My son's first comic

My son decided to draw up a comic book and asked if I could publish it on the internet so everyone could see it. I'm pretty sure he's expecting some residuals from this publication...hopefully, a comic book publisher will stumble across my blog and bring my boys dream to fruition. In the meantime, enjoy.

The book is entitled, "Kokway" (pronounced Koh-Kway...).

On the cover we see our hero, "Den" and the ghost he is fighting. At the bottom it reads, "The wars of the Ghost".

Page 1

The ghost is saying, "I will kill him now!!!"

Den is walking on the hills.

He looks up at an old rickety building.

Page 2

He says, "Oh, my gosh".

Den goes in the building. We see books above him.

In the front room, he sees a spider with 8 eyes, a skull on a shelf, and a long hallway.

Page 3

The ghost laughs and says, "he is coming now"....

Page 4

Den sees the ghost and screams.

He says, "HIYA" and karate chops the ghost with a sword.

The ghost is dead.

Page 5

Den leaves the rickety building and says, "finally".

The end.

the Luck of the Irish...

Freelance has been a little slow lately, if either one of the two people who regularly visit my blog ever have a need for a Flash animator, don't hesitate to drop me a line.
I did finish a quicky freelance job recently that required some Leprechaun designs...luckily for me, it was a paying job.

Sorry for the watermarking, but I think the images are still readible.

More golfin'

If anyone uses iGoogle, you may recognize the purpose of these drawings. They're eventually going to be backgrounds for a customized iGoogle homepage.

golfin'

Omaha has as many golf courses as it has steak houses...at least thats my obsvervation. Theoritically, you could eat and golf in a different location every day of the year. I've played on a few of the courses around town and I've discovered a common thread among all of them...I'm lousy at golf.

rabbits again

I discovered a small family of bunnies in my front yard yesterday. One baby darted out just as I passed by with my mower. Fortunately, he escaped into my garage unharmed. To avoid any chance of creating rabbit stew, I plucked the remaining 7 bunnies from their burrow and placed them safely in a small box while I finished my yard work. Afterwards, I returned the babies to their home and covered it with a thin layer of grass clippings.
Later in the day, I saw the momma just outside the hovel looking slightly bewildered. Perhaps confused about why her house had a new roof.

That kind of excitement requires a cartoon.
