NO LONGER MR. NO NAME!!!Pictures by Gina Baker
Carson is his name. We are excited to finally make that announcement. Okay so we've had it for about 3 months but I have been busy napping and feeding and napping and feeding...okay so that's all i feel that i do anymore. :) Maternity leave has taught me alot and we have had some interesting experiences with our new little guy.
1. Kids over the age of 6 months should sleep through the night...no exeptions!!!
2. umbilical cords turn to sticky goo when your husband puts it in the dyer with all new baby clothes
3. The appetite of a nursing mother is INSANE!!! And now it looks like my tummy is pregnant again..not really though
4. Sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep....oh i wish i could sleep!!!! i haven't been this tired in 3 years!!!!
5. daytime tv stinks
6. Gary is tired of me quoting Nate Berkus
7.I am sure I will talk to my husband again...I just keep falling asleep the minute the kids are asleep.
8. I am spoiled by family and friends they are taking such good care of me and my family! thanks!
9. Loving being a stay at home mom
10. It's easier to accomplish stuff when you have less kids. Gary told me to paint my living room before the baby was born. I felt that I would be able to move around better after my pregnant belly was gone. So we waited and it turns out that I forgot after you have a baby they need to go to a babysitter and also get fed every couple hours. It kind of threw a kink into things but I got my living areas painted and all my cupboards as well.
11. Suprised me to have the baby blues...darn hormones!!!
12. Everytime I felt like my brain began working again my kids would wake up all night long and my thoughts turned to mush and I couldn't remember my last name.
13. cradle cap looks like someone threw up on your sweet baby's scalp...we're trying to get rid of it.
14. solitaire or facebook at 3am
15. Gary needs to proof read this so I don't embarass myself with spelling or lack of coherent thought. bah!! I'm sure it will return one day :)
Thanks for reading my maternity leave is over and I am about to enter the workforce again. Wish me luck!
