High School is indeed not meant to last forever. Living in East High forever will definitely be anyone's dream come true. High School Musical 3, another successful film by director, Kenny Ortega, in his 3 part episode of the musical entravaganza of High School Musical. Being the Senior year, each character is bogged with the idea of being separated from each other after graduation. As part of their senior year, the drama society organised them to portray a skit based on their life and experiences at East High. Taking a broadway approach to this musical, High School Musical has yet again proven herself worthy to be part of the Disney family with hit singles like Just Wanna Be With You and A Night To Remember. Cinemas are flocked with not only kids but also teenagers who want to see what life at East High for the Senior Year is gonna be. Taking the stage, the cast of the High School Musical Trilogy, Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman, sing and dance away for an entertaining timespan of 112minutes which will leave your feet tapping and hands moving to the Wildcat beat.

DILEMMA
im caught in a dilemma.
well 2 if i may say. One is my camera, one is work.
Lets start with my camera dilemma. I do not know which camera to buy, a canon 40d or a 450d. Both are good in it's own ways. The 40d is better in terms of quality which means will go a longer way, however, it is already discontinued, thus, it is gonna be difficult to find. as for the 450d, it is cheap, versatile and light. However, it does not have a high quality like the 40d. But, for me, im looking for something of good quality and versatile. TORNED!!!!
Then, work, haii.... dunno where to begin. wait that's the exact problem with work too. I JUST DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN! I got 3 productions at hand. Out of which, all are overly ambitious. Well, lets put it this way, my internship/elephant documentary is not over. We are still in the midst of editing it. Some people just don't do the right thing and listen, and think they know so much when they know nuts. Oh well... you're right, politics. Someone is power hungry, and for wad?! i also dunno... so we are still waiting for Yvonne, who is our lecturer to return the edited script. Then it is left to piecing it up to the timings, colour correcting, voice recording by Charlene, doing the final cuts, then WALLA! its OVER! That's a long way more. As for my Youth Olympic ad, well yet another ambitious idea from Wesley Kow.
Synopsis:
Following the tortoise and the hare story structure, 2 teenagers, a sprinter and a cyclist compete with each other to see who will win a race. As they race throughout Singapore to places like Little Indian, Geylang and Chinatown, these teenagers pass through the different cultures here. At these locations, they will see teenagers playing with cultural games or just trying out different cultural practices. As for the Little India Scene, there will be a shot of an Indian girl doing henna on another friend’s hand, as for the Geylang scene, there will be a group of teenagers playing either sepak takraw or capteh, and as for the Chinatown scene, you will see some more teens playing with kites. Teenagers at the various locations stop what they are doing and join the race and in the end, it becomes a bigger race where everyone works together, despite all their differences, and wins altogether as one. At the end of the race, they will see the finishing line with the words “YOUTH OLYMPICS SINGAPORE 2010” on it.
I realised that i love to do projects based on human resource. Meaning, i use more people in my projects rather than use 1 or 2 people or even none. Well i technically need a minimum of 15people for mine. But... more will be better. At the rate im going, if all goes well, i'll probably be seeing another A or B+ for my Alternative Design. Who knows, a minimum of 3 for my GPA. If hardwork will get me a 3, why not? Next, it's my FINAL YEAR PROJECT! Well, i know i need to work on it alot more but i have been too caught up with presentations and the documentary. A musical no doubt, but things have got to start early. Plus, not to mention, auditions will start really soon, well lets see.... 2 weeks from now? means tomorrow, i got to start publicising. I am like a work freak at the moment. I never knew i will be so caught and tangled up with all these projects that i will not have time to breathe. Definitely, a booze at the end of the week and a lil grinding to top that up. HAHA. If i keep on with this, i'm definitely not going to get married.
Speaking of which, i played this game called Cashflow, which is some successful, millionaire kinda game. It teaches you how to get out of the rat race. Pretty much like Monopoly, times 100 times more complicated. AHHA. however, it does get ur brain thinking. Monopoly deals most with real estates, but Cashflow, has both real estates, and other investments like stocks, etc. So it is more down to earth for the average working joe who wants to make it big in life. Started off boring cos i had no clue wad to do, now, im dying to play it again. What a way to bond as a family uh?
So, back to work, I am torn between which project should i start on. It feels like me cleaning my room, which part to clear first. Oh well, I guess i will at least start on my FYP tomorrow, script will begin and other publicising. Then afternoon is devoted to the Elephant Documentary followed by Acting for this Channel called Universal Channel. Well i got this job last week when some dude smsed me from BDA. I went for an audition a while back and totally forgot about it. haha.. then they called to tell me i got picked to act for the channel. It's a trailer to probably advertise for the channel. I just got to laugh at the cam and then, im done there. Then, it's back home for more work, i will need to work on my YOG advert/interstitial then. GOOD LUCK to another day of pure work and no play, is Wesley gonna be a dull boy? I don't think so.

