I guess it is about time for an update. Life has been so crazy for us. Jake has been so sick. He has been treated for strep throat 4 times since Christmas. I don't think he is getting rid of it. Kate had it once when Jake got it the first time, but luckily no one else is getting it now. The poor little guy gets done with his antibiotics and two days later he has a fever and sometimes a scarletina rash and worst of all a really really bad sore throat. I took him to an ear/nose and throat doctor and Tuesday and we decided that he needs to have his tonsils removed. He will get that done on March 5th. I'm hoping that will solve this problem.Danny was here for Christmas and we had a nice visit from Jonny and Kim right after Christmas. The kids love having all of them around.On January 17th we had a water pipe burst in our kitchen . WHAT A MESS!!!!! We had record setting low temperatures here a few days before that. We were staying at my mom's because our house was soooo cold. I think all of the heat was going to the 3rd floor and then out the roof or something. We didn't notice the pipe until Saturday when it warmed up. The kitchen, bathroom and part of the basement were flooded!!! We ended up having to have our entire kitchen ripped out. We are still staying at my mom's until the constuction is over. She is in Hawaii right now for a month so at least we aren't driving her crazy anymore. It has been a little crazy having to pick out a whole new kitchen so quickly and it's been a little tough going from a 3 story home to two bedrooms. :) We are getting used to it now. I am very grateful that we have a place to stay .Since moving in with my mom, Bella has learned how to crawl and gets into EVERYTHING!! She is so cute. If she is getting something she shouldn't and you ask her,"What are you doing?" , she squeals and crawls away as fast as she can. She is definately growing up WAY to fast. I love the age she is at right now. I am having so much fun with her. In fact, all of my kids are at a great age. I am really loving being a mom right now. Jake turned 9 last month. Wow, did that make me feel old.
