Look How Pretty Mom!!!

While I was in the shower this morning, Karleigh was putting her "muk" on. Muk is her word for make up. I held her up in front of the mirror and she was very pleased with her work. She started smiling and ran her fingers through her hair like a little supermodel. She is a funny girl.

GRAYDEN IS ON THE MOVE!!!

Last night when we got home from vacation Grayden decided to "almost" crawl. It is a mixture between the army scoot and actual crawling. I am sure he will be everywhere in no time at all!

Family Vacation Day 4 and 5...

I was quite the slacker on day 4 and 5. I did not take many pictures. On the fourth day we went to Deadwood. It is an old Cowboy town. It was lots of fun. Then we went back to the hotel and went swimming again. The only way we could get Karleigh out of the pool was to promise her a bubble bath. Grayden was too tired and went right to sleep.
On the fifth day we just drove home. We were sad that it was over but happy that we got to spend so much time with family.
Now we get to look forward to vacation with my family in a few weeks to Bear Lake!!! We can't wait!!

Family Vacation Day 3

Day 3 was filled with more fun. We went to Custard State Park in the morning. We went on some scenic drives where we were supposed to see a lot of wildlife, but all we saw was 1 pack of Buffalo, some donkeys, and another animal that I really cannot remember right now!
After Custard, we went back to Keystone to eat some lunch and look around at some shops. We had the best pizza ever...mmmmmm.....

Karleigh went into the shops and insisted that she have an American Flag. We told her to fly it high, so she walked around Keystone with her flag flying high. She was pretty proud!

This was by far the funnest part of Day 3. We went to Flinstone Park. Everyone said how corny it would be, but I would have paid $100 dollars to see how excited Karleigh was! She loved it...and so did I!! We had a blast.
This is a picture of Amanda and me. She was mad because she wanted to be Wilma.

We went on a little train ride around Bedrock City.

These are the people from Brad's family that went. Everyone else thought they were too cool!! HAHA...little did they know how fun it would be!
We went to a Flinstone show where they sang and danced. Karleigh had so much fun. She was laughing and dancing throughout the entire 7 minute show. Afterwards Fred came to say hello to everyone and Karleigh was completely FREAKED OUT!!! It was funny.

This was Brad's general attitude throughout the Flinstone adventure.
Karleigh was pretty sick of pictures at this point.

After Flinstone Park, we went back to Mt. Rushmore. We went on a little hike. Then, there was a patriotic program at 9 pm. They lit up the faces on the mountains and played a movie about the 4 presidents. It was pretty awesome. I really only got to see about half of it because Karleigh decided to me a stinker. Her and Kelan were jumping around and then Karleigh started rubbing the persons back in front of us. So the remainder of the time at Mt. Rushmore was spent trying to control little Karleigh. After the movie, they had all of the vetrans come up on stage. I am glad I got to see this!

Family Vacation Day 2...

On day 2, we did quite a few things. We went to Keystone and went down the Alpine slide. Karleigh and Grayden both rode up, but only Karleigh was aloud to ride down. She rode down with Brad, and Gray went back down on the chairlift with grandma and grandpa.

We went to a wax museum that had all of the presidents in it. This was the 9/11 exhibit. It was pretty cool.
We also went to a cave. It was really neat, probably my favorite thing. While we were in the cave, Grayden discovered that he can talk. Throughout the entire tour he was going DA DA DA DA DA....It was cute.

By the end of the cave, Grayden had worn himself out with all of the talking.

Grandma has WAY TOO MUCH PATIENCE!!! She let Karleigh walk down every single one of these steps. She is much nicer than me!
That night we went to Mt. Rushmore, but it was short lived because of the weather. The sky turned a bit green and it started raining, lighting and thunder and all. So we had to leave.

Karleigh's First Haircut

The first night we were there, Brad's cousin Amanda gave Karleigh her first haircut. It was much needed. She was getting a pretty good mullet, and we thought we better get rid of it. She cut it all to one length in the back and then got some cute bangs in front. She was such a wiggle worm during the haircut and the only way for her to hold still was if we would tell her to look at Amanda's boogers in her nose. HAHA... It turned out great. Thanks Amanda!

Family Vacation Day 1...

We just got back from our Wheeler Family Vacation to South Dakota. We get to go on a trip with Brad's side of the family every year. Usually his entire family comes including cousins, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. This year we had a few people that couldn't make it, but it was still tons of fun. I love spending time with family.

The first day consisted of A LOT of driving. Karleigh and Gray did pretty good, but not great! We drove to Casper, Wyoming and stayed in a hotel there. We all went swimming at the hotel. Karleigh LOVED it! Grayden liked it a lot more than I thought he would. He learned how to splash and could not get enough of it.

Karleigh played with cousin Kelan soooo good. Everywhere we went, they would hold hands. They were really cute together. Here are a few pictures of day one...

The Big Wedding!

Uncle Rooster, or Bryce, as others know him got married to Ashley on Saturday. We are so excited for them. We love Ashley and I am so excited to have a new sister in law. Everything went great on Saturday. Karleigh was a flower girl, so that was eventful. The pictures are a little bit backwards. They start at the end of the reception and then go the wedding.
Be ready for A LOT of pictures....

Grandpa and Grandma engaged in, what looks to be, a very serious conversation.

Karleigh and Gray were so ready to go home at this point.

Twinners!

The Cake.

Eating the cake. They were very nice to each other.

This is Karleigh after walking down the isle. She stopped at the very end of the white carpet and threw her flowers on the ground. If the flower landed off of the white carpet, she had to stop and put it back where it goes. After the wedding, the bishop that married them mentioned that she is a little OCD.

Karleigh was supposed to stand here during the wedding. No such luck. She wandered right in front of Bryce and Ashley. I had to grab her and take her out because she started screaming.

Karleigh insisted that she be in this picture while the photographer was trying to get pictures of the bride and groom.
