Happy Birthday Hannah! Part 2

Hannah officially turned 1 last Saturday on the 13th.  I can't believe how big she is! We had another birthday party for her on the Weight side and we had a lot of fun! Hannah got some more new clothes, a new rocking horse that makes noise, a play table, and more books. She is growing up so fast! She is so cute! We have taught her how to do "I'm a little teapot" and she also raises her hands and says "up" She is so smart! She will also copy Brandon when he talks and uses his hands to explain things she'll start copying what he's doing.  It amazes me how much she's grown in the past year and the milestones she's reached! We love her to death!

Brandon and I have both been really busy with work and school.  He goes to school everyday and picks Hannah up from her babysitter three days a week so I can work a couple more hours. I am back full time at the Credit Union and it's a big change for me because I was so used to working a couple hours a day.  I don't mind it at all because we have been really busy so the time usually flies by.  I have also started doing more loans which has been kind of a nice change, rather than doing mostly teller stuff.

Brandon is working hard in school and is taking an Asian Humanities class. Well for this class he was required to go to this Indian concert of some sorts and bought us tickets.  I have no problem admitting that I am not as cultured as some people and am not a big fan of classical music.  Anyways, let's just say I was less than thrilled to go to this concert.  Brandon kept telling me that these people only go to huge concert halls and it was an honor to have them at BYU. I decided I would be more open to the idea and give it a little chance.  We show up and get seated and there is a big Indian carpet on the stage ( i called it their flying carpet, brandon didn't like that much......lol) so they came out on stage and they played these indian drums while sitting on their carpet the whole time and a guy sang and there was this really high pitched (annoying) harmonic thing going on that was giving me a headache. The concert was an hour and a half!!! It was really interesting for the first 15 minutes but after that I got bored.  I'm not trying to be rude--like i said I know nothing about the Indian culture.  Let's just say Brandon will be calling me before he buys anymore "concert" tickets. I'm kidding..........next time he'll just have to take his Dad or something!

Our new toys....

I am the proud new owner of an ipod touch.  I wasn't the one that bought it.......my sweet hubby bought one for me.  Well he got it for free because he decided that he wanted a new desktop computer.  So I mistakenly (wink wink) told him about the deal UVU was having.  Ever since school started they had a deal that if you buy an imac than you get a free ipod and printer. If you know Brandon, you know that if he sees something that he really wants he buys it. So he came to the school to have some lunch with me and I was telling him about the deal and so he goes over to the bookstore and buys this lovely imac 15 minutes later.

So now we have a Mac computer and haven't the slightest idea how to use it.  Did you know the mouse does not have a right clicker......so how in the world do you cut, copy, and paste you might ask....well i still haven't figured that one out so let me know if you know. I also can't figure out why in the world anyone would need such a huge computer.  I mean this thing is as big as our tv. (our tv is quite small for a tv....like a 20 incher....and that is how big our screen for the computer is.) Oh, and i forgot to mention the computer has a remote. I thought I was pretty caught up on technology but apparently I'm not.  Anyways, I really love the ipod, although I was only asking for one of those shuffle ipods so that i could listen to it at the gym---now i have an ipod touch with music, videos, pic and the Internet---I'm definitely not taking this thing to the gym! I'm still trying to figure everything out but so far it is probably the coolest thing I own and the most technical!

Happy Birthday Hannah!!! Chapter 1

We celebrated Hannah's 1st Birthday today with the Moore side of the family! Her birthday isn't until the 13th but we decided today would be a great day to celebrate while we had most the family together! We will be having another celebration on her birthday with the Weight side of the family...so stay tuned for chapter 2!

It has been quite the year! I can't believe that my baby is turning 1! It is incredible how the time flies! It seems like just yesterday we were going to the hospital to have her and now she is practically a toddler! She has been such a blessing in our lives and I am so greatful that I have the opportunity to be a mom and care for such a wonderful child! She is so smart and it is so fun to watch her grow! I love her so much!
