Christmas Eve

Celebrated Christmas eve at Full House, though NZX was super creepy, but the atmosphere of the place was nice, and we got our own corner on the outside balcony, so cosy~~

Well, I was a 'LITTLE' late when I got there, we were suppose to be there by 7pm but I was waiting for a certain someone as I was following her car and we ended up reaching there at 9pm!! everyone finished eating by the time we reached

Taken before I reach... I also wanna be in... T.T

I have no idea what or who's one is this but it definitely looks delicious *yum*

The Girls The Guys
We borrowed they're props to cam whore X)
So Christmas-sy~~
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8..... Santa didn't do 9, but the Santa was so adorable, hahaha

Car models!! *phew-weet!!*

After full house, we went over to curve for the countdown, and apparently they were going to have fireworks, but, it lasted less than a minute, and it couldn't be seen =.= and what's better? I was in the toilet when the clock struck 12am!! That's why I had to share toilet kisses through cubicles, aikz....

And people, next time, if you want to go curve, or anywhere else during celebrations, DO NOT ever pass by crowds that are spraying those stupid snow spray. Why? Because they're freaking annoying!! Don't think that you can go through it safely without getting sprayed as long as you're careful and don't get caught in the middle, these people actually catch you if you're still nice and dry and PURPOSELY spray on your face!! Curse that stupid dude and another guy/girl, dunno who is it, who sprayed on me, ish!! I was super pissed at the guy that I just shouted at him.... Ok la, not exactly shout, but I made a really angry, frustrated grunting noise...

Oh well, but overall the whole night was pretty fun though, hehe... Glad I could meet up with you guys again ^^ Love you guys, Merry Belated Christmas and a Happy Beearlied New Year!!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Merry Christmas!!!! Hmmm, it's Christmas and I'm stuck at home online-ing..... Playing facebook games and trying to download maple story, but it's taking forever.

Went out with high school mates yesterday for Christmas Eve, missed u guys so much~~~ And I celebrated the Christmas countdown in the toilet with my momzy, hahaha!! Shared toilet flying kisses through the cubicles, what a way to start Christmas X) what to do, aikz.... we should have waited a little longer before we went. I shall upload pics of the night when it's uploaded by friends, didn't bring my own camera, heheh....

Not much events for today, parents having a wedding dinner tonight, so I'm stuck with my bro =) Tomorrow I'll be having dinner with college mates, at my darling's place, hehe, can't wait~~

I didn't get much presents, only from my dad. My bro.... Well, I can consider the scrump plush as a present, and my mom, she bought me clothes though, but it's more of an unofficial present as well.

Shall continue playing facebook games, hehe

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

It's Finally Over...... FINALLY!!!!!! (but temporarily)

I feel so free~~~ tomorrow's the last day of class for this semester, ahahahhahahaha!!!!!! Can't wait!!! My holiday, sweet sweet holiday, how I long for you, crave for you, and your finally here!!! I love you so much, muax muax muax muax!!!! Huggies~~~

But...... We're still given project for the holidays =.= what the ****!! Give us a break can't you.... and what's worst? It's a group project, so we have to 'meet up' with all the group members to discuss and do, in other words, WE CAN'T STAY HOME AND ENJOY OUR HOLZ!!! I hate my course...... aihz, just let us rest. It's only 3 weeks, let us go, please..... T.T

Oh well, nothing much I can do. Anyhow, updates!! Just finished my project and presentation today, got like serious 'zha-ing' from my lecturers (I guess that's what they like to do, they find tiny little stuff about our work to zha about, even those we find good kena zha, what la....). And guess what, they complimented on the things that I did by accident, with totally, utterly no intention, it's just a so-happen thing. Oh gosh.... can't you compliment on the things that I put effort in T.T Never mind, I shall take it with an open mind and improve. Just wait, you shall see me rise in my next project, muahahahaha!!

Other than that, nothing much happened, just my mundane, mediocre lifestyle, as I say, I don't have a life anymore, I'm like a super boring person. I don't care, I'm soooooo hanging out this holz, hehehe..... And it's Christmas ^^ oh, did I mention that I just adore the Christmas deco at 1 utama? Yea, I do. I just have a thing for European architecture, and it really suits the Christmas atmosphere, so warm~~ I haven visited the deco at the other malls, but for now, I'm in love with the 1u one.

Hmm, our college is having some Christmas celebration for orphanage students tomorrow, so we'll be having activities and games with them, and not forgetting ice-cream session!! Ice-cream ♥ but it's Walls ice-cream only though, haha!! Well, better than nothing.

Okay, it's getting late, tata~~ Still have one last day of class tomorrow ><

Waiting........

Bored, waiting for my college's basketball competition, and surprisingly a lot of people I know are joining O.o wow.... didn't expect that, haha!!

