Designs by Ryn - Anemone Stencil

Hello lovely peeps!

I've made a tag using the new Anemone stencil from Designs by Ryn.  The background was coloured with Distress Inks and a few dotty patterns stenciled over the top.  I spread modelling paste through the stencil and left it to dry.  (Make sure you wash the stencil immediately after spreading the paste through it, or the paste will set hard on your stencil!)  Once dry, I gently wiped Distress Inks over the flowers to colour them.  A few dots of white enamel, a yellow ribbon and the tag is done!

Mermaid Lagoon Distress Spray

Hello blogsters!

Couldn't resist a play with the new Mermaid Lagoon Distress Spray, it had to be a seaside theme didn't it?!

I gessoed a piece of cardboard then rubbed over with a Neocolour crayon and went over with a wet paintbrush to paint the background. Next I dribbled some glue from a hot glue gun (thanks Eileen Godwin and Contadina K!) to make wave patterns. I turned the card on its side and sprayed the Mermaid Lagoon and let it trickle through the glue. Next I stamped the lovely Spiral Shell from Designs By Ryn and coloured them. A sprinkle of Antique Linen distress EP, a few shells and my beach is done! Don't you just love that new Distress colour??

Designs by Ryn - Gingko Stencil

Hello bloggers!

I've teamed Ryn's lovely Gingko stencil with a 20's lady and 'feminine' word stamp. It took many attempts to make this card without smudging the ink!! The Gingko stencil is available from www.designsbyryn.com.

Spring tag!

Hello peeps!

It's been such a lovely day today, a real feel of spring in the air! This tag has been a long time in the making, I first made the emboss resist background weeks ago but didn't know what to put on it. I bought Tim Holtz's Spring Greenery die this week and added some of his tiny Tattered Florals flowers to turn this into a Spring-inspired tag. Hope you like it!

Thank you for visiting, big crafty hugs! Xxx
