Let's Play Catch Up

Hello blog.  It's been a while.  Life got super crazy last summer and things are finally starting to settle down.  We moved.  Again.  Brad got an awesome opportunity to work for a bank called Rock Canyon Bank.  He got the job offer while we were in California on vacation with Brad's family.  We were actually on the way to Lego Land and when we got the job offer.  When we got the offer we both felt complete peace right away.  I actually started crying because I knew I would be able to quit my job as a medical transcriptionist  and just be a mom for the first time ever.  We took the job and put our house for sale.  It sold within 2 weeks.  Brad started working in Spanish Fork half of the week and from home the rest of the time.  This lasted way too long.  We didn't want to move this kids until we bought a house so we knew which school to send them to.  I really hated being separated.  When we had to be out of our house, we moved into "grandpa's house."  My friend, Julie's, father-in-law recently moved to a rest home and they let us stay in the house until we found a house in Spanish Fork.  After a couple of months of this, we decided to just move to Spanish Fork into a rental unit.  We made offers on multiple houses and something ALWAYS fell through.  It was beyond frustrating!!!!!!  Around the time of the move, we got word that Rock Canyon was opening up a branch in St. George and asked if Brad would like to go.  At first I freaked out and was completely overwhelemed with moving again and sending the kids to another school this year, but my mom calmed me down and made me realize that my kids would be fine, and Brad and I decided to go for it.      We lived in Spanish fork for about 6 weeks.  We came down to St. George, ended up buying the 2nd house we looked at, and everything has worked out so wonderfully.  We really feel like we are where we need to be.  I will post pictures of our new house soon, and I am determined to get this blog updated.  I am not going to post as much but I want to make sure I post about the major stuff in our lives as this and Instagram are the only journals that I have.

We really feel blessed with this new opportunity and are so grateful that nothing worked out in Spanish Fork.  Heavenly Father truly watches out for us.  We miss Logan, but we are really enjoying St. George.  The weather is amazing this time of year, and the kids seem to be adjusting well.

Summer week 3

I couldn't leave this picture out.  On the night of our Pizza Party, Aunt Christina and her sister Kendra came over to roller blade with my kids.  They have sooo much patience!  We loved their little visit.

Summer week 2

Summer is still going great! Packed with lots and lots of fun.  Mille and Karleigh are on the same baseball team.  They are the only 2 gals on the team, but they are having lots of fun.

While Katie was at girl's camp, we got to watch the girls for a day.  Everyone had so much fun.  We love living so close to these cute cousins.
I obviously have no control over Jackson.  I also thought it was funny that they were trying to build a diving board for our little pool.
Jackson so SO TIRED one night that he fell asleep waiting for dinner.
We went to the pool for the first time of the summer with some neighborhood friends.  It was a blast.  I had to bribe Karleigh and Gray to go down the steep slide, but once they did it, they loved it!!
Me and Karleigh went shopping on Saturday for a baptism dress.  It was so much fun.  We went to lunch at Paradise Bakery too.  I love this girl so much!  I can't tell you how much she has grown up in the last year.  She is so pleasant to be around and goes out of her way to make everyone happy in the house.  She is SO MUCH HELP, especially when it comes to Lyla.  She is happy almost all the time, and I am so proud of the beautiful young lady she is growing up to be.  Love you Karleigh girl!

FATHER'S DAY

It was Father's Day on Sunday.  Brad is long overdue for new pictures at his office so we took some new ones for him.
These kids are lucky to have such a hardworking dad.  He does everything he can to make sure his kids are taken care of.  He loves spending time with them and doing things together as a family.  We are lucky!  Love you Brad!

Baseball

Karleigh and Gray are right in the middle of baseball season.  They are doing coaches pitch.  This is Kar's first time playing and Gray's second.  They are having lots of fun.

Summer Week 1

We are loving summer!  We got to go see Kinlee get baptized.  We got a new trampoline since ours blew away.  We have been playing with lots of water in the backyard.  Karleigh got to be a model for Katie's new website.  She pretty much thinks she is famous.  Lyla has been spending lots of time screaming on her stomach because she can't figure out how to roll back on her back.  We have been going to summer movies.  We went to the splash park.  We went over to Katie's and had a little water party with the Neals.  It has been so much fun!  I am so glad the kiddos are out of school.
Jackson sat down right across from a lady at the park and had a full on conversation with her.  She was out of there at the first chance she got.
Jackson is so independent these days.  I hear the words, "No. I do it" about 30 times a day.  If I help him get in the car, he will get out of the car and get in again by himself.  In this picture I am patiently waiting for him to put his shoes on by himself.  It's super fun.
