Tim Holtz.... Tell your story.

Hello lovelies!

I'm so enjoying all my Tim Holtz craft stuff... and I've used his lovely writing desk die to make this card.  I love creams and aqua tones together so I had great fun making this piece.  I was inspired by the amazing Tammy Tutterow and her tag made using this die, fabulous!  The letter in the background is a stamp from The Artistic Stamper.

It's my first blog birthday today!!!

Hello lovely blog friends!

I'm very excited to say that I started my blog a year ago today.... and thanks to you super-kind people I now have over 100  fabulous followers!  Thank you so much to everyone who visits my blog and to those of you who leave me such encouraging and friendly comments, I really have appreciated every one of them.
I must also say a massive thank you to both Ryn Tanaka (Designs by Ryn!) and Eileen Godwin for encouraging me to start blogging and for inviting me to my first two design teams, big hugs ladies!

It has been a whirl-wind year, in that time I have been invited to join 4 Design Teams (Lavinia Stamps, Designs by Ryn, Rhedd and Rosie and Crafty Hands), and I can't quite believe it!  I'm so glad you all like to look at my 'crafty efforts', so here's a month-by-month look back at just a few of my favourite makes.....

Designs by Ryn .... on a 10" x 10"

Hello everyone!

This piece was made on a 10" x 10" sheet of watercolour paper.  I sprayed dylusions inks to create the background, then stamped lots and lots of stamps from Designs by Ryn!  I'll list all the stamps I used under the photo.....

Tim Holtz tag for Rhedd and Rosie.

Hello lovelies!

A little sad today.... this is my last DT make for Rhedd and Rosie's challenge, my time is up!  However, I'm excited to say that some months ago I was asked to join another design team for a challenge blog called
Crafty Hands.... yay!!  I'll be posting my first DT make for that challenge on the 31st of January.
Anyway, back to Rhedd and Rosie's challenge.... this time we want you to make something with 'No White'... here's my final DT make for the challenge...

I've used Tim Holtz's stamps and distress inks to make this tag, I just love getting messy with his inks lol!

Having fun with Eileen Godwin!

Hello lovely blog peeps!

Sorry I've been away from blog-land recently, I've been making samples for my DT groups before my new Open University module starts in a couple of weeks!  I'm going to be a bit scatty (well, more scatty than usual anyway!) when the module starts, so please bear with lol.... :D

Yesterday I went to one of Eileen Godwin's super craft workshops with my Mum and Aunty, such good fun with lots of lovely crafty ladies!   Here's what we made.....

This valentine's card was made with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, the hearts are stamped with leopard spots and lace from Designs by Ryn.

This pretty card was made with the flower cluster from a Dylusions stamp set, and the sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up set.

This delicate card was made with a stamp called Clematis tower from Oak House Studios.

Mixin' it up!!

Hello crafty peeps!

How the devil are you all?  Recovered from Christmas and new year I hope?  I've been having a little play today and really enjoyed mixing up my stash to make this tag.....

I made the background with Distress inks, then stamped some words from Inkylicious over the top.  The leaves are Ryn's beautiful reed stamps, the bird is from Donna Downey and the words and crown are Tim Holtz.
