone of the mercy and benefits bestowed upon mankind by Allah.

Muslims commemorate this outstanding act of sacrifice by themselves slaughtering an animal such as a sheep, camel, or a goat. When this is done, 1/3 of the meat goes to the needy people, 1/3 is given to neighbors and friends, and 1/3 stays with your family. People who are away from the holy pilgrimage, Hajj, also carry out this traditional sacrifice. This act also reminds the pilgrim to share worldly goods with those who are less fortunate, and serves as an offer of thanksgiving to God. People visit each other's homes and partake in festive meals with special dishes, beverages, and desserts. Children receive gifts and sweets on this happy occasion.

Eid ul-Adha occurs on the tenth day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijja.But the date of Eid-ul-Adha depends on the visibility of the moon each year.

"Adoi sakit perut!" I have been repeating this phrase since morning.This menstruation cramp is killing me. Sesungguhnya sakit sekali.And i refuse to pop the pink pills because the last time i ate them, it gave me a scare.
Oh! and im craving for chocolates.It happens all the time i get my menses. -____-


In 2 days or 3, it'll be Hari raya Aidiladha.Im soo excited with all the cousins coming over and my mum cooking beef steak, tak sabar rasanya..

3 days of MC is kind of a blessing. I actually get to revise for my exams. Alhamdulillah.

On Monday 30 November and Tuesday 1 December, is my Final Year Examination.Make Dua for me y'all.hehe

Celebrating Yati's birthday yesterday was great. We had lots of fun.
Especially the neoprint part. Fuyooo!sekian lama tak ambil neoprint.(kental pada korang best untuk kita.) Pada sesiapa yang aku terblock muka atau terpijak kaki atau terduduk kat tangan semasa excited untuk pose, SORRY.

The movie 2012 was even better. It was so scary,i had to control myself from crying twice not because it was a sad movie but as Muslims, its compulsory for us to believe in the end of the world and to watch a 'visual interpretation' of the end of the world and the destruction that follow was something unimaginable,unavoidable and made me want to repent.

Food at Sufi was good. Good place, great ambiance,gerek company and affordable price.

At madrasa today, the ustazah told us this quote from the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

"Conduct yourself in this world, as if you are here to stay forever; prepare for eternity as if you have to die tomorrow." (Bukhari).

I love it because it makes us think and realise how short life is.
She also reminded that one does not need to be old or sick to die.

Dear friend

Dear friend, you said, we'll meet up soon.
The question is, how soon? is soon.
I understand that you are busy.
Understand this, I take take leave from work, a very precious leave that i can use for exams just to meet the others.I travel more than 1 hour from the west to east standing in a cramped mrt after 8 hours of work to meet the others.Understand that i don't have any other friends other than those i made from secondary school.

Forgive me for i will never understand how busy a poly student can be, or how tired one can get from intensive training because i skipped school and started work.Forgive me for not understanding you.
But i don't see the problems with the others who find time to spend time.The 2 words i would like to emphasise here is "sacrifice" and "Prioritise". I think we have done our part to do both. Maybe you could consider them? Sometimes i get tired trying to ask you out because the definite answer would be 'no' cause you're busy.But i don't have the heart to not invite you because for every invite, i have hopes that maybe this time there will be no rejection.I don't know how many 'hopes' i have left.


I cant help feeling this way because honestly, your presence is truly missed and i bet the others agree. What happened to yaniattfada? its down to 4 now but slowly turning to 3.

I really miss the fun times we had,i truly do and hope you find time to spend time with us.

Rebonded my hair for the 6Th time.Ooh! my hair is so smooth and manageable.No more tangles and the curly wurly's.


Exams are near and I'm stressed. Study,study, study and its the end of the course for me. =)



Year 2010 is coming. That means i turn a year older which also means;i turn 20. I told my mum that i want to be a better person. I want to start learning how to cook and sew so that when i get married, I'll be able to be a good wife and mother.Its a shame that at 19 i only know how to cook spaghetti,Maggie,fry eggs and bake cakes. My family cant be eating that everyday? not forgetting i don't even know how to sew properly. I cant bring a shirt missing a button to a tailor right?Now, that would be embarrassing.Therefore, the new aim for 2010.

