New Zealand South Island autumn holiday - day 9 farm house experience

We had freshly cooked continental breakfast at Pete's main house which included pastries, cereals, spread, home made muffin, yogurt, sausage, bacon, toast and coffee. Fruit juice and milk were provided too. Pete and Gaye sat down and chatted over breakfast with us.
Farm tour started after breakfast.
Pete brought us to visit his sheep shearing house and alpacas farm. It was very interesting especially to people like us coming from city. Children also fed and played with sheep and alpacas. We were brought to their shop on site which sells alpaca wool hand knitted garments like sweaters, beanies, gloves.
Friendly creature, alpaca. I actually find them look weird.
They have a small playground with swing, trampoline and sand play area. It's a great place for children.
Pete's place is usually booked. This place is more about tourism business than farm business, but the overall experience was fun, a true Kiwi farm stay.
We supposed to visit Riccarton Market but the day we checked out was a Easter Sunday, I knew Good Friday and Easter Monday were public holiday but I did not expect most shops including supermarkets like PARK'nSave and Countdown which open on usual Sunday, were close on Easter Sunday. I wanted to cook a decent steak dinner but couldn't even do grocery shopping. We went Botanic Garden instead.
