Christmas Decorations!

We decided to put Christmas up a little early this year so we didn't have to worry about it after Thanksgiving, so today was the day!!  The kids got to put up their trees and decorate them all by themselves.

Look at the sweet little present under our tree!!!

Church

Today was Jackson's first day at church.  Me and Jackson only went to sacrament meeting, but he did good!  I thought he looked extra handsome!!!

Random...

Yesterday, I took Jackson to the doctor because his eye has been all goopy.  The doctor gave us some medicine and it should be better in no time.  They weighed him again yesterday and he is up to 10 pounds 4 ounces.  He gained a pound in 1 week and went from about the 65th percentile to the 80th percentile for his weight it 1 week.  He is an eating machine.  He has been eating 5 or 6 ounces at a time, which seems like a lot for a 3 week old baby.  You would think with all of the eating he is doing, he would be sleeping better at night.  Not happening!!!  About a week ago we switched his formula and I don't think it is working out.  The last week he has been up every 2 hours at least at night.  Before this week, he was sleeping about 4 hours at a time at night.   We switched back to the other formula last night, so we will see how he does on it.  I really hope it is just the formula.  I could really use some sleep!!!!!!!!!

Jackson looked so much like Gray when he was born, but I think he starting to look less and less like him.  All I know is, he is cute!!

We went to Jumpin Jacks today.  Karleigh didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday and the rest of the week she had short days, so we needed to get out of the house!!!  Karleigh and Grayden love this place.  They would stay all day if I let them!!

The reason Karleigh didn't have school is because of Parent Teacher Conferences.  Her teacher said that Karleigh is doing great!!!  Mrs. Bigham only had good things to say about Karleigh.  Karleigh is still loving school and she is doing awesome with her reading!!  Way to go Kar!!

Mandi and Jordan's Visit...

This weekend, Mandi and Jordan came to visit us and see the new baby.  Karleigh and Grayden were so excited for them to come and were bouncing off the walls when they got here.  It was fun to get to visit with them all weekend.  I don't think baby Jackson got put down at all this weekend.

On Saturday, Mandi and I went to some garage sales and found some sweet deals!  Then we took a trip to Krumpets, which is always amazing.  The boys watched The Office and football all day.  On Satrurday night, we went to Pizza Factory...
Mandi and Jordan endured many "shows" where the kids had to show them their cool tricks.  We listed to Karleigh sing, "Karleigh and Everett sitting in a carriage, P-I-U-S-N-O-N. First comes marriage, then comes love, then comes the baby in the baby carriage" all day on Saturday.  I love the things she learns at school.  I also love that she thinks marriage comes first and then love!  I guess I should be glad the baby isn't coming first.  Thanks for coming to see us, Mandi and Jordan!  We love you guys!!
I love this last picture.  The kids love to fight and get tickeled by Brad.  They were all laughing so hard while I took this picture.  I love my fam!

Two Weeks Old!!!

Yesterday, Jackson had his 2 week checkup.  He is doing great!  He is 9 pounds 4 ounces, 22.5 inches, and has a 37.75 inch head circumference.  His weight and head circumference are somewhere around the 65th percentile, and his height is at the 98th percentile.  Since his last checkup, he has gained 1 pound, and he has grown 1.5 inches!  I can't believe how fast he is growing.  He is such a good baby.  He still sleeps a lot during the day.  He sleeps 3.5-4 hours at a time during the night.  He hardly makes a peep.  Karleigh and Grayden still love him and fight over who gets to hold him or feed him.   His umbilical cord fell off yesterday at the doctor's office, but we couldn't find it, so we left it there for some one else to find!  This morning, he got to have his first real bath, which he liked much more than the sponge baths he has been having.  He was a little unsure at first, but he ended up liking it.

These last 2 weeks have flown by, but we are loving our baby Jacks!

Random Pictures From The Week...

It was so nice to have my family here last week.  On Thursday, my dad got here, and on Friday night Kevin, Christian, and Steve got here.  I have a bunch of pictures from the week...

Karleigh and Savannah before Gray's soccer game...
Karleigh and Savannah were twins one day.
Sophie holding Grayden.  She was scared of him for most of the week, so this was a big step for her.
Grayden got this fun bug book and hex bug from Sophie and Savannah for his birthday.  He loves them both.
Grayden loves being a big brother.  He is always wanting to hold and feed Jackson, and he is constantly asking me if he is okay.

One night everyone went over to Grandma Dody and Grandpa Norval's house.  Me and Brad stayed home with baby Jackson, but I heard the kids were crazy.

Karleigh loves being a big sister again.  She is always kissing and hugging Jackson and telling me how stinking cute he is.

I felt like the worst mom ever because I didn't take any pictures of Jackson on the day he came home from the hospital, but this is the outfit he wore, just a different day.  The blanket he is laying on is one of the blankets my mom made for him.

One day, my parents took all of the kids to Puss and Boots...Me, Katie, Abbie, Brad, and Jackson went to see Footloose.  I loved it.  I like the original one better, but this one was pretty good.
Jackson didn't make a peep during the movie, and I got to hold him the entire time!

Abbie and I did a little photo shoot with Jackson one night, and this is what he looked like in the middle of it.  I think he felt like most men do when they have to get their pictures taken, but it was completely worth it.  We got some really cute pictures!!!
On Saturday night, we went to Grandma Dody and Grandpa Norval's house for dinner.  The kids got to have a little picnic on the floor.

My family is gone now, and I miss them already.  It was nice to have everyone together, and I am happy they got to meet sweet baby Jackson.  They were all so helpful.  I owe such a big thank you to my mom.  She did so much for us!!!  She took care of the baby at night, cooked, cleaned my house, did a billion loads of laundry, ran my kids where they needed to go...and the list goes on!!! She is a super woman.   Now we are home all alone, as a family of 5!!!  I feel very blessed!!

Gymnastics and Soccer

While my mom and sisters were here, they got to see Karleigh do gymnastics and Gray play soccer.  Karleigh is loving gymnastics.  She is really strong and doing awesome!!
Grayden had his last soccer game on Saturday!   It was really fun to watch him, but I think he was ready for it to be over by the end.  He was really excited when he got to sit out a quarter and he was pretty upset when it was time for him to go back in.  It was REALLY cold, so maybe that is why he didn't enjoy his last game.  He did have the biggest cheering section!

Even baby Jackson came to watch him, all bundled up!

Grayden had a great coach, who is our neighbor.  The coach gave all the kids ninja legos after their game, which made Grayden's day!  We are proud of Grayden!!