Living with maids doing most of the house chores has made me very pampered thus having limited knowledge on household chores such as cooking, but at least i know how to clean and is very particular about cleanliness as it is essential.(Dirty environment invites disease causing germs and bacteria.)

Some people have no brains. walking home, i saw a man flicker his cigarette butt into the recycling bin.Omg,wished i was the NEA officer and was able to issue him a Fine.hmm maybe i should consider applying for that post. To see the faces of the people i charge fine would be priceless.lol

Remember those mannerism lessons our parents taught us as children?Those please and thank yous,greet and treat those older than you with respect lessons?Sometimes i wonder where have these practices gone to.We try so hard to impress others by displaying our 'perfect' selves that we fail to remember those at home deserve to be treated the same or maybe;better. Honestly, at times i too tend to forget that the person I'm talking to is older than me thus leaving the person struggling to depict the slang i speak. A slang fit for a teenager.Feelings of shame,guilt and awkward fill me when i reflect on my behaviour.

Isn't it embarrassing to have the media reminding us to practice social grace?Personally i think, basic courtesy should be practiced everyday like how we were taught as children if not;naturally.

RESPECT.its essential.


Hope this acts as a reminder cause it surely is for me.

Saturday night fever.

Being breathless due to Asthma on the first day of the week is not a good way to start the day.But watching funny videos via YouTube,is.

How was your weekend? mine was great. I enjoyed my Saturday.The family and i embarked on a journey to Negeri Sembilan, to attend a wedding.Then it was off to Syah Alam, to visit my cousin who has just given birth.She gave birth to a healthy and handsome baby named;Emil Hazriq.He was so cute and didn't cry.I got to carry him and was so nervous my aunt said i was shaking (its my first time carrying a new born baby).So i placed him on my lap while sitting on the chair. Cant wait for the next trip to Malaysia in December and insyallah, i will be able to meet Emil again. Ive yet to meet my other cousin who has given birth,its so fun being an aunt. haha.

Raya Review

Yesterday's jalan raya with the girls and 4 boys was great. Eventhough it was a small group, we had so much fun.. There were so much laughter going on.I really enjoyed myself and wished we could spend more time together.

Taubat

Look at the picture above. To see that everyday would be a blessing. Everyday we read the newspapers publishing stories of earthquakes,floods,tsunamis,war etc. At times we read about people who die in accidents or whilst participating in an activity. Even when we flip through the obituary section, we see not all who die,are old but may be as young as us.

No one knows when we will die or in what situation.Question. What goes through your mind when when you read of such stories? What do you feel? How do you react?
For me, i would be sad and ask forgiveness from Allah S.W.T because i see this disasters as signs for me to repent at the same time make dua for those victims whose lives affected by disasters and whose stories published.

Kiamat is near. These stories are chances and reminders given by Allah S.W.T to repent.
"solat sebelum kamu disolatkan"

Truth is, reality is scary.Repent before its too late.

Quickie

Ive been given 3 days MC due to fever,sore throat and flu. Don't blame the gas drinks and kuih raya because i didn't have too much.Its the 'sick season' almost everyone in the family has it.My mum,me, cousins.. you name it. But its OK.Looking on the bright side, i get to rest from work.

I just wish i get well on Friday so i can follow the family to Malaysia to visit the relatives.But i guess its a wish that will never come true looking at how bad my condition is now.

3rd October. 5B jalan raya. EXCITED! but I'm not sure if i can make it or not cause my family hasn't completed visiting other relatives in Singapore. =(
i just hope i can make it and meet my ex classmates.

After 3 days of holiday,i step into office today. I was so tired and very2 lazy to wake up this morning. Its 1.30pm now and my wish since this morning was to get the time moving quickly and come 6pm,i go home. But its OK because, i work for 3 days this week as I'll be heading to Malaysia on Friday to visit my relatives.How nice. I'm so excited and hope by then i get to feel the Hari Raya Spirit.

I'm so tired of eating.Its only been 2 days of raya but for every breakfast,lunch and dinner is ketupat,rendang and lauk raya.Today at work when i went for lunch,Rendang was on the menu. Mampus aku.

But then, i have to be thankful. We have so much food,others have non. Astarfirullah.Forgive me for complaining.

al-kisah hari raya pertama.

Assalamualaikum,so how was your 1st day of hari raya?

Mine was great! since my grandma lives with us, all my aunts,uncle and cousin's will gather at our house.

