Witnessed: Visiting Priest From Holland Collapses During 10.30am Mass At OLPS and Dies Later!!!!
In Venice

Mass began punctually at 10.30am on the 22nd of May, Sunday, with the entrance hymn. The priest, Father Gregory(parish priest) and Father Luke Van(visiting priest) entered the church with the wardens and altar servers. As the entrance hymn ended, father Greg introduced Father Luke to the congregation by starting up with a little joke. He said that Fr. Luke was his uncle as his father's name had a "Van" in it too. Then he said it was a joke. Fr. Luke laughed together with the congregation. The mass began and continued as per normal with Fr. Greg celebrating it and starting with the opening prayer. Towards the end of the homily, i was feeling kinda bored. Then, it went on into the Responsorial Psalm. The woman saying it was pausing many times. After the 3rd or 4th response, Fr. Luke collapsed hitting his head. Many people gasped and one woman even screamed with shock. Fr. Greg who was nearest to him came to his aid 1st. Soon after, the altar was filled with wardens trying to carry Fr. Luke's unconcious body to the Secrecy, the room behind the altar where the priest and altar servers changed before the mass. I was suddenly awaken fromthe boredom i had earlier. Everyone too. Mass continued. Fr. Greg's voice had a sudden change. From happy voice to a worried one. He made up another Responsorial Psalm praying for Fr. Luke. Wardens and some other people called for the ambulance which came half an hour later towards the end of the mass.Upon the end of mass, the concluding hymn was shortened. As we were exiting the church, Fr. Paul, another parish priest, came to the altar to announce that Fr. Luke Van's heart had stopped beating and that they gave him his final rights. It was my 1st ever experience seeing 1stly someone dying at the altar, secondly, someone even dying, lastly, someone dying from a heart attack. When i reached down, i saw some paramedics, wardens and Fr.Luke Fong(another parish priest) carrying Fr. Luke Van on a strecher down the stairs. Everyone was just staring at them. Father Luke Fong was carrying his priest outfit to his waist while rolling the body on the strecher to the ambulance. Everyone just crowded the foyer, walking behind the strecher. Fr. Luke Van was sent to Changi General Hospital. The routine for an ambulance must be changed as it took half an hour for the journey from Changi to Siglap which is a bit absurd. It was truly a memorial experience and hopefully, the church will realise that the car park has to be improved drastically as it was difficult for the ambulance to enter the church grounds with so many cars around it.

Science Centre Visit!!!
~EaStEr MaSs~

Its one week more to the June holidays. No time to rest though. Today we had school and then had my CCA, Legion of Mary. After that, my class and 3E3 were given the opportunity to visit the omniax theatre at the Singapore Science Centre. We had to pay $6.40 for it. It was a cool experience as I only visited that theatre twice. It was interesting as we were on the verge on discovering the Mystery of the Nile. The Omniax theatre is a theatre which has a screen covering the whole semicircle of the place. It is pretty big. Before we set ourselves for the movie, we had to go for a talk regarding the facts about the Nile. We learnt about the Aswan Dam which was part of our Geography syllabus. I really enjoyed the experience as we learnt that the crocodiles at the Nile River filled it. And the total no. of people the crocodiles there have killed were more than any other animal which walks, swims or flies on this earth. Cool right? Besides that, the show was a headache. It made many viewers feel dizzy and stuff like that. My Geography teacher asked me whether I felt dizzy when we reached school as I was the only student who went for the movie waiting for my parents. I replied not so den she said she feels like vommiting. See what science and technology can do to a person.

STAR WARS EPISODE III
Old Fart

The premier of the movie i long to see has finally reached cinemas in Singapore. Star Wars Episode III, the last episode of George Lucas's Project. It show was the hit for many teenagers such as myself. However through my perspective, it was less interesting than episode II. This could probably be the reason because the introduction was quite long. However, I have no regrets watching the show and i wanna buy the action figurines from the show as I am a Star Wars Fan and yet the previous Episode(II), I have yet to have purchased any of the figurines. Wanna noe how Episode III was.....
The main titles of the Star Wars film was being introduced as all the other episodes. The show began as there was a war in the galaxy among a giant aircraft and the and the galactic battleship. Many fighter planes were fighting against the opposite team. Obi Wan's aircraft was hit leading him to fly into the empire's battleship with Anakin upon the doors shutting at a high speed. Obi Wan force jumps out of his aircraft and slashes the droids. After all the droids in their way were destroyed, they went on a search which was a trap to find Senator Palpatine who was kidnap by General Genious(i dunno how to spell). They found the emperor and then count dooku came. Both jedis fought together to attack count dooku but after a while, Obi Wan was pushed to a side and a load was dropped on him. Out of rage anakin attacked count dooku by slicing off his two hands. Then, the Emperor told anakin to kill count dooku. Anakin followed. They escaped the area with anakin carrying obi wan on his shoulder as he was unconciuos. If you wanna noe the rest of the story, you have to go watch the show or read the book. If not, it won't be that interesting.
I played bowling with my friends, John Tay ,Timothy, Ernest, Kenneth, Ian, David and Nicholas. We had an enjoyable day. Surprisingly, i managed to win everyone playing overall for the games with my 1st score of 80 and second of 86. Nothing to jump for joy but it was the fun which mattered not on whether i got 1st or last!