My darling, classmates and sc mates are all joining, hmmm..... I shall go and support =D but even trying to be supportive has a price to pay, that is to wait for 4 hours with absolutely NOTHING TO DO!!!!! sien giler~~~ I'm already half asleep T.T

Never mind, I shall update my dead blog.... Lets see, I had 2 datelines/presentations last week, new projects this week, a whole month's worth of work before my christmas break begins, so what's new?? Technically, nothing..... I guess you guys have been hearing this for like, a gazillion times already =P

Can't wait for Christmas break, seriously.... I can then go shopping!!!! akakakaka, I miss shopping, and when I say shop I mean really shop, like, buy stuff kind of shop, not window shopping shop, but have to start saving money now @~@

Oh yea, I just had my prom around 3 weeks ago =D didn't have time to update about it, hmm..... Just go to facebook and view the pics if you guys want to see, or go to kbusc.blogspot.com if you want to read about it, I don't think I'll be updating about it, maybe when I'm free and still remember and have the mood XD

NOOOOO!! my eyes ae shutting T.T cannot!! So sleepy...... I don't know what else are there to update about, lets see...... oh, it was Dwayne's birthday yesterday and William's 21st birthday on Sunday, Happy Birthday guys!!! Hope you guys enjoyed it, and thank you William (and parents) for the nice dinner, I was seriously expecting to go to your house only, mana tau, nice restaurant, haha!!

Okay, I guess that's all..... and peeps, remember to make your December free yea!!! I shall cari you all keluar makan and hang and shop!! hehehe ^^ girls, start saving~~~

Urgh.....

Oh gosh, another hectic weekend, 2 presentations and submissions next week T.T *cry*

Tired of thinking about my designs, but thank goodness I finally came up with one ( don't know if it's good enough, but I don't have anymore time to waste), after days and days of stressing out, and after getting lectured by the lecturer..... Yea, I kena from her just because I couldn't come up with an 'interesting' structure =.= I'm already having sleepless nights ok!! Sorry that I'm having a mental block, what do you want me to do!!! Gosh........ You're suppose to be there to assist us, and not trash all our designs just because you don't like them..... Many of us got cakap by her already, she thinks that we only have her work to do and expects us to use all of our time for it.... She even have the guts to say "last year ah, we expect students to come up research and a model in just one day, this year we very good di, only ask for research, but you all still haven finish" we don't even understand what @!$#^& are you talking about in class, you yourself say one thing this moment, and another the next, and get confused over your own words, and expects us to know what you want =.= Moreover everyone has their own way of doing things okay, so don't go telling how to do our work, as long as we meet the requirements, just leave us alone!!! I really hope I'm not getting you again for my next project......

Aikz, I'm even dreaming bout my work when I sleep!! Not once, not twice, but several times!!!! This is bad..... not only are my projects haunting my days, it's even haunting me when i sleep T.T shooooo!! Go away!! I want back my sweet dreams, no more dreams about you......

Whoever designed the module for my course, is a total no life person. All that's going on in his/her life is work work work, most probably their schedule will look something like this:

wake up - breakfast - work - toilet break- work - lunch - work - tea- work - toilet break - work - dinner - work - sleep

=.= what lifeless people, in the end design a module to torture us students..... just imagine, the lecturer can even come telling you "some nights, you might not be able to sleep, but that's very normal, it's all part of the course" %#@^&!#!!!!! So the course is more important than the student's health?!?!?! Science says that teenagers should have at least 8 hours of sleep EVERY NIGHT!!! Not every week/month/year!!! They seriously want us to die early, their trying to tell us that life is too cruel, so their doing us a favor by shortening it.... Oh well, after all there are so many IAD students, one or two less won't make a difference to them.... ish!! Someone remind me why did I take this course in the first place.....

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

Can't Wait!!

Prom is coming!! wee~~~ just 3 more days!!! ahhhhhhhhhh!!

All I can think of now is prom, and shopping!! I haven got my clutch yet T.T worst come to worst I'll just use back my old one..... But I don't like!! So mismatched, but no choice.... hopefully I'll find one in this 2 days =)

In prom mood, no mood to do assignments also, haha!! I'm foreseeing a whole pile of work waiting for me right after prom, that time I'm seriously going to suffer, nooooooo!! But as it is, even if I do them now, I'll still be having a lot of work, cause it doesn't stop coming..... Oh whatever, I'll do I'll do, minus-ing 0.01mm from the pile is better than nothing X)

Tata~~

3 days, 3 days, 3 days~~

There are definitely still lots of room for improvements, but whatever, like we care for now, the main thing is that we're done with it, and it's one of the first projects for our degree, so what is there to complain? It's well done to all of us!!

Make Over

I got a free make over today, thanks to my mom for buying some skin care products..... And they took a picture for me too!! Ta-dah~~

Spokesmodel for Olay!! XD I wish.....

I look so flawless~~ hahaha, kena photoshop already, that's why =P I was so pai seh to snap that picture, it wasn't enclosed and there were people walking around and they could see you!! So malu..... And somehow I just feel that I look terrible with make up, aikz..... they applied really thick for me some more, canot tahan. And I couldn't stand people doing make up for me (not like I can do it myself, I'll end up with panda eyes @~@), I don't know where to look, and my eyes kept watering when he was applying the eyeliner for me, guess my eyes get irritated easily.... But it's free, so I just did for the fun of it, at least now I know that thick make up is sooooo not me. I think I'll stick to being natural =)

I also got a free manicure by the way, and that I really enjoyed, haha!! My nails are now shiny~~ and she helped me groom my nails as well, though not really professional, but it's still ok. I could get used to this XD and they used O.P.I!! It's like channel for nail polish. Okay, there definitely are higher class ones, but for my standard, yea, it's really high.