Every year for hari raya my auntie with 8 children from KL, will come and stay at our house for a few days.It will be fun but slightly leceh because, there are only 2 toilets in the house and it would take hours before i get to bathe. In times like this,i wish our family still lived in a maisonette where there were 3 toilets. lol

But,its no big deal because its not like everyday,i get to wake up to voices of children laughing,running around and crying out for attention of their parents.


Ok,im off to get myself ready and its hari raya visiting for me.

Tonight will be the last terawih and tomorrow,afer iftar we will hear the takbir.How sad it is to leave this peaceful month.But at the same time excited that Eid is coming.I hope we as a family get to celebrate Eid and also welcome next Ramadhan.

I had my teeth scaled and polished earlier and its sparkling clean now.I'm really happy with the results.The dentist did a really great job and he was really friendly too. Oh! and he wears braces.How ironically cute. Lol

Oh I'm gonna miss the food sold at the bazaar.Gonna borong the food today. So how's your preparations for eid? doing well i hope.

Before i end this post,i would like to take the opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends,selamat hari raya aidilfitri maaf zahir batin. Shopping at Orchard with Aini and Surati was fun.Its been a long time since we went out together.Bought some accessories ,sat down a while to rest and chat and when it was 6.30pm, we made our way to ayam penyet ria to break our fast. Luckily yati made reservations or else we would have to queue for a while.Both yati and aini had nasi ayam penyet while i had nasi empal(empel?)accompanied by coke and Es chendol.Ya Allah, Minta ampun sedapnya.

7 days to Eid? Masyaallah.How fast time flies. Im so sad to leave ramadan but at the same time happy and excited for Hari Raya.This year,it would be my turn to give alms (green packet) to my siblings and parents. Aww i feel so grown up. Haha. oooh i cant wait for the jalan raya with the ex 5B classmates.Something different to look forward this year as we will not be taking public transport. =)

Today is the 17th of Ramadan and if you view the little note on your calendar,it reads,Nuzul Al-Quran.On 17th Ramadan, the 1st vesrses of the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad pbuh.

13 days to go till Eid. How are your preparations so far? Have you done zakat yet?Katam the Quran?Alhamdulillah a few more adjustments and im ready to go.

Both siblings are having their holiday. How i wished i had mine.For the past years, Hari Raya meant HOLIDAY.This year would be the first year im celebrating Hari Raya as a working adult.Its ok.I had my time last year.

Fasting

Fasting: Its Meaning and Virtues


Fasting generally means "to abstain from something." For example, a verse in the Qur'an reads: “I have vowed to the Merciful to abstain-that is, from speaking.”
What is meant here is abstaining from food, drink, and sexual intercourse from dawn until sunset with the explicit intention of doing so (for the sake of Allah).
The Virtues of Fasting
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as saying: “Allah said: 'Every action of the son of Adam is for him except fasting, for that is solely for Me. I give the reward for it.' The fast is a shield. If one is fasting, he should not use foul language, raise his voice, or behave foolishly. If someone reviles him or fights with him he should say, 'I am fasting,' twice. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the [bad] breath of the one who is fasting is better in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection than the smell of musk. The one who is fasting is happy at two times: when he breaks his fast he is happy with it, and when he meets his Lord he will be happy that he has fasted.” (Related by Ahmad, Muslim, and an-Nasa’i). Al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud, added in another version: "He leaves his food, drink, and desires for My sake. His fasting is for Me... I will give the reward for it, and for every good deed, he will receive ten similar to it."
Sahl ibn Sa`d reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is a gate to Paradise that is called Ar-Rayyan. On the Day of Resurrection it will say: 'Where are those who fasted?' When the last [one] has passed through the gate, it will be locked." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

4am yakult

Slept @ 8pm and woke up @ 4am to have yakult because i had a nightmare and i was afraid that after sahur there will be no more yakult in the fridge.(note the fact that i am not waking up for sahur because its the time of the month and i cant fast) How nice..
Where did the time go to? 19 days to EID and 3 more months till i graduate.

bazaar.

Back from bazaar @ geylang.Its obviously never a good idea to go to the bazaar at night and worst on a weekend.But since everyone is free during the weekends, we decided to go there today. Ya allah it was like mecca out there.But nevermind the crowd.. I got my kebaya and met some familiar faces..
Still im quite unsatisfied,one more outfit,tudung and maybe a new bag and im ready to go..