Results!!!
It's All Up To Me!!!!

The chain of Unfortunate Events had finally ended. This was a horrible chain of events as the events have shown, i am not fully prepared for wad is to come, my 'o' levels. My streak is going down the drain. Its all up to me now to put myself together and study hard for jus a few more months. Rules that i have set for myself during the June holidays are as follows...
Not going for Rg meets(novena)
Practice Maths Daily
Read a chapter of every subject in 1 week
Be discipline for the next few months
Remebering is better than Studying!!!
The pressure I have been getting is outrageous. I had thought I would do well for the exams. I was shocked upon getting my humanities and poa paper back. I failed. My results are as follows...
English = B4
Maths = C6
Science = D7(surprisingly coz im not good in sci n the chem paper was extremely difficult)
Humanities(ss/hist) = D7
POA = D7( i usually get A1 for it!!!)
Geography = C6( I also usually get A1 for it but since we didnt have a teacher in the beginning of the year, i was failing tremendously, so this is a slight improvement. Nothing to brag about though)
Malay 'B' = I passed!!!
Upon hearing my results, i have those lectures from my parents..
Father: Did you get back any results today?
me: I told you i got back all already wad....
Father: How much did you get for maths?
Me: C6. I had improve slightly from my last exam
Father claps hand in sarcasm.
Mother: That's not good enough!!
Me: i know but just telling you'll i have improved a bit. It takes time for me to do well. I can't jus be getting F9 den all of a sudden getting A1.
Father congratulates me sarcasticly.
The commotion continues till we reach home when i show a sign of relief. Hate things like this to happen. I bet my sis will now read this and den complain to my parents!! Its not like i wanna purposely do badly!!!

Exams Are OVER!!! At last!!
Stylo Milo(Hee hee)

This pressure which i had to go through this past week is just as bad as going to hell!!! It may have seemed as if i was like slacking and all but trust me deep inside stress to the core sial.... I have been waiting anxiously for this very day to come.... At last... Exams were an overall challenge for me. English was alright... seemed the same as all other papers... malay 'b' was easy except for the blardy listening comprehension which sucked Big time(with a capital B). The following week from that exam was the toughies.... most were paper 2s..... we had maths paper 1 and 2 which was kinda alright but didnt completely finifh the paper though.... science chem was as difficult as difficult can b.... u may think i didnt study for tt.... but the truth is i did or mayb the whole cohord(dun mind my spelling if its wrong) of us didnt study enough or mayb our chem teacher is being a ass as he loves to set difficult papers and then laugh at us... annnoying this type of teachers isn't it.... plus he thinks it funny..... ok..ok... enough with science chem... now into geog... it was alright basic paper but the ironic part was that i was nervous that i forgot the marine feature which is a wave-cut platform and put it as a rift valley instead.... hmmm den we had history and ss which were kinda alright... i think that was abt it. Then, this week we had the paper 1s' and poa... poa was kinda easy for both papers but the prob was i forgot how to do some of it as i was more concentrated in my sneezing as i was coming down for a flu on tt day... den for statement for finding net profit i did a profit and loss a/c cos the question seemed to be phrased as a pnl a/c question.... most of the paper 1 were a breeze but carelessness is common with me... so i dunno.... its all in the matter of fate which will come soon....
Today after our last paper which was poa paper 1, we went str8 to marina to play pool. Ian and his fan club went to waych kingdom of heaven while david phipps, nick de cruz and i went to play pool there. It totalled to be $9.70 for slightly above an hour's worth of games.... wat a rip off... after tt, we went to suntec for lunch as we gazed at asia or the world's largest man-made fountain. We walked arnd the underground of it looking for a place to have lunch. We later found ourselves at the food court around there... i had char siew rice(on a friday) haha and a fresh revitalizing quench thirsting lime juice... afterwards... they went home while i roamed the whole of suntec and carrefour for fun to occupy my time while waiting for ian and company... wen the show finished we all went to raffles place and then made our way to little india.... we played pool there then, to our surprise, we met some others frm our class who were few tables away. The majority of 4E3 was at the pool club!!! We drove their attention to us after i called mark llyod who was among them... He picked up his phone then...
*
Wesley: Why aren't you at the RG meeting?
Mark: I'm out with a girl(Bullshit)
Wesley: At a pool place?
Mark: Ya, with gals.
Wesley: But isnt roshan, nicholas sandaman, etc. with you now?
Mark: I played soccer with them then i made my way home then left to meet gals.
Wesley: Then, why is nicholas sandaman standing directly next to you?
*
Mark scanned the area with his phone attached to his ear. Then all of a sudden, he spotted us and said, "Wesley" with hands pointing at my direction. I put down the phone and headed the few metres he was frm me. We said a little hi to eache other then headed back to the pool table where ian and john tay were competing. Next it was ernest and my competition. Ernest acted or mayb was a rookie but his first shot was a contradiction to what he told me earlier. However he was on the winning end till he hit the black ball into the pocket at the wrong time.. what a waste... the following games were kinda good as we all were masters of this game. I won surprisingly, ahha. The day ended well as i went with them to Sim Lim Square where i searched hi and low to get a converter for serial to usb port but whatever they had was usb to serial port and the one i was looking for was hardly in existence or of no such invention. All the shops i went to; all gave the same answer. So annnoying... took the little india mrt stop with ernest home. He dropped at Eunos while i stopped at Kembangan. Went home and had dinner watched OC den decided to use the com once again after the torture i have been through the past week.
Whatever it is, seconds of enjoyment are to past if it is not put to good use as frm monday onwards the chains of sorrow will be latched back. I am not so worried about this exam as i am sure that what i would do for my o levels will be definitely better.... schools just wanna make work tough so that we will have an in depth knowledge of the subjects we r sitting for despite the o levels being just the basic knowledge of our subjects...

