October Afternoon week!!
Hey guys, this week I'll be posting one OA layout each day until Friday - I was looking through my stuff and came across my huge OA stash and decided to try and make a little dent in it :) This first LO is my DS as a baby. The floral pp matched the blanket in the photo really well. I got the title idea from the sheet of paper - "The Sandman Comes - he leaves me dreaming wondrous dreams of charming, far-off lands".

A beautiful moment...
At the end of the last school year, one of my daughter's field trips luckily fell on a Thursday, so I was able to go since that is the day I go into work late. I used up almost all that was left of my Prairie Chic collection by Bo Bunny (I sooo love that paper!!). I also used a Prairie Chic sticker, as well as a large Bo Bunny doily. The brads are from my old stash of Creative Charms.

My Dexter
Good morning! A bright and colorful layout about my son, using the "Hopscotch" collection from Colorbok. It's a gorgeous "signature" paper pad, so the papers are double-sisded. It had a lot of pink in it, but also really great blacks, greys, teals, and greens, so I figured I could make it work for a boy layout :)

I also added a whole lot of embellishmets from the Heidi Grace "Cartwheel" collection - epoxy sticker buttons, bling, and canvas sticker banners. And that white plastic circle? It's the left-over from the ATG gun cartridge:

Dreams do come true...
And today I'm sharing a dream-come-true kind of moment. It's hard to formulate the right words to adequately share my excitement... when I got the email from Kris, I admit I read it a few times - I just couldn't believe my name was really meant to be there...... I made the Bo Bunny DT!!
You know, that pp I buy ALL THE TIME. I don't think they've ever had a collection I didn't like and some of their releases have been my favorites of all time. And the other girls on that DT?? Super talented ladies... I can't even believe I will be creating alongside them. And some of them have been on the DT for years and years - what other proof would you need that Bo Bunny is an amazing company to work for - no one ever wants to leave!!
I am sooo looking forward to starting this new journey :)
Here is the entire DT:

Celebrate!
Another card to share today, using another sweet stamp from the Paper Nest Dolls. Again, I colored her up with Copics and cut her out with my new Spellbinders die. The pp is Heidi Grace and Carta Bella. I had to add some feathers for accents too :)

Build-A-Snowman
How adorable is this stamp from Paper Nest Dolls?!?! I love it, and it was so fun to color. I used Copics and added stickles for snowy and icy accents. The pp is G45.

An American Girl outing :)
Hi guys! Sorry for the long absence - been busy with summer stuff and a quick trip to the beach (stay tuned, those pics will be scrapped in due time :)
Today, I wanted to share a mini album I made. All the supplies (other than the Thickers and Prima flower) are all from the Heidi Grace "Cartwheel" collection. For Mother's Day this year, we went to NYC and stopped by the American Girl store - DD got to shop as a combo gift for her birthday and for finishing the school year so well. She was thrilled to be there, and she got Julie and 3 outfits. Heaven on earth for an 8 year old!
I used a pre-printed mini album that came with this collection - it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E. ... I didn't have to cover the pages, the not-fun part was already done for me, and all I had to do was add pics and embellies (that's the "fun" part LOL)
The cover had a cut-out window, so I made sure to position the pic on the first page to show through - this is DD walking through the store:

The cover also had some of the funky flowers printed on it, and I added some more of the chipboard embellies, crystal flourishes, and epoxy circles:

On the inside of the cover, I added a journaling spot to journal about the trip. And on the first, page, I used on of the printed, shaped photo mats (the chevron pp):

I also used journaling spots throughout:

The paisley chipboard shapes were punched out from one of the pages - each page has cut-outs, so when you punch them out you end up with cool little windows, as well as a bunch of chipboard embellies. the flower stickers are made of canvas and add great texture:

This butterfly embellie came from a package of really cute butterfly and heart embellies - they come with a lot of layers and are stitched down the middle, and add a lot of great, light-weight dimension:

This collection also came with a lot of great sentiments and quotes, which I used on most of the pages:

And here are the rest of the pages:

Thanks for reading! You guys can pick up the whole collection at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores.

Dreaming of butterflies....
I wanted to participate in the Bo Bunny June LO challenge, which was a sketch this month - check it out HERE. I used my all-time favorite collection, "Prairie Chic" - the colors matched perfectly to my daughter's face paint. I also used Martha Stewart punches for the butterflies, Prima and IamRoses.com flowers, and Prima pink flourishes. The lovely doily is by Bo Bunny as well - I'm really loving them lately!