Movie review

Just finish watching Changeling.(Based on a true story)
Now i know why it clinched 3 academy awards.. You have to watch it to understand why. It portrays how powerful a mother's love is and how much they go through for us.Its just sad that the ending was a good one but didn't side the main character.. Judging from the events that happened, we may want good endings to happen to us but not all that we plan will happen. Because, all things happen for a reason as how Allah decides it to be.We can try to picture the ending as the way we want but the truth is,it wont change reality.

This movie just left me thinking.

Next tuesday,besides being teacher's day it is the 1st of September and after that 19 more days to EID. Do we rejoice or regret? Maybe if we have wasted the 7 days that have passed we should consider making full use of the next 23 days.

I have a classmate who spots a tattoo,smokes and curses but fasts in the month of Ramadan.Don't be surprise if she actually attends and performs terawih.Well, they say don't judge a book by its cover.Maybe there are those who wear the hijab,pray all year long but fail to fast in ramadhan.For being a stereotype,we get the last laugh and end up in a corner scratching our heads in embarrassment.

Sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night crying and calling out in whispers for my yai (grandpa).

I remember those days when he would call out my name, and ask me to help him write some things because his eyesight was failing and i grumble a little and reluctantly come to him.
I remember those days when his relatives visited him,yai would tell the same story over and over again.. the story of how i would ask him to carry me when he fetched me after childcare. He remembers the exact words i used to say as a toddler "yai,yai nak kokong nak kokong (dukung)" and he would laugh.

I remember the time we would sit together looking at pictures of him at his younger days with his friends and he would point at his friends and say "kesian dia sekarang dah meninggal"

His favourite shows were "gerak khas" and "forum perdana ehwal islam" and while watching TV he will be accompanied by tea and peanuts.

He was a wise man and generous beyond words.


2 years it has been. i miss my yai,everything about him and most of all his laughter.

Ramadhan is near, happy fasting =)

Alhamdulillah.It was raining really heavily this morning,a blessing if i must say.

The NDP show yesterday was just awesome.KUDOS to all performers For their hard work really made it an enjoyable and entertaining one.I think this year's NDP is just something different and better than previous years.It was more action-packed and unexpected.Did you guys joined in the pledge taking exercise at 8.22pm? I did!

Yesterday's trip to Marina Barrage was just awesome.Great scenery,great food and great company.

On the way home while in the shuttle bus to the MRT Station,there was a group of STUPID IDIOT SHAMELESS youngsters(mats and minahs) who thought they were "cool" enough to rule the bus.They were shouting and talking loudly as if they owned the bus. I was so embarrassed and irritated at the same time.Embarrassed to call myself a malay.There were tourist boarding the bus at the same time, and with the attitude portrayed by these people, It really affected other people's perception of MALAY teens in Singapore. What's worst is,they brought along their younger siblings.Just like the cigarette advertisement,children watch,children imitate(just like monkey see monkey do.) I'm just afraid that their younger siblings will grow up to be the next breed or generation of 'mats'/'minahs'.

As usual,before i hit the sack i will usually close all windows and make sure that the doors are locked.Then i found a Barney plush toy stuck at one of the window grilles.Asking around, non of my family members said it was theirs.

Exercise

For a month i have been having cereal and milk for lunch since i make a habit to have"heavy breakfast" everyday.But with cereals,it invites ants. Therefore, i have switched to 2 slices of fruits accompanied by fruit juice. Also, i remember to drink a bottle of plain water everyday.Ive even cut down on my snacking of tidbits and "kuehs" to plain crackers. My aim? well to lose weight of course! to slim down to 46kg. Oh to add on to the weight lose target,i went to the Gym today and will continue to do so.


Insyallah,by Eid i will be slimmer =)

This took place at Orchard between 6.30pm -10.00pm on friday 24 july 09

The plan was to go shop for shoes for hari raya and the wedding on 25 July 09.But only mum got her shoe because non were appealing to our eyes.

The seafood platter at Fish and Co was sedap.But according to my taste buds,belum sampai tahap giler lagi..
But the Norwegian salmon in Cajun sauce was very delicious cause salmon has always been my favourite and i think it is better than the one at swensens as it doesn't has that fishy taste.. ok enough food review moving on...

