A whole lot.

Well so much is happening in the world of the Bakes. We are practically out of control. Of course I am also very behind on the posting. So here is a little su-um, su-um I like to call "Bakes in the Kitchen", "Bakes in performance" and "Bakes being Bakes" all with a little holiday twist.

Feast your eyes on this beautiful sushi that my hubs made.Love when he gets a craving for something. This stuff was delish.

Also behold, the Bake family gingerbread house. It was almost a total fiasco after the roof caved in twice and the walls turned out not to be very structurally sound. But alas frosting, creativity and sheer gawdiness prevailed. The end result was nothing short of splendid.

Maxi and all of the 2nd graders put on a show that rivaled anything you could find on or off Broadway. Singing there little selves horse, practically puking Christmas spirit. Bravo kiddos.Millie was particularly caught up in all of it and surprised and delighted the audience with an impromptu dance number.
Took no less than 94 pictures of the kids in their Christmas finery with nary a good picture( bad lighting, wrong time of the day, crappy photographer). They either look stoned, possessed, bored, angry, or down-right disgusted. I managed to get two that didn't freak me out.Okay they freak me out a little.

Amelia tried out some hair, turns out she hates it.Eleanor tried out food, turns out she loves it.
Turns out she also loves Lewis.
Stay tuned for actual Christmas post, man, I am one awesome blogger. Peace.

Going Private

It needs to be done. Weirdness is in the air and I am getting a tad bit nervous about having all of myself out there. I know this blog has turned into a sad excuse for a blog, but if you still want to see us in all of our glory, leave me your email. Either on my blog or email me @tmarnaes@yahoo.com

A day in the life.

Including, but not limited to, conversing with your toes.A debonair stare
Channeling Golem
Wacky, top-hairless girl dance.

Comparison

When Henry first started potty-training I took a picture similar to this one. Two boys in BVDs. Now I have two girls in panties. I love it. They are two years and 2.5 months apart. Love the skinny, long legs and the chubby, short ones, too.

Snow much fun

Well it snowed and snowed and then snowed some more. It was beautiful and peaceful. Henry was dying to play but Max was none-to-keen on getting wet and cold. So Henry geared him up in some serious winter wear and they headed out. Lasted for a good many hours until Max had to come in because he was dying from over-heating.If I haven't said it lately... Loving these ages of these boys. They are smart, helpful, goofy, and downright fun to have around. Delightful.

5 months (over a month ago)

Oh this baby, oh this girl. Easy, sweet, chubby, rosy cheeked, edible thing that she is. Rolling over. Teething. Laughing in a huh-huh sort of way. Follows her sibs every move. Little eating champ. Does life get any better than having her to share my days with? Nope.
