Happy Halloween!
Damn! It has to be this time of the year when my O levels is approaching. Frankenstein woke me up today telling me that Dracula was waiting for me to challenge him with blood drinking as i promised last year. After that, on my way to my parent's shop, the spirits of the Siglap Cemetry were all so happy. They were waving their arms(if they had) in the air. Some were even singing songs like Bengawan Solo! At night, on my way home after a tiring day of studying, grandmother witch staying houses away from mine stopped me. She past me a paper which stated...
On this witching hour,
Grant me eternal power.
Bring this power in the night,
When the clock strikes 12! Good night!
She asked me to read it at 9 with candles all around me. I followed her instructions and now, 2 hours 30 mins more and this so called 'power' will be mine. Oh wait, I got to go, the zoombies are waking up. I don't wanna miss it again. After that, I'm gonna wake the dead with the help of my neighbouring banshees. I will scream the wake up call with them so that no spirit is left sleeping on this very Halloween! Happy Halloween!

Dreams!
Flight
Soaring the limits of the sky, I was thrown back to reality. “Ring! Ring!” sounded my alarm clock. I hated this feeling of having to wake up early in the morning to fulfill my goal of the day, which was to complete the last minute touch ups of my latest invention so that the fantasy of flying will be converted to a reality.
As I entered my garage to take my invention onto the lush greenery of Mother Nature’s miracles, I stumbled upon my screwdriver, which I had misplaced yesterday. At last, the final turn of the screw and my invention is complete. If all my judgments were correct, I would be able to fly this baby in no time.
I entered the cockpit of the sophisticated machinery that took me years to build. It was the moment of truth. I could not believe my eyes how great it looked from the inside, as I never had the chance to give it a good look. After sitting comfortably on the pilot’s seat, I started the engine. It made a loud sound. However, within seconds, it failed. I was stunned. Could my dreams of flying fail me? With determination, I tried once again. The engine started to work together with the propellers of each wing. Enthusiasm to get this invention flying filled me to the brim.
The machine started to move forward. The loud sound of the engine attracted the attention of villagers around the area. Many started to crowd around the field with blank faces, unaware of what this monster was. After gaining momentum, I pulled the trigger for take off. It flew like a bird. People started to clap with excitement. I managed to accomplish my biggest dream, the dream to fly. The earth looked so much more beautiful from a bird’s eye view. It was magnificent as I saw all the villagers at different parts of my village pointing to the machine, the long stretch of greenery, wild animals in the forest, and the blue oceanic colour of the sea, which I had never traveled on before. I felt like God for that very second. All was left was naming this contraction . So, I decided to call it an Airplane.

Why Do You Think That Some People Are So Pressed For Time But Some Have Too Much Time On Their Hands?
Buddies!
I have been doing these compos for my grandmother to read so that she can help me improve my english. Btw, today's topic is about time management. Its dedicated to Aunty Debs from The Revelation Generation Group in OLPS who is an inspirational speaker when it comes to time management. Hee hee.... btw the gal in d pic is not a.debs. she is Renee my good buddy! haha...
Time, time, time! It is all about planning your timetable well and accomplishing your goals in that particular time span. However are we all victims of time mismanagement? Different people have more time than others partly due to the responsibilities in which they are obliged to keep. However, some people with the same responsibilities can accomplish their goals faster and have more free time due to their fast-working habits.
Time mismanagement is a common problem among Singaporeans who have to keep a hectic schedule over a short period of time. From waking up early in the morning to kick-start the day to burning the mid night oil to finish all the last minute work before work on the next day begins. Singaporeans are so filled with work that they are not given much time to spend with their children or for recreational use. Weekends, too, are occupied for work. Lunch is sometimes a miss for some people. However, this can all be accomplished through time management. With time management, habits are inculcated to people to accomplish their work or goals in a shorter period of time by the creation of a timetable. With a timetable, a schedule is formed to balance both play and work this will help relief stress as all work and no play makes Singaporeans dull people. As a result, people with the use of time management will not feel so pressed when it comes to time on the hands, resulting in having more free time for recreation and for family life. Time management kills two birds with one stone as Singapore’s ageing population crisis will, therefore, be achieved through the availability of more time for family fostering and bonding if people make use of time management well.
Another factor resulting from some people having more free time than others is the presence of fast miracle workers. Some people are gifted with talents to work, think and act fast. As a result of this, different people have different working speeds. These speeds vary depending on habits inculcated in the workers throughout their life. An example is a student who always practices Mathematics as compared to another who rarely does it. Who do you think will be better and faster at Mathematics? Of course, it is the student who practices it often. Practice makes perfect. When you practice, you tend to pick up speed as you go about doing, for example, a Mathematical Sum as your brain will start to think and act faster resulting in your work being accomplished at a shorter time span.
Apart from that, some people have more free time than others also due to the fact that different people have various responsibilities to keep. The more responsibilities you have, the lesser time you treasure for enjoyment or recreational use. Responsibilities may vary from work to family responsibilities. No matter how you go about accomplishing them, you will definitely have less time for other purposes. Therefore, people have less time than others due to the different working schedules and responsibilities.
Time is very important for us. We need time for different purposes at different time intervals such as having breakfast in the morning and not at night. With time management and the other factors put to use, we are given more free time to do constructive or destructive things. It depends on how we want to use it and how wisely we use it because a stitch in time saves nine.

