Lyla at 4 Months

Holy cow! I cannot believe this little lady of mine is 4 months old.  Lyla is one amazing gal.  She is such a good girl.  She is so smile and giggly.  She LOVES attention.  She loves when anyone talks to her.  She has rolled over belly to back and back to belly.  She sleeps all night, usually about 12 hours, give or take a few.  She usually takes a cat nap in the morning and then about a 3 hours nap in the afternoon. She loves to talk.  She still loves her swing, but gets a little more restless in there.  She likes her exersaucer now too.  She has everyone in our family wrapped around her finger.  She fills a place in our hearts that we didn't even know was missing.  We love her!

She had her 4 month appointment today and got 3 shots.  Sad day for her!  She weighs 15.1 pounds (79 percentile) and is 26 inches (96 percentile).  Her head is 16.9 inches (91 percentile).  The boys love going to Lyla's doctor appointments.  They always walk away with some sort of treat, sometimes 2 thanks to Dr. Rogers and his awesome nurse.  

WELCOME TO SUMMER!!!!!!

We made it to the end of the year! I am so happy that summer is here!!!  Karleigh and Grayden have had such great experiences and teachers this year.  Karleigh participated in the Portuguese dual immersion program and has amazed me!  She loves it and has learned an incredible amount.

Grayden has had a great year too.  He has loved his teacher and has learned so much.  He is really starting to pick up on reading and does awesome with math too.  Kindergarten finished a day early, so we celebrated with snow cones yesterday while Karleigh went to a birthday party.

I took 1st day and last day pictures of Karleigh and Grayden and I cannot believe how much they have grown up in the last year.  They both lost so much of their baby looks.  Breaks my heart a little bit.

We decided to party it up to celebrate the start of summer.  We invited lots of friends over and had ourselves a water party.  I think there ended up being 20 kids running around for hours.  It was so much fun!  Then for dinner we went to Chuch-A-Rama.  My kids have a love for all you can eat buffets.  

I am so happy it is summer and for all the memories in store!  

Memorial Weekend

My parents flew in to SLC on Saturday for my cousin Nick's wedding. Then they came back to Logan and we got to spend some time with them.  Abbie and Christian moved to Las Vegas for PT school so my parents came to help them.

We got the chance to visit some loved ones graves on Sunday.  It was really nice!  

A bird pooped on Jackson while we were at the Logan cemetery, so he finished the trip shirtless.  He looked very classy.

On Monday, we had a little BBQ for Abbie and Christian at Katie's house.  Then on Tuesday Abbie and Christian packed up and left on Wednesday.  I am SO SAD that they left.  We have been so very lucky to be so close for the last few years.  I am so happy for them and their fun adventure they are about to have, but they will be so very missed!  Me and Karleigh had a good cry together on Tuesday night after we said goodbye.  We love you Abbie and Christian!  

Funny Kids

My kids make me laugh every day and sometimes they even make me cry!  Karleigh had the stomach flu today.  She threw up like 8 or 9 times.  It was actually pretty sad, BUT she has got to be the loudest barfer in the entire world.  It scared Lyla!  Every time Karleigh barfed, Lyla cried.  This picture was actually from when I sneezed.  She didn't like that either.  Good thing she recovers quickly!  

Then there is Jackson.  He is my WILD.  I thought he was out back playing, so I went to go check on him and he was just lounging around, watching a little TV, eating a hot dog bun, butt naked in my chair.  He got wet outside and did not like that, so he took care of the problem.
