Gem Necklace

This Necklace uses Red Aventurine chips  and Sunstone ovals and rounds

If you look at the close up you will see that I have used two strands to thread the chips on then put both of these through the larger Jasper oval and rounds

Mothersday card 2

Here is the mothersday card for my mum

I have used the same card stock that I used to make the wall hanging I made last week, just scroll down a few post to see all the photos and details.

this is the box I also did the same in blue for the other mothersday card show earlier this week.

Again I used the cosmic board for the silver mat

 Again the verse was found on the net, here is a closer view

 And her is a closer view of the Mat with the flowers added again I made the rose myself its the same as in the wall hanging

Butterfly Mothersday Card

First of my Mothersday Cards

This is for my Mum-in-law, I have used the glitter girls cosmic board again for the round mat ,that I have added some of my handmade roses to. 

  I have sprayed them with Glimmer mist and sprinkled glamour dust over the top, you can just about see the sparkle in the photo below.

 I have also used the Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies

Black Multi Strand Necklace

Future Daughter in law Steph loved the blue necklace that I did yesterday , so I offered to make her one.

She wanted it in black with some red and silver beads as highlights

  The beads are some that were left over from another project that I did a few months ago, and the silver ones came from the same broken necklace that I used on the Blue version

Had fun playing with a stranded necklace.

The beads are some that I have had in my stash for awhile, I think some of them came from a Necklace  that I bought awhile ago That had broken.

So don't throw away those old beads make them into something new

Glitter Girls Cosmic board, Mothersday Wall Hanging

Just treated myself to the Glitter Girls Cosmic Board and A pack of the Crystal Domes.

This is a little wall hanging ready to give to mum on Mothesday , Along with a card that I still need to make

I do love all the little frames that are on this board and can see me using them on my cards as mats .

The butterfly was punched using the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch, The Purple flower in the centre I made myself using One of Penny Duncans Cut file

 Here are a few closer shots from different angles So that you can see the height of the dome.

still have more of these domes to use as there were 10 in the pack 5 round and 5 square, 

So they will be popping up on cards in the near future.

I might make my mother in law one , not that she is into these type of things but she might pop it on her dressing table.

It is also my nieces 18th Birthday next month so have an idea of doing one with an 18 added to the centre Domes

New Baby, Double twisted easel

My grandson Is about to have a new baby brother any day now ( this will not be our grandson, My Son and Keatons mummy have split up) this is a little welcome card .

The papers and Toppers I have used are from a Nitwits Collection Download,

I do love all these collections and have quite a few stored on my PC the backing papers are stunning.

Would like to collect them all but bank balance says no

If you look at my blog background this was also made using one of the collections

I have added some glamour dust to the cloud edges, buttons and flowers

And some pretty lace under the stopper banner

Pink and Cream Pearls

Making a nice dent in all the bead stash that I have Collected

These ones are Pink and Cream pearls with some lovely pink crystal  spacers.

Very pleased with this one look very pretty on

Christening Bookatrix

My close friends Grandson Joshua is being Christened in a weeks time.

So I made this bookatrix Keepsake card to give to the proud parents on the day.

Just need to do some shopping for a little gift for the sweet little man

I cut out the shape of the book and added some acetate over the top so the book inside showed through.

Just added a few peel off's and ribbon to decorate

 Here is the view of the card out of its box, and also below you can see the verse that I have added.

Image is a free decoupage download that has been on my PC for ages not sure where it came from