Mother's Day
......dotz...
Mother's Day Eve has finally come!!! As host, chef and entertainer for the 2005 Mother's DayEve Dinner, it is my duty to inform the public on my 1st attempt on Barbequeing and having a surprise party catered for 4 moms but onli 3 came....haha... It was kinda fun as in the late morning nic and i went to Cold Storage to buy some groceries for the BBQ. We bought potato chips, bacon, drinks and so many other things there which onli amounted to 25 plus bucks....haha while i thought i would have been at least 50 bucks. Then we walked all the way frm Siglap Centre to Chai Chee Prime Supermarket and bought other stuff like Oreo and Ice cream. My grandmother did another section of buying the goods. She bought the spare ribs and some other meats.
At night, we started by me calling anton up to find out how to turn on the bbq set in my house. How ironic isnt it? I found out that it was because i didnt turn on the gas... haha.... my father wasnt home for Mother's Day as he went on his fishing trip to bond with his brother-in-law who was not important enough then this wife who is a mother too!! It was all up to me to make it an enjoyable exprience. On the whole, they found my bbqing nice; not to over-cooked, not to under-cooked. They did have an enjoyable dinner and esp. that nice sour cream dip a.samn made which was out of this world together with the chips. After getting a scolding in the morning from my mom for having this party, she thanked me in the end... hee hee... that's practically whateva that happened.
The next day, i prepared breakfast in bed for my mom which was the actual Mother's Day. What a nice and thoughtful, caring son aren't I???? Stop flattering urself, Wesley!!! haha.... It all went smooth so it was boring... haha... that's all folks!!!

Exam HeadAche
RoCk On!!!

Its exactly 1 week since the start of my 1st exam, English. I’m sitting down in front of the big coloured screen in awe, yawning away. English was a can do thing except for the oral conversation which sucked to the max. I hate this MOE thingy. Firstly, the questions are entirely lame. Secondly, we don’t even relate or benefit from these questions. My question was something like does schools prevent you from knowing extra, or something like that. So annoying!!!! RAGE!!!! Hahaha….. Malay ‘B’ which took place the following day was easy except for the listening which was a sure fail. It was not Malay ‘b’ standard! It was like higher mother tongue standard. No one could understand anything. Blardy annoying ain’t it??? Too bad your not in my shoes or else you would have been dead long time ago. Thanks to my patience and high tolerance that I have not resorted to a strike or something towards schools. I know it is important to us but do we need the extra knowledge to be successful? Absolutely, not. Why do we study chemistry if we are not gonna be scientist. toopid!!! We should like study the important general papers like Maths and English only and nothing else if it doesn’t prove relevance. Besides that, there is the sub or comb of subjects in which 2 subjects are combined into 1. What is the meaning of this??? They think we are robots??? We study for 2 subjects and in which half of the marks will be used for combination. Might as well take all subject to be pure. At least we study less and not be so stressed yet get the marks we study for 1 subject rather than 2.
I just came back from Samuel’s place. Went there with the usual RG group and then we played at the playground and stuff. We watched IceAge!!! Haha…. I am a deprived boy!!! Haha…Reached home around 2330. Now, I am so freaking tired plus mus wake up early tomorrow so that I can study for the rest of the exams which will continue for the whole of this week and next. Hate it!!!
