Wait for it....wait....there

What I am about to do may just blow your mind, yep, I am speaking to you. I am going to post a bunch of random summer pictures without labeling any them. Then I am going to consider myself officially done with summer blogging. Then I am going to eat my weight in candy and diet pepsi and dance a little jig(and maybe pass out or go into a coma)all the while screaming "Free at last, free at last....". I know it seems a bit excessive or dangerous but that is what I am all about people. Danger and excess.

(drum roll)

Ta-frickin-da!
Loved the summer and all of its sweaty goodness. Sad to say good-bye. Bring on the fall and the catching up that is sure to ensue! Wa-hoo.

Probably the biggest event of the summer.

My one and only little sister Megan(used to be Moogley, which she HATED) Andrea Selman became Mrs Megan Andrea Smith. MAS to MAS, sweet.
Can I just tell you that it was the most beautiful wedding? Because it was. But you know what the best part of it all is? She married the greatest guy in all of the land, in the House of the Lord for time and all eternity. They were married in the Manti temple and then had a fab little reception in my parents backyard To view the complete story go HERE.
I love this picture of the sibs and me.
P.S. My little brother was the photographer. He is amazing.
P.s.s It was so fun to have Megs in town we had the annual cousins week and partied like it was 1999. Here are some random pics of that craziness. Craziness including floating the Provo river, hosting Meg's bridal shower, jumping off the pier at Payson Lakes in the dead of night, door-bell ditching, American Idol contests on the Wii, laughing until people peed their pants, eating to our hearts content, loving being together and then trying to stop talking with a southern accent after the Arkansans left. I love my cousins and can't wait until next summer when Randy can join us.

You say it's (it was) your birthday?

Let us take a moment to reflect, remember how I said I would catch-up if it is the last thing I do? I wasn't just saying that...I was serious people...serious as a heart attack.
Let's just say there have been a few birthdays around these parts.

On August 8, 2008 Max turned 6. I can't believe he is getting that old. He is really just getting better every year. He is still the lovey face he always was. He loves school and his brother and sister and grandparents.(still has grandma wrapped around his little finger) He is such a good little helper and such a sweet conscientious boy. He still has that strong will that we all admire:) I know it will serve him well one day. His favorite color is blue, he loves chicken enchiladas, stuffed animals, the Wii, WOW, Transformers, the Simpsons and life. He really is a joy. I Love love love him.

Early morning presents opening.

Party with the family with more presents.
Testing out his sweet harmonica from Uncle MattBlowing out the candles, it is getting harder each year to get them all.
D. Bake, love of my life(yes that is his real title) Had his big 36 birthday on September 17 and for another year in a row(I believe in family traditions) I messed up his cake and created a homemade birthday pizza that was sub par. i got for him some sweet tickets to see the Cougs play(#8 in the NCAA) and some other little delights. Can I just say I am so glad I married this man? He truly is my favorite person and best friend. He still makes me laugh harder and more often than anyone in the universe. He is a wonderful father and husband. He makes me and allows me to be the best me I can. I Love., love, love, love him. He is my EC and my BFF and I know Heavenly Father made him just for me and mine. His favorite color is blue. He loves pizza, his Saviour, WOW, his wife, and kids, his family, NPR, BYU, computers and all things Millie.
Then on September 24th my very own father turned 58! Millie and I took him for a ride in the mountains to see all of the beautiful colors then later we rushed to give him his gift before he had to go to bishopric meeting. I have to say my dad is one fab dude. He is constantly amazing me with his love for my children. He gets such a kick out of them. He has gotten better every year since I have known him and continues to be an example and a friend to me. I know of his love for Christ and for his family through his actions and through his words. I love, love, love him. His favorite color is blue. He loves my mom, Diet Pepsi, his grandbabies, puzzles, guns, his yard, his kids, the Gospel, and me(he told me so the other day)

On a side note: I had a birthday on September 8th, the big 3-5. I was blue and down-trodden and weepy and crabby and I also had to work. I am better now.
