Back frm VS investiture.In cuz house now.We were in a rush today.We (4 of us) intended to leave by 1040 latest but we left when it was almost 11.Thought we would be late.The 3 of them were wearing new uniform except me but i don't mind.we had a sec4prefect to guide 4 of us around.They had a nice band performance,rock n roll explosion.Then they(the prefects and the sec3s,4s of vs)sang their skool song.Haven't seen such enthusiastic singing.Their song is manymany times more grand than ours.Then they started cheering n climbing on each other.it was real funny.they're really united and that's really nice.The prefect in charge of us was kinda poor thing.Think he was pressurized.He kept running to get our food n drinks refills n tried making conversation with us asking bout our skool(i didn't know the ans.pretended i didnt hear.*grin)Dani wld have enjoyed herself there.he brought us around the skool.the classes kept popping their heads out towards us,some waved.I didn't know how2get home/cousins house so i waited at the study area for my cuz.While my friends went back to skool n left me in vs(they left their bags in skool).Even though they all left he still stood around with me for quite a while.It was real awkward cos everyone passing by kept looking at us,make comments + give stupid smile n his friends on top kept on signalling.friendly ppl..Well it was nice of him.Told him not to bother wait since his skool had ended n my friends were gone but he said it was ok cos skool had ended n he didn't have anything on.then we waited n waited until my cuz appeared n gave me some instructions.so the nice guy walked me out of the skool and waited with me.Kept asking him to go back but he said that he was pretty free.(think he's in track).So we just chatted until the car arrived.He then started walking back only when the car drove off...He so knows his manners...=)

Common test over...over=) ( the common tests was pretty ok ..haha) today is meant for doing nothing...cin's gone crazy over the drums...of cos she has a motive. I get to skip loads of lessons on thursday. think i'll leave around 1029...so precise. i'm not very sure how to get there u c...Oops i jus dropped a strawberry on to the keyboard...oh ya..the johor thing sounds sooo good... can't wait to go shop for all the stuff... badadingbadaboom (quoted frm jr)...

Went to watch 'Hot Chick' today... it was crude but good...had a real good laugh ( best comedy ever)...I know we're in the midst of the common test but we need to de stress at times right...The first part was so lame! The girl got a shock cos she got a dick n the guy got a shock cos he's disappeared..that was soo lame. And after that i had nothing to do..just sat around at heeren...n kill time. then i went for phy tuition late , with cin. Just realised human reflexes are slow...it's bout 0.3 and money dropping is bout 0.16...u probably don't get what i'm saying but nvm.I just had to type it. Dani? u there? yea anyw i wanted to tell u i'll never get out of my spaz 'thing' cos i was like that since young.haha. My mum was telling me iwhen we were staying in LA it was pretty remote area. It's a long way to the malls.Yea n so i didn want to walk until my mum bought me this balloon.After that i wanted to walk cos i wanted to see the balloon float in the air. =) 2nd case was in the tokyo airport. transit flight. I made my mum buy me this us$10 ramen. I insisted on it n halfway i had stomache n needed to go toilet.Going to the toilet means throwing away the ramen but anyway i insisted on going.What a waste...I was taking my own sweet time in the toilet n the plane was like last call.Even though my mum hurried me, i refused to.I insisted to use the toilet slowly....haha

Having common test this few days..just finished el n e math..tomorrow there's cl n chem. I'm supposed to be studying...but here i m...I'm having a break =). The article make me sound so enthusiastic bout bioinformatics...Firstly i didn't go fot the hol programme...when the reporter asked what i did during the programme, thought i was going to die.haha. but anyway i still managed to crap up something. I was forced to answer that biology was my passion *grinning away (i had to fake almost the whole interview)... I don't like it...I scored not very well for the bio test. Know what? cin we don't look alright...we look fatter vertically cos they stretched the video images..and smile crook of cos lar...I keep on forgetting to smile n the lady kept on reminding me to smile when i was almost dead...(and jamie ko the mole was unnoticeable. u paranoid lar)the press people are so scary...They just sorta form a personality for u.. u get wat i mean? got to memorize the chinese stuff...bye

