Party with the peeps

So this is a stolen picture from another blog spot but it is my very favorite Dental Hygienists in the world. We had a party at my house last night because I am jonesing for all of them. ( you can't go from seeing people everyday to nothing- can't heroine addicts die from just quitting cold turkey?) Not everyone was there Denise has moved to Texas with here sweet Brayden, Talise is single-momming it while Jeff is in WA, Kim is in San Diego, Stef is on her way to some exotic locale, Elisa is prepping for her globe-trotting expeditions, Laurel is MIA, Kenz is getting her fill of Les Miserables, Katie is a newlywed, and the rest of us where hanging out eating treats and catching up. I am so lucky to know such amazing women they have added so much to my life and I consider them all life time friends, plus they are dang sassy and smart. Welcome to the Revolution!

What a blessed blessing!

On June 3rd we blessed our sweet Millie Mae. David gave her a wonderful blessing( he almost didn't get through it cause he was a little weepy) Then we had a shin-dig after. It was such a nice day. I loved seeing all of our friends and family together ( minus a few major ones) We are so blessed that our Father in Heaven sent us such a perfect little girl. "Gosh darn it, we got us a family here" Thanks to all of you that came and shared this beautiful day with us. P.S. Millie wore the same dress I was blessed in.

Shout out to the best Gram ever!

When Henry was born I really thought that my mom was amazing and that he was the luckiest baby in the world to have Elva D. for his grandma. She showered him with clothes and toys and most importantly, adoration and love. Then when Maxie came along we were living at her house and so we got to see her in action on a day-to-day basis. She was practically their mother a lot of the time and she did an amazing job. Now that little Amelia Mae has graced us with her presence Elva has proven once again that Henry, Max and Amelia couldn't get any luckier! ( Even though she finds it necessary to put flower bows on her that are twice the size of her head) Elva is the greatest and we love her with a bloody passion!

Big brothers are the best

So there is nothing like a big brother. I found all of the boys old baby toys and while their sister was sleeping they covered her with all of them. Of course they thought it was the funniest thing and Millie didn't even wake up. Good luck when you get older girl! Actually Hen and Max are both very sweet with their sister.

I hate the fish-face

Okay so the boys love this little thing they call fish face. I personally consider it child abuse but Max, Henry and Dave think it is the funniest thing ever. Millie usually doesn't mind it, probably because she is not old enough to care just yet what she looks like. I prefer the happy bright eyes look rather than the I-may-have-some-dreaded-disease look. But I thought I should post it for posterity's sake

Memorial Day has come and gone

Ok, so obviously I have been a slacker when it comes to updating my blog. So I am playing catch-up and going to just post the pics that were on this disc. This was our exciting Memorial Day. We went to Enoch's annual Memorial Day bbq. (remember last year Meg?) Fun was had by all. There was a kiddy pool full of water and tons of water guns add that to Enoch's yard sans grass and what you get is a festival of mud. Henry got drenched, Max somehow avoided the mud( maybe it was because of his formidable double gun pose) , Milly slept, Dave played the Wii and I proceeded to gorge myself. What a way to remember all of the soldiers who fought so valiantly for our freedom.

Aunt May May, oh what great taste you have!

So

So Millie is the luckiest girl in the university because she has Megan for an Aunt. She sent this sweet dress from our nation's capitol and we love it. Millie wore it to her first day at church. It is really fun to hold her in it because it has a floofy ( is that a word?) slip in it. We can't believe how big she is getting.