SATURDAY @ play
ANOTHER AFFAIR @ PLAY
Well we went to PLAY to celebrate crystal's 18th bday. She's legally black now.
We used a really simple camera, but with my editing skills, it looks like a DSLR pic. speaking of which, 40d or 450d for me? help me decide if you know about them.
Music was awesome. AWESOME HOUSE MUSIC. but barely danced.
SPIN the BOTTLE was played, yet again.
we ordered a bottle which cost $188 bucks. it was quite a waste considering we finished it.
Hakim and I, dun think kinky.
- the cold, sizzling kiss...

MUMMY'S SCARED I'LL TURN BAPOK ONE DAY!
Internship has not ended but FYP has started. Today, we had consultation for our ideas and my idea, by far, has been approved.
FYP stands for Final Year Project.
Being the ambitious me, i decide to embark on a musical. Well, it's not any normal musical, nor any High School Musical kinda thing. I'm planning to do a musical based on cross-dressing.
The story entails this young boy whose dream was always to be a cross dresser. However, his parents are the ones always pulling him back. Held with all these barriers in life, he is determined to still live his dream and become a drag queen. His friends in school make fun of him. Are they really his friends? Faced by all these problems, he is determined to one day be accepted for who he is as he makes a debut of his first ever Drag Show.
However, what comes in as the surprise is the end, where, as he performs, the camera will zoom in or something, and the transformation of the young drag queen, will turn to an adult drag queen, also known in the local scene as Kumar.
The problem now lies in, getting Kumar to act in the musical. Imagine, Kumar, the musical. HAHAHA! Awesome shit. Anyway, i am looking for supporting casts and crew. Anyone interested in filling these spots are more than welcome. Remember, you will definitely learn something from this production.
Come and live the dream with me and make this musical a success. Filming starts in a month. Ends in January.

THE COOL DIARIES
Yesterday was the COOL Choir's 20th Anniversary. I put together a video titled the COOL Diaries as a way to remember what the group has gone through for the past 20years. It was a day of fun, and entertainment for both young and old. Betilda, Fran, Chris(OMG!), Damian, Janice and I did a dance for THE KIDS. It was Stick to the Status Quo from High School Musical. If we were to do it for ourselves, we would definitely do something more kinky or pumped up. Get low, for example. Or who knows, DISTURBIA! haha... oh well, we did enjoy ourselves amidst all the fighting and differences during the planning. But, im proud to see how the group comes together to work out something when the need arises. :)
Also, others to thank include Jillian for her continuous support for all these years be it drama or music, and for playing the organ for the Anniversary Mass. Also, to Edwin who has stepped up from being not just a normal active member but someone who wants to see a drive in the group, no matter how humiliating or tiring it could be, Kathy, for coming for the meetings and initially doing the dance with us, the Dance crew for our awesome improvision work, Fran and Bets for the dance steps, the decor team for their nice designs and careful planning, The Adcom for planning the other stuff like food, emceeing, and making time all these years to build the group. Marcus and Edwin for coming despite their exams the next day, Jenny for supporting us, Denise who came back and sung with us like before, and for everyone else who helped out which i might have forgotten about. Thank You!
