What's the point?

There's no point to most things we do but there is at the same time? Good things, stupid things, bad things, crazy things, unthinkable things.... so many.... wait for it... things. yes people. my vocab is limited. i know.

As much as its the most cliche of things to say.... everything finds its purpose in God. And when I myself 'indulge' in my own self-generated purpose. it truly just seems.... wait for it... POINT-less. I say indulge because anything that we come up ourselves... most of the time... has got to do with self. there are some exceptions though.

Then again i'm not saying we should all be missionaries or run away from worldly influence but rather think about what we're doing. why we're doing it. who are we doing it for. and where we're going with it.... and to get those answers. there's only one place.

JESUS.

People say there is more to life than having fun etc etc and some might even say there is more to life than Jesus, e.g. having a life. yes. having a life. like maybe go have a drink once in awhile... to indulge?

Hmmm I feel like I'm writing my own mini blog of Ecclesiastes...

But truly Jesus is number one. and when you find that when you put Him FIRST and His kingdom FIRST. It all starts to make sense. life that is. and our purpose here on earth.

We can't find our own life's purpose, we can only find God that REVEALS our life's purpose.

In The Last 15 Days

- I went to Sydney again for the 4th time... just a day trip
- I call Clara: bubs :)
- Trying to die... to self
- Loving my cell boys (ok this might be taken out of context... LIFE GROUP boys.... better?)
- Is listening to Brooke - Waste Another Day - dedicated to Clara :)
- Stars are cool.
- Missing hanging out with high school friends
- Trying to plan a holiday with brother Davo.

In seriousness....

The last 15 days have been very empty; much happening but nothing fulfilling. God is calling. Calling.

Thought of the day: I Want To Die

So He can live.

How many times do we come across this but still live very selfish lives. Self-seeking, glory-seeking and even glory-sharing. God does not share His glory.

I hate it with a passion and I'm crying out for my own sinful life - let me die Lord that you may live.

Sydney Again...

Wow its my third time in Sydney in the first half of the year. Record. Not sure if its a good one. My friends are always complaining i'm up there a whole lot.... but then again. its only been three times since the start of the year :P

Anyhoo. this time was less work and... more meetings :( Well i'm up there for Sam and Anneke's wedding - they had ask me to help out and do some photos for 'just in case the photographer stuff up'. That was the highlight really - the whole day was enjoyable, other than that it was a meeting with Webby and Strongy for some United talk. and of course meeting MY BEST PAL RAJEEV JONATHAN VARATHARAJAN who just returned from the States doing some Fresh Aesthetics tour - meeting hot clients over coffee. ahem ahem. i just have to say his full name. 'Raj' is just not enough sometimes.

Overall this trip was tiring as i was moving from one place to another... Strathfield > City > Hills > City > Cronulla > Strathfield > Melbourne! But fun and definitely one for the books.

And oh, even as Darlene Zschech is still the one (LOL!)... it was a pleasure dining with Mrs Brooke Ligertwood aka Fraser. We talked about food, Katie's wedding (yes), and how she travels to Melbourne only for 'work' - hmm I wonder what she does... anyhoo. It was nice of her to let husband drive me home while she hitched a ride with pal Amanda Gug. Anyway I owe Mike Guglielmucci a meal as i took his seat. haha.

Sam Scores A Sheila

Lamest post title ever. But yes, Sam is officially in a relationship. I still find it very hard to believe!!! For all those who don't know its my dear friend... i mean... girlfriend, Clara.

In the last few days in Sydney I find myself having to restart my sentences. E.g. "My friend studied German... I mean... my girlfriend studied German at school..." I thought Clara deserves her proper title. And yes I always talk about my girlfriend to total strangers. LOL. I think half of the United team have heard of her.