Changes
From A Different View Point

Changes happen all the time in the world today. It may come under different strokes of changes such as physical, mental and emotional change, but we do go through it from the time we enter this world till the time we depart from it. We are all part of the grand circle of life. Therefore we all go through a form of change all the time. However, are these changes beneficial or negative in the way we carry on living?
Being a teenager, I can relate to forms of change quite easily. A form of change that is most frequent for teenagers is emotional change. Teens usually fall under this category as they have major emotional swings. They may one day be the happiest person in the world and on the next day, they feel so depressed to the point of committing suicide. An example of this change taking place, is when a teen, in a relationship, breaks up with his or her partner. Their emotions will swing from being so happy and in loved(before they broke up) to being to depressed(when they had broken up). Therefore, without this emotional change occurring in our life, we would not be given the liberty to feel and express ourselves to one another.
However, we do not only live life with only emotional changes. We also go through mental changes. Mental changes may vary from being a fighter or being a failure. A positive example is the life of an economically poor boy who is only allowed food, drink and an education. This boy is not happy for the state that he is living in, as it is worst than the life of a normal person yet he is not looking into the direction of remaining a failure. So what does he do? He fights to reach his fullest potential. The results have shown that he is one step better than the majority of the world who has things laid upon their laps instead of working hard to earn them. Thus, the economically poor boy knows the value of life and will be more hardworking in getting out of his nightmare he is living in. Without mental changes in the world, every one will be equal and the world will stagnant as there will not be an urge to be better than the rest. There will be no urge to be better and no urge to be a failure.
The end result of mental and emotional changes in life is physical change. Physical change is a change, which is quite unique as it can be visible with only the naked eye. Physical changes for, example, teenagers are due to mostly factors such as peer pressure. We may fall under this category as we are mostly influenced by the people around us; our peers. An example of this change happening among teens is when we suddenly change our fashion sense from the goofy high school graduate to a sexy cat walk model. This change happens all the time. Even the slightest change in your hair do is a form of physical change. We are all victims of this change as it is part and parcel of growing up.
Changes do occur 24-hours in our life. Without change, nothing can function. It does not have to be changes involving us alone. Mother nature is doing her job to bring about change in the life forms of the world too. Everything helps to make change. Through change, the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower were built. We make the difference in the world. However, are the changes we make positive or negative factors in the way we think, learn and do in our lives?

Apek does not equal Wesley!
Hey... Wesley is in d hse! haha... What topic should I bring up today?
* I shall go look for a book to talk about! Why not the bible? haha... Nah... I shall talk about a commandment.
Love Thy Neighbour as God has loved us
God's love for life is an unconditional love. However, are we suppose to love unconditionally? We humans are not perfect. Even this excuse is not perfect as it is not a good excuse in life yet many people use it. We humans nevertheless are quite imperfect. However, we should not keep creating excuses but try to find solutions to it. We can't love conditionally right? How about trying our very best to love one another. I noe its not that easy to do so but God helps those who help themselves. We sometimes get very petty towards one another. Its Human Nature for heaven's sake. However, we do not have to be too petty about the things we do such as loosing a pen when a friend took it for a while and then hell breaking loose cos of that. We all have to have an aim in life. And for today, our aim is to love one another and be less petty.
Apart from that, love is something everyone has or has gone through despite it being love for a pet, friend or family member. We all love or have loved one thing or another. In the 1st place, i shouldnt be putting an '-ed' to my love as we love at least a someone all the time. Love for one another is very great. This is especially so for siblings as we grow up together and living life without love may lead us to having a bad future ahead of us. We need love from the time we come out of our mother's womb till the time we die no matter whether the love given is from the same person or not.
At birth, our parents support us with the love we need. It may seem as if this love is weakened when we grow older but there is still love. Many teens across the world regard their parents as useless people as they have lacked in the love given by their parents or have been given too much love that they do not feel this love anymore. However, deep down inside our parents hearts, their is still alot of love there. We may fall under the problem of not honouring your father and your mother which in turn leads to another commandment being disobeyed. Wait! do not think that its because you are not perfect if you were thinking so... hee hee.. See the consequences of not following this very important commandment. As a result of dishonouring ur parents, many teens will start mixing around with bad company resulting in peer pressure such as theft. Thou shall not steal is yet another commandment which is indirectly caused due to the main one being destroyed. As time passes by, for extreme cases, some may even fall into religious problems such as join these underground satanic groups or ok... lets not be too extreme but some may even start playing with satanic objects like the uija board.i dunno whether i spelt it correctly. haha... Another resultant commandment being disobeyed, There shall only be one god and no other. Or else if these people are not that extreme, they may even fall under the sin of commiting adultery due to the fact that moral values were not taught at a young age by their parents. I do noe of some youths who stand at the altar every day who are a victim of this! Like the saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. Seriously! this is quite a common problem especially so for countries like America where they are not taught the right values and as a result, they scold their parents or seniors foul languages and show them foul signs. Therefore, we should all try anew from now, not tomorrow as when tomorrow comes, you will say tomorrow again. I shant continue anymore as it is never ending... But always remember, 'Love the Lord your God with all you heart, and with all your mind' If you can't love him, you can't love anyone else. This is the greatest commandment according to Matthew 22:34-40!
