Wahz! It's been a month since i last blogged yea! Okay, i admit i am getting pretty lazy to blog these days.
I am still jobless despite being more than a month into my vacation. Have gone for several interviews, but somehow either the job is not suitable (yea, they pay miserably) or the job vacancy is filled or cancelled when my hopes were all pinned on landing the job that i wanted. My luck in finding job has somewhat deserted me recently. It really sucks when the interviewer is impressed by me during the interview and then had to call back and say that their project is cancelled and there are no more positions available. Wakow.
But at least i have found one (i think, hope nothing goes wrong) next week. Some kind of marketing and consultant company. Handling phone interviews and surveys. Well, i have decided not to be picky anymore. My bank balance can't last forever. Haha...
Have done lotsa stuff in the past month but i can't possibly remember everything!
1. Prawn fishing - $39 for 4 hours of prawn fishing. Grand total of prawns caught: 1
Illegal netting of lobsters: 5. Haha... In the end, i decided to keep 2 of the lobsters as pets. 1 committed suicide by depriving itself of oxygen. The other was on the way to join its pal, but in the nick of time, i released it at Punggol Park.
2. O-bar - Went for a drinking session with Kelvin and co. Got a bit high(although i was the least high among the lot coz i drank the least). And started singing KTV in front of the whole crowd at O-bar. Woohoo.
3. NYJC - Went back with Darling yesterday to eat the "blue-bowl" noodles. Alas! All the vendors have moved. Damn it! In the end, i went to find Mr Teo Lye Heng. Haha... He still could remember most of our class people's names! He almost forgot Daena though. And he couldn't remember Kiah Yin. He went like "Ahhh. Can't remember. The girl who live near me. Fat girl." Ooops.
4. Went swimming with Adam and Dudley yesterday at his condo. The recent hot weather had me wanting to jump into a pool whenever i stepped out of the house. Haha...
Yep, guess my next post would be when i have finally found a job. oH! ManUtd won the Champions' League! Wahahahaha! Who is Chelsea? And Daena, can you kindly ask your Real Madrid to keep their filthy hands off Ronaldo? They are starting to get really irritating.

Shit. ManUtd lost.
It was a super suay Saturday night lo! First ManUtd lost 2-1 to stupid Chelshit via a hotly-disputed penalty. And then i lost $10+ while playing mahjong till the wee hours of Sunday morning. And i hit the stupid post while playing soccer. I need to visit a fortune teller.
Been a long time since i blogged! Haha... Has been cropped up with final exams for the past few weeks! And now i am busy with doing doing up a proposal for a community service project. And i need to settle my Japanese Cultural Club stuff too!
Lotsa things to do! And i have yet to find a job! Dame!

Yay! Chinese New Year! It's the time of the year where i can finally feast on all the goodies again! Wait, i sound like a hungry ghost, don't i? Haha...
Hope the year of the rat will bring me luck and fortune! I have not been gambling k... I just hope that the soccer poles will have more mercy on me! I was playing soccer last Sunday where i scored a goal and hit the poles FIVE times. I couldn't believe my luck, or should i say bad luck. I could have gotten a double hat-trick. And one of my new soccer boots has just grown a mouth. Haiz.
Just today, Newpaper ran an article on this Boon Lay Primary School which has received much criticism for a poorly-handed school policy. Apparently the principal passed a rule stating that the school canteen stalls are ALL halal and pupils CANNOT bring non-halal food into the canteen, not even those brought from home! One parent was so incensed that she cried discrimination against the other races. Great! Now we have people who are racist against Chinese and Indians too. Oh, i didn't mention the race of the principal, did i? I will leave you guys to find out.
Somehow, i know i won't be able to enjoy myself during CNY as much as i did in the previous years. Once school starts again next monday, I know i am in for it.

It's been almost a month since i last posted! Did i disappear? Well, nearly... SMU projects are slowly, one by one, swallowing me up. Gosh, it's only the third week, and i am sick. What else can i say?
Down with flu and sore throat at the moment. Guess it must be the last friday's Seoul Garden and Kel's sis farewell BBQ that did the trick. And prata on Saturday night. Sunday morning soccer. It's no wonder that i got sick.
I am quite sick of school at the moment. Not becoz of lectures or homework, which is considered not a lot, but of the number of projects i have at hand. I guess project meeting time is gonna be more than time spent in lectures!
Anyway, most interesting thing that i saw recently was this stupid woman in her mid-thirties playing an audio clip of that RK house Prata man thingy(if u haven't heard it, you are not racist) in the MRT, bursting out in laughter with her boyfriend, totally unaware of the disapproving stares of the other communters. The best part? She was playing that clip right in front of an Indian! She looked like she laughed till her eyes could drop out! She nearly cried laughing. I was also crying. For her. For her stupidity. For goodness sake, if one wants to be racist, do it under wraps la. Like me.
Speaking of racism, i bet a lot of people out there has noticed that Topshop has somewhat altered its customer base. In the past, the designs were unique and was considered slightly more expensive. But now every ah beng and mud walks in and buys stuff from there! Especially those sick-looking colourful skinny jeans. Topshop should do something about its image. No sane person buys stuff from Topshop anymore. Now it's just ah bengs and muds.
It's late. i better sleep. I need to recover in time for CNY goodies!

Blind, Deaf, Forgetful, Stupid, Kiasu Singaporeans. Period.
Can't they just listen clearly to the radio?
Can't they just read the newspapers clearly?
Can't they just be less stupid?
Can't they just be less kiasu?
Can't they just be less forgetful?
This excludes teochew, hokkien, cantonese speaking aunties and uncles. Pardoned for not being able to read the newspapers or understand the radio ad.
But there's no excuse for the majority of Singaporeans who CAN READ and HEAR!
It's always "My friend tell me this, my friend tell me that."

Merry X'mas! Well, i am just a day late! Doesn't really matter rite! ~ sweeps an ant off my table.
It sucks to come back to work after a holiday! And i have been seeing ants scurrying around my workdesk since this morning. Guess they must have been having a X'mas party as well... I must have left one of my numerous candies lying around somewhere...
Anyway, was in Orchard with Darling yesterday... It was really packed yesterday! I lost count of how many people i bumped into and squeezed through! And met lots of people yesterday! First was Mr Vincent Toh Kim Yong! Hahar! It's been a really long time since i last met him! And he was with his girlfriend/fiancee/wife! I can't remember her name though! He's still as stoned as ever, and when i shouted out "Mr Toh!", he turned around, wondering who will call him that! Haha... It's so strange, but i can't explain it. Much as i had wanted to call him Vincent/KimYong/AhYong, "Mr Toh" just came out naturally! And he said to remember to call him if we have any class outings... That is if we ever have one again.
Met John at Heerens as well in the afternoon, and later a CPF colleague at night at Heerens' too after dinner at Fish & Co... The service was good i have to say... And there was a lucky dip where we won a fish-shaped pencil! While we were walking from Orchard to Suntec, we met Yanshan and her Rattata as well as her sec school friends! Haha... Rattata looked really stoned eh. He looks lost. For those who dunno what i am talking about, Rattata is actually the nickname of yanshan's bf. And for those who dunno what is Rattata, please go ask a 8yr old boy. He has the answers.
2 more weeks before school starts again. Damn... I wished holidays were much longer.
