met all the others at evelyn's place..then set off in a mini bus..
my bag was small compared to the rest of them..proud of my light packin..but adam beats me..he practically brought nth..
journey there was long..we played cards talked a bit n slept..the bus was quite small so my legs were pretty cramped up for hrs..
the bus uncle keep smokin every half n hr to keep himself awake n jing n i had to wake up every time to open the windows so we can get fresh air..
reached the jetty at 5.30am..was all dark..the driver left n the boat doesn't come till 8.30am so we roamed around played cards n slept a bit more till dawn
had breakfast at this small shop..roamed more..
found this dustbin full of maggots..totally gross..all wriggling..there was this raw drumstick inside covered with maggots too n there were wriggling so much it looks like the drumstick's alive..i took a pic..heh u can c if i upload it..
wasn't till 9.15 tt we left..boat ride was 2 n a half hrs long..at first everyone was 'the boat's so low'..'waaaa'..'look!'..then half hr later all sleepin le..then another hr later all snacking..lol
finally reached..checked into our lovely huts..jing n i shared a room..the toilet's big! n we had a balcony though no view..the only thing is no phone so ma fan..
1st activity rapid shooting..dunno y its called shooting..our boatman was pretty fun..he took us to a bit of adventure...our boat took 7 of us n its pretty heavy..cldn't really get the feel of gg through the rapids..the boatman drove into the parts with stronger current..then at one pt the current was so strong n too much water splashed in n we got stuck on a rock..so we all had to get off the boat..tt's when we were all grabbing each other tryin not to get washed off n jing's slippers slipped off n floated away..heehe..
on the way back the guys decided to throw adam overboard..the boatman stopped for us..in the end all 3 of them fell in..
back on land adam realised his wallet was gone..he smartly put his room key n wallet into his pocket during rapids when we all left it at the counter safe..he din managed to locate it since it's probably somewhere in the river..so we had to lend him money throughout..luckily most things have already been paid for..
BUFFET DINNER!!it was raining quite heavily n we din know if its still on..jing n i had to wrap ourselves in towel n run to jaafer's hut n climb in through the balcony cos the walkway's flooded..for the sake of buffet we made it to dinner..yes it was lovely..from appetizers to main meal to desserts to drinks..so much food!! i ate till i was so full..jing n justin cldn't get enough of the smoked salmon they practically took the whole thing..


every1 woke up late..hurried for BUFFET BREAKFAST..ah again lots of food..pancakes to cornflakes to fried rice to omelets to fried mee to porridege to toasts..
our poor guide waited for us for quite long b4 we were ready..set off for jungle trekkin n canopy walk..
he told us bout some trees on the way..its amazing how they differentiate the trees n the things trees can provide for us..managed to c some animals..black scorpion..i spotted a poisonous snake n the guide said its our lucky day..then pretty blue head bird..some chicken like thingy n carn remember the rest..only saw one leech on the way n no leech bites for us..canopy walk was quite scary its so high up n the thingy sways so much..it doesn't look stable..but no accidents yet..
lunch was across the river at the floatin restaurants..i get quite dizzy when the boat passes by n the waves rock the restaurant..
suppose to have some swimming thingy at the waterfall..but the counter said they made a mistake n its not in our package..we were too late anyway..they said we won't make it back b4 nitefalls when we wanted to pay to go..so we found an alternative swimming place..somewhere on the resort grounds 800m away..so says the signboard..
so in slippers we went n din know wad we were in for..it rained the nite b4 so the path was pretty damp n it was like trekkin again..n doing it in slippers sux big time..we skid a lot n my slippers n feet were all muddy..
tt's not all..the path was full of LEECHES!!
durin trekkin we were well prepared with salt n lighter n long socks n shoes..now..nth but slippers..we were so scared to the leeches we kept our pace fast n hopped our way to every boardwalk where we rest n check our legs for leeches..jaafer was the 1st victim..jing spotted the leech bet his toes..luckily we managed to pull it off b4 it started suckin..met this holland guy n his fren..he showed us his bloody leg from leech bite n said 'oh juz scratch it off'..we got even more freaked out but went on..it was the longest 800m ever..pretty fun actually..
the 'swimming area' is a bloody brown river..we were disgusted by it n the leeches so quickly headed back..met an angmoh on the way n she was pretty amused by us..then we met justin n adam on the way back cos they went to pei evelyn who was too tired to join us..they din realise bout the leeches n justin became victim no 2..he found a leech under his sandal strap n we all panicked n hurried back askin for salt or lighter from all the passerbys..they tht wad big thing happen then they saw leech bite only they 'chey'..lol
there was this uncle who told us cheekily tt the leeches r v naughty we better check our groins for them too..omg..cos of tt we get paranoid when we feel itch at our butt or thigh or anywhere on our bodies..
got our cameras n salt for the death of the leech..it was pretty interestin..salt on the leech causes it to release its bite n the blood it drank will all be spat out too...then it will struggle a while n
die..the guys roasted it with the lighter too n we created a new dish to b sent to thailand..
we tht show's over n returned to our rooms..
sandyah shouted n we all came out again..she's victim no 3..haha..she's damn funny..she was laughin at justin b4 tt n she was damn terrified bout it but still kana n din know..
ok this is a damn long entry..
no buffet dinner but we still wanted to eat at the restaurant..the bill came up to only a little over hundred though we had 7pple meal plus shared dessert..cheap cheap
jaafer sandyah jing n i crossed the river to get satay for supper(we're how pig la)..but satay sold out tt nite so we hunt for beer n sprite..realised the beer monopoly is the restaurant..guess how much it cost per can..17RM!!!like wth!!tt's more than my main course dinner know..we got 6cans in total..102RM..bout the cost of our dinner..lol
i wanted to get baron's strong brew..so we can get lesser cans..but they din have tt..heh
played bridge n drank..talked a bit too..tt was a pretty crazy nite..
we din go c the luminous mushrooms though..it rained again..sad..


jing n i woke up on time..packed everything n went to wake the rest up..we left for buffet breakfast when we got too hungry to wait..then met the guide for caving..more like trekkin..same muddy paths n lesser leeches but still there..found one on my shoe n pulled it off..was slimy n gooey..saw a tree frog..the bright green one..it dove into the mud trying to hide from us..so cute..din get to take a pic though
caving was short but loads of fun..challenging..like boldering a bit n squeeze through tiny gaps n look at lots of cute bats hanging on the celling..the water running through was fresh n clean too..n u can see the power of roots of trees..they grow through the rocks la..
then we went to visit the natives..tried the blow pipe they use for hunting..everything is from trees la..damn cool..n they got sandpaper leaf..n glue n poison n everything..they showed us how to make fire too..
went back late..checked out late..this time is road trip direct from taman nergara..bumpy ride..cld hardly sleep..stopped over at kfc for lunch..did a v. adam thing n knocked over my drink all over my lap..luckily got change..
later stopped petrol kiosk n bought lots of food again..evelyn was damn amused by the tongkat ali drink n the female version called sth fatimah..she bought both to keep i think..
back at 1am plus..cab fare not cheap..

so v tired due to floorball..finally it went well i think..ended early even though we added a team last min..then though got unfair teams like combined so3 but luckily no protests..i think my class did well..guys were amazing from the 1st match...then held up against najad ian n chin's team till the v last min tough luck then lost 0-1..the girls had an amazing play of 8-0...hahha power siah..but match against 6k was tough luck..the pressure drove our formation haywire..lost 1-2..in the end we got both 3rds..not bad if u ask me..n my legs so suan..