Shopping at orchard with the mum and sister was great.Great food,great company and great entertainment.We get to see street performers and the batucada.but im not sure which one.

during our maghrib prayers at Al-falah mosque, i was wearing the abaya and my sister said i looked good in it.Maybe i should start wearing abaya's.. =)

Story of a cookie

For a long time i thougt Famous Amos cookies were the most delicious cookies i ever tasted.Today,i was proven wrong.My supervisor offered me a few pieces of oatmeal and raisin cookies which she bought for $1.80/100gm.After the first bite,i instantly fell in love.It was so delicious it made me crave for more.If i could,i would grab the bag of cookies from her and run away.If i was asmah laili (betul ke spelling ni?) i would say "minta ampun sedapnya". Allah is great.For days i have been craving for oatmeal and today i was granted something similar but better.My sincere apologies Mr Amos. Dont worry i am still a fan of your cookies.

Oh! today is 17 july.. I need to get home fast. Nickelodeon is screening the new episode of spongebob squarepants.

Hari Lahir

Today was well spent.It started with me going to the market to get some food items for the steamboat/bbq.At noon,Surati and Atikah reached my hse to get the decorations done for Aini's birthday surprise. At 2.30pm when Aini reached, we started with the steamboat.Subahanallah,nikmatnye tak terkata. Then it was one episode of Spongebob squarepants before we blindfolded Aini and led her to my room. There, she had to taste a few food items before she was allowed to take her blindfold off. Sang her a birthday song,cut the cake and took lots of pictures.. At 5.30pm we had chocolate fondue which was "sinful".Discussed travel plans in December and it was home sweet home for the 3 girls at 8pm. I really had a great time today.

oh! how splendid.
Fraser hill to me is the ideal place to just relax and set our minds off the hectic life we lead everyday.

When i read the Life newspaper today, i came across an article on Michael Jackson. And they interviewed his good friend who is also the Godfather of his children..

And there was this line that caught my attention.

So what did i do during the weekends? I attended a leadership training camp. It was a good experience.New friends made and lots of valuable knowledge gained.But it is very tiring especially when im used to having my weekends as my "sleeping" day..I really enjoyed the morning walk from Masjid Kampung Siglap to East Coast Park, the activities we had and some of the lectures. But the activity that i enjoyed most was the forum because aside form being a whole new experience,it was the fist time i participated in a Forum(as one of the forum panels).It was all worthwhile even if i had a few grumpy moments complaining to myself due to being tired and the usual "i know i shouldnt have come". But ALLAH S.W.T Knows best.

Two days ago, when i woke up from my nap, i had mima's fur in my mouth.. my mum said mcm hantu raya. =P

Moments ago,a man was spotted peeing on someone's car tyre at the carpark that is facing my kitchen!This is the second time i witnessed public display of live peeing.kalau tak tahan,please do it somewhere far from public eye.. Potong bird baru tau!(this reminds me of a scene from pontianak harum sundal malam)

Living in a ground floor unit opens my eyes to many "interesting" sights. From the woman clad in bra and shorts running from her crazy husband who decided to drop the toddler he was carrying on the floor, to the boy who was chased by my father because he decided to steal our lingerie,national day parade floats and the massive traffic jam that go on till 4am every last day of ramadhan. SERONOK!

My wamima a.k.a titter bought me a slice of cake as a gift for passing my exams. Syukran!

Just like the girl on TV who said "in my world, everyone would want to save the earth" i really like this statement by the way. =D

Holiday to Fraser Hill,Cameron Highlands and KL was great! i had a terrific time. I really enjoyed 4 days of cool fresh air,hustle free and stress free environment. The day spent at KL was great too. I Just wished that time would fly slower so that we could spent more time on holiday.The scenery at Fraser hil and Cameron Highland was simply breathtaking, Especially the tea plantations and the oh so beautiful flowers which ranged in many different colours. In KL,we went to watch a Horror/Comedy movie entitled "jangan padang belakang, congkak" it was hilarious and we were laughing throughout the movie. The photos of my holiday can be viewed at my facebook account. Enjoy!

