It sure is nice to have a big sister who will take you outside in the first snow of the year.

One of the fun things about this temporary assignment is being exposed to some very fancy place settings.

Sister Lemon, from around the corner, gave Mary a very fancy rose. Mary asked me to snap a picture, and we just couldn't figure out how to get a nice background. I wanted to blur the background to make the flower stand out, but i just wasn't overly thrilled with any of them.

The commute of the job in SLC is killing my blog time. I apologize to my loyal readers - only until March and then I should be able to be a more dedicated blogger.

So anyways -- here's another Thomas adventure. The neighbors across the street hired a group of guys to tear out a tree and some fence with some fancy equipment. When you're almost two, there is nothing cooler than watching big trucks rip stuff out of the ground.

 

 

 

 

Anna's Relections Contest Photo

Anna wanted to enter the Photography category of this year's reflections contest. We took a drive over to Logan and let her shoot a bunch of pictures. We talked about focal length, and apeture, and ISO, and composition. Then she went off mostly on her own to snap some pictures.

We were in the process of picking a few of her favorites to enter when MaryElla informed us that we would only be allowed to enter one picture. So instead of picking just one, we made a collage of four of them.

We should find out in the next couple of weeks if she won.
