Our "new baby" Naila - 8 weeks old.
Naila loves to go sit in our flowers in the back yard. She smells them first and then just sits there and enjoys them for awhile.

PLAYING IN THE PARK - 7/27/08

The girls and their families visited us in Portland this summer and we went to the beach at Devil's Elbow near Florence.
There must have been a big wave coming in!
When Scott got stranded, Spencer came to the rescue and carried him across the river.

Nina went to visit in Utah for Christmas. Corbin got a set of headphones and is sporting a zipper tie he got. He's all ready for our trip to the grocery store.

We had a sleepover at Kim's house and decorated a gingerbread house. It looked good enough to eat (which we did later).

We went sledding at Falcon Crest Park the day after Christmas.

History making storms hit Portland the week before Christmas, 2008.
We never get this much snow. It was fun at first, but got kind of old after 10 days or so.
No one went anywhere unless they absolutely had too. Most businesses closed. Even Cliff got stuck with his 4-wheel drive truck on our street.
Naila helped soften the blow of being an empty nester. 
Naila loved playing in the snow. She'd be a good dog for Utah:)
How can you resist those puppy dog eyes. Naila is 9 months old here.