I'm in a very holiday mood.. very relaxed and not too motivated to do work. ha ha..
I'm really excited for the trip to Malaysia.. and also for the upcoming events in June and July.. Wow! it just struck me that i have around 6 months left till i complete this course..but, I'm gonna miss my workplace... Ive learned a lot,gained experience which is enough to make me a mature responsible adult and most importantly, grown accustomed and attached to the job scope and environment.I don't know how I'll cope when i have to be alone next year.. and the whole cycle will repeat again.. new job,new colleagues, blah blah blah blah blah..... -__-

Life is most unpredictable. But more experience = more knowledge.

Yesterday,i went to school wearing (i dont know if this word is appropriate)
my purple contact lens. And i sure did attract lots of attention. (The contacts i mean. )
Most of my classmates said " lawa sey contact lens kau". kesian aku.. contact lens yang dapat pujian.. =P
Then on the way home,as i was staring across the road,something caught my attention. Only to find out that there was this 'apek ' smiling at me and pouting his lips afterwards. omg so mentel sia..

quick update

Its been a very hectic week at work. Work is piling up and im coming to my 4th month at work. Wow! Time really past fast. Im so glad that its labour day tomorrow. Exams in3 weeks and then its Tioman and KL For me.. WOOHOO! water rafting here i come... Good night, have a great week y'all.

holiday

woohoo! im soo happy that i can do cartwheels. My parents have approved my request to go for a short holiday with my colleagues to Tioman and Kl in June. I cant wait for the water rafting. Ada siapa2 nak ikut? standby at least $400. (oh duit simpananku.. =(
But before enjoying, i have to work hard and study smart for the upcoming exams.

Anyway, have a great weekend =)

So the drama..

Im pretending that im so looking forward to go to work tomorrow.
Im pretending that im happy tomorrow is Monday.
Im pretending that im happy to have to go to and fro work all alone.
Im pretending that im not worried because i am sitting for a test on Tuesday.
Im pretending that i am ok and can accept my parent's absence at home cause they are going to Surabaya for a week.


I am nineteen now and i have to learn to handle this situation. God made it like this so that it will teach me to become an even more independent woman cause this is how life is. And also because, one day when i get married and have a family, i'll have to face this on my own.

because this is reality..

Once upon a trip to KL

Once Upon a trip to Kuala Lumpur..
Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur, we check into Federal Hotel. After performing our prayers, we headed to Times Square.Window Shopped, and bought Auntie Annie's cinnamon flavoured pretzel with caramel dip.After which, we walked around again and settled for sandwich at Subway.It was simply marvellous.




After that, bought twilight,bedtime stories and slumdog millionaire DVD from VIDEOEZY. For dinner we had steak and ribs at The Ship;the best steak in town. It was simply delicious and worth every RM(rinngit malaysia) .

Day two:Since we only had 2 complimentary breakfast vouchers, ibu and i went to have breakfast while my sis and brother had cup noodles.After breakfast, we decided to have a stroll and look for breakfast for the sister and brother.Oh and we bought Anna Sui wallets.Cut story short. it was subway sandwiches for the siblings.

At noon,the 4 of us headed to Suria KLCC to continue our shopping adventures. First Stop was Marks & Spencer and i was reunited with my Almond biscuits and Gingerbread man.



We wanted to go to the the connected tower but unfortunately the tickets for the day was sold out. bummer -_- feeling disappointed and rather hungry, we had our late lunch around 4pm at a Chinese restaurant;Spring Garden for dim sum.The turnip cake was to die for.It was so soft and has that melt-in-the-mouth taste.


After 'lunch' as we were on the escalator on our way down,my sister exclaimed "ibu! ibu! org tu,org tu!" guess who? Dato Siti Nurhaliza? Ziana Zain? Faizal Tahir? Mawi? come on.. keep on guessing... okay a clue. someone famous. name starting with the letter M.
M. Nasir perhaps? Mamat? Misha Omar?.... Guess guess...

To end the day, we had dessert, Gelato.Alamak oi! minta ampun sedapnya.



Day 3: After checking-out, we ate at papa rich for breakfast.
I had Organic Soya Milk,slightly bland but really-really nice.and I ate Ipoh kuay teow noodles whereas the siblings had milo dinasaur and chicken rice.
Finally it was time to bid KL goodbye.Oh how i wish i could go there again and take a ride on the "Eye on Malaysia".

Its true what ____ said about KL being heaven for food lovers.There's no need to worry about "eh halal tK".
