Another Jackson Video

Jackson Video

Phone Dump and Prayers

I am feeling pretty bad about my lack of Karleigh pictures this week.  Now that she is in school all day, most of my pics are of Gray and Jackson.  I need to work on that!!!
This is a picture of our craft we did at family night.  We made pictures for Great Grandma Pickett. We still need to go deliver them.
Every Tuesday we go to the library.  Grayden has story time and then he likes to play the computer and check out books and movies.

Since the kids are going to school in Smithfield, and we live in Logan, we spend A LOT of time in the car driving back and forth between Logan and Smithfield.  Grayden also started speech therapy 3 times a week, so we added another 3 trips.  We spend a lot of time at parks waiting to pick up Karleigh and killing time between Gray's speech class and preschool.  Gray and Jackson love it.
Jackson is still a great baby, but he has started to throw some fits!!!  This is the same age that Karleigh started with her fits, so that makes me just a bit nervous, as Karleigh is probably the most stubborn person I know.  Ha!  He is crying in this picture because I wouldn't let him play with my phone.
Jackson was crying yesterday, and Karleigh and Gray put every single one of his toys in the crib with him.  He didn't even have a place to sit.  It really didn't make him too happy.
Yesterday, while Karleigh was at dance class, we went to another park.  They both had a blast.  Jackson loved crawling around in the tunnels and all over the place.

On a side note, Jackson started folding his little hands when we say prayers at night.  It is the cutest thing ever.  As soon as we kneel down for prayer he comes and sits right next to all of us and folds his hands and he usually laughs a little bit.  It is so stinking cute!!!  It's amazing what he picks up on by himself.  I'm pretty sure he picked up on those lovely fits I talked about earlier from his brother and sister as well!!!

Brigham City Temple, Round 1

I stole these pics from Katie's blog.  These are from our first trip to the Brigham City Temple open house last Wednesday!

I am in love with this picture.  I love little Sophie's face poking out!

Jackson's 9 Month Stats

Jackson is almost 11 months, but I am just getting around to posting about his 9 month checkup.  He weighed in at 20 pounds 15 ounces.  He was 30-1/8 inches.  His head circumference is 19-1/8 inches.  We love him and can't wait to celebrate his first birthday!!!!

OUR HOME!!!

We now have a basement!!!  It's a small, exciting step!  I cannot wait for it to be done!!!!!!  They gave us a date of Dec. 10.  I hope it all works out on schedule.  It would be a great Christmas present for me!!!

Candice's Shower

Yesterday, we had a bridal shower for Candice.  She is getting married in 2 weeks.  I am really happy for her and Joe and it was fun to celebrate!

Brigham City Temple Open House

We had the chance to go to the Brigham City Open House twice this week.  We went on Wednesday with my fam and on Saturday with Brad's fam.  I don't have any pictures from when I went with my fam because I forgot my memory card and my phone.

It's a beautiful temple, just like the rest of them!!!  It was fun to be there with my little family.  We left Jackson at home with Abbie on Saturday because he really struggled when we went the 1st time, and while it was a much more peaceful experience on Saturday, I really missed him there with us!!!

Tri-School-Trot

On Friday, Karleigh's school had a fundraiser where they had 45 minutes to run/walk and they basically had people sponsor them.  It was fun to watch.  Karleigh did good.  After a bit of an adjustment for the first 2 weeks, she is now loving 1st grade.

Grayden and Savannah participated every now and again, mixed with lots of breaks.  These two are so funny.  They are in their own little world.

Dance

Karleigh started dance class on Thursday.  She loved it!!!

Family Walk

Last Sunday, we took a family walk by the Logan River.  It was so nice.  We definitely need to start doing it more before it turns freezing cold.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Jackson is getting to that wonderful age where he is into everything!!!  See below!

I have to say though, Jackson is such a good baby.  He almost never cries and he has such a cute personality.  He is always laughing and waving.  I just love him.  He is starting to be a complete stinker at church.  He has never been a super cuddly baby, so he doesn't really enjoy being held for 3 hours straight.  That, mixed with no nap, can be rough!!  Only 7 more months until nursery.  HA!

Jackson's First Haircut!

This little cutie started to get some crazy hair, so about a week ago we decided to give it a little trim.  Now he is back to looking like his studly self!

Blog Books

I finally got around to printing a couple of my blog books. I did 2008 and 2009.  This is the real reason why I blog.  I love having a great family history and it is so much fun to look back on all of the fun things we did as a family.

Fun Times

We have been having lots of fun the last few weeks. Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.

We went on a nature scavenger hunt, the fun park, lots of lunches, the zoo, and lots of just hanging out!  The nature walk was a lot of fun.  The kids just ran around looking for different nature things.  I came home with a lot of sticks and leaves and all sorts of things I really didn't want.  The fun park was fun too.  There is a big soft play area and then next to it, there is a roller skating rink.  I have never actually seen anyone roller skate on it, but there is music and strobe lights, and the kids ended up playing on it more than the soft play.  They even set up an America's got Talent area where they would judge each other.  The zoo was a bit of a bust.  Karleigh had major attitude to say the least!!!  It is so nice to live so close to my lots of my family.

First Day of Preschool

Grayden started his 2nd year of preschool on September 5, 2012.  He goes to Magical Beginnings preschool and his teacher is Mrs. Lamb.  He was so excited for preschool to start.  He picked out his own outfit and insisted that he wear it.  I just love this kid.

Grayden loves Batman.  It was no surprise that when I asked him what he wants to be when he grows up, he responded with Batman.

He had an awesome first day of school.  He has 9 girls and 4 boys in his class.  I swear this kid is always surrounded by girls!  He goes 3 days a week for 2 hours, and he loves it!  I will love it more when we are in our house and I don't have to drive to Smithfield a baziollion times a day!
This was Gray's homework that he had to bring on the 1st day of school.