Secondary school students take part in Junior Biohackathon

120 secondary school students had the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research and interact with international scientists.
They took part in the first ever Junior Biohackathon held in Singapore as part of an annual event for scientists and researchers in bio-informatics.
15-year-old Laureen Wang, a student of Crescent Girls' School, has never missed any holiday programme or after-school session on bioinformatics.
She seized the opportunity to take part in a two-day programme.
Students not only carried out research on the latest developments in bio-informatics, but also did hands-on research in gene sequencing and created applications that could contribute to the Life Science fraternity.
Laureen said: "We've two scientists to come down and talk to us about very interesting subject, for example, cloning and we definitely gain a lot more knowledge. We're also asked to do a project during this two days about cloning a disease."
Mrs Ng Ai Lin, Superintendent of School Cluster South 2, said: "We hope to really stimulate interest in students in the bio-informatics area so that ultimately we can nurture some potential scientists in Singapore which can take on as a career."
The students are looking forward to a similar programme that will take place during the school holidays in June.

doubt we can accomplish much without junior...gonna be hard...Doubt he replied our msg to him. i really don't think i'll do well for this common test. I can't study finish everything...And i reach home about 6 something everyday...I didn't study yesterday ( idon't mind not studying but i've got his guilty feeling somewhere)...so dead...we've got to go down to orchard parade hotel tomorrow.hope mr gary tan would supply us with meals since we're saving his money on transport...=) i've got this nice pair of blue addidas slippers yesterday...=) and nobody seems to know when the vs investiture is...well i'll know tomorrow. this MIT thing is getting dry. I don't really like bio and i don't get the applescript...just makes me n my eyes go crazy.haha.the johor educational trip looks not at all but i don't know whether to go...Oh ya, we're going healthy.had strawberries. Less chocolates but we still eat that everyday. Can be bothered to count the calories...it's so stressing...Think food is just so good so just eat all u want.like what jamie said, what day you might just become toothless n u won't be able to eat. this reminds me, jamie the lame started going real real crazy...she was telling all of us that she's sexy!(and all the stuff)...it was a pretty good laugh=) We're practically laughing away almost every single lesson...gonna try studying...Gonna wake up early tomorrow n go holland v or macs for breakfast haha...i am so busy

k we having break now..the rest of them went to get some food..my hair from so long to so short..very cooling..hahah..wash hair a bit weird cos like nth much to wash..got new pics coming up..but have to wait till we're free to go put it up..oh ants attacked our class..i think cos we left bits of food behind..managed to fix the prob though..scotch taped up the gaps in bet. the temporary classroom..haha..i i killed all the evil ants..bwahahhaha..have no idea wad dani wrote in her blog..now her life has become far too complicated 4 us to understand..haiz..gonna b very busy these days..gonna have mit conference at orchard hotel then followed by common tests the days after..hope i dun flunk them..haha..i need to go 4 chinese remedial..the teacher failed me 4 the compre..9/30..haha..wad kinda marks is tt..1st time in my life have to go 4 remedial..yesterday was so tiring..did some programming with applescript..laureen n i stare at the comp screen trying to figure the stuff out till our eyes carn take it..then we went crazy..ahha..did eye relaxation exercise..sing lame songs..n other stupid stuff..not much food today..only strawberries n chocolates..we stored up bess's oreos for next time..k lesson's starting..ciao!

I'm behind schedule...suppose to study chinese n geog n do the e math weekend hw...Cin are u going to do the weekend hw? i don't feel like doing...eh altogether don't do leh...yawing away non-stop. I went to cut hair after tuition. Cin when are you going to cut... You prorastinate frm jan to now...I didn't listen at all in tuition.was so sleepy.The class was real packed today...And Cin n Jamie, my class not bad la. Just don't know waht happened to them the last last week, all never come. My cousins adore jamie n cin =) They got a problem remembering cin's name but they were questioning me all dinner about them...i very lazy to type...i want to read my book.bye

re suppose to go SICC to bowl n swim today,in the new wing,..NOW) I want to go out they want to sleep.Anyway this yr chinese new yr not bad..had loads of fun...pure entertainment...=) hey n i just realised i'm related to a lot of totally smart ass-ed young people.i seriously need to be entertained almost all the time. Honestly i don't even know what to do nowadays when i go out. There's nothing much for me to get i guess...oh...i want to watch a movie. Haven't watched for donkey yrs.Probably go with eeliphant n her lot on wed..this so nice. Didn't know the next wed is a holiday...Jamie u reading this? this so spaz. We were talking about the rowing boat 'theory' and the ocean liner crap. At night i dreamt that we were rowing some stupid wooden small boat in this big big scary fast flowing river where there were some big fish n whales. lucky for us we met into a ship (the one in anna n the king) and we got rescued. And we rowed n rowed until this big water place at the causeway. there's skool tomorrow...yuk.have been trying to console myself all wk. A day passes so fast (right?) then a yr is made up of 'fast passing days' then the next yr as well...and then i'll be out of this stupid skool =) isnt that nice?... 3.30pm...i'm bored...