I want a professional manicure!! But, it's soooo not worth the cost T.T most shops would charge around RM30-40 for it, and manicures only last for, say, what, 2-3days? Or the most 4-5days, and then you have to take them off to prevent your nails from turning yellow. So unless if it's cheap or if I'm having a really special event (like maybe my wedding), if not I don't think I'll ever be getting one =S

P.S. And also, thanks again bibi for another gift, that's 2 in a week, hehe

Ghosty the baby ghost ^^

Froggie ♥

Thank You bibi for the cute little frog you gave me, so adorable~~~ I keep wanting to bag it with me and bring it to college, specially cause it fits so nicely into my bag. But, worried it got dirty, so I refrained myself from doing so.....

Adorable froggie ♥
It's called Grayboff by the way, written on the tag, not by me ^^

And also, thanks for tricking me that it was sold off and you got me the tiger instead =.= in the end blamed me for being disappointed in you because I thought you couldn't get me the frog. Well, don't blame me dear, you promised, and I really liked it *puppy eyes*

But no matter what, I still love you ♥ Thanks for getting it for me, I really really love it ^^

Muax muax!! Me love you~~

Sucking the Life Out of Me

I just realised that my post are getting more and more boring..... no more lengthy pictures to view and no more interesting story, just my mediocre lifestyle that I don't think many are interested in..... erm, life of an art student? Yea, I'll use that excuse......

I feel so couped up at home, no more shopping outings or yum cha session with my girlfriends, I miss you gals T.T Now it's projects after projects, and for the past 2 days (which are sat & sun) I was at my friend's house with my group doing projects...... Is this what it means to be an art student? No more life of our own? Everything is about work work work?? Nooooooo..... this can't be happening.....

Argh!!! I guess everyone is tired of reading about all my complains and fretting, but what else can I do T.T I really loath the amount of projects they lay on us. I mean, 3 ongoing projects? Whereby 2 of them are group projects, and we have to alternate between them because it's 2 totally different groups, and with only 1 month to complete all 3? This is insane.....

I really need to socialize more...... I'm becoming more and more anti-social by the day, I guess many are already feeling it. I don't enjoy crowds like I used to anymore, I prefer being with just my own click, where I could be really carefree and let myself go, or maybe just stone... I guess I'm just too tired to keep putting up a facade. It's enough that I'm being controlled by work, not my friends too......

If you guys ever catch me being quiet or obnoxious, pardon me, I'm just tired =)

P.S. anyone up for yum cha during weekend nights?? Call me kayz, I'm dying to have a simple outing =P

Blues....

Just a short post......

College is in 2 days, and I'm not done with my work, this is bad. I have to go to college for an event rehearsal tomorrow, and it's a Saturday, double bad...... Maybe I should just go get a good rest and enjoy my sleep.

Good Night~~

New Camera

Technically, it's not exactly 'My' camera, my bro bought it and my mom helped subsidised, so in a way it belongs to my bro. But guess what, it's going to be abandoned most of the time, which means, I, get to use it =D

Sounds odd doesn't it? why would my bro buy a camera and abandon it after that, wouldn't he rather not buy it then? Well, it's actually because he needs a camera to travel when his company sends him overseas for visiting. He has his own DSLR but it's a little too big to carry around, and the Sony compact cam we're having is pretty dated (it's a T30, one of the very early generation of the T series). And somehow, he managed to convince my mom to buy a new cam (maybe because he was paying for it). So, on the very next day, we went and bought it!!

It's a Canon Power Shot G11, awesome camera if you ask me. Looks like a DSLR, feels like a DSLR, functions like one too, but the size of a compact cam (an over sized one though). It's the perfect cam for noobs like me to learn how to operate a DSLR, everything is just a turn away, no hassle of pressing buttons and turning numerous dials =D and it's small~~ that's what I love about it, I could fit it into my bag!!

It also has video shooting and the function is awesome~~ It's not like my old cam where it has to keep focusing constantly (freakishly annoying....) and the picture turned out pretty good =D I haven fully tested it yet though, I just did a shot around my room, and it seems to work well, so, I'm not complaining....

Oh well, what is there to complain, I indirectly got a new camera!! And I didn't have to go through the hassle of bugging my parents to do so. So, it's a total WIN situation!! ^^

HTML Codes

Being forced to learn how to read HTML codes, succeeded in changing the blog's layout (not mine, another blog), but I have no idea what I did......

Until now I still have no idea what all the codes mean. All I know is to locate what I need and change it, and even so I'll be needing the help from my best pal google to do the job @~@

Hmmm........ But at least I got it right? Yea, guess I do deserve credit for that. Hahaha!! At least I still get the job done kayz, and not ruin the whole site.

Accomplishment!!! That's how I felt when I succeeded in changing the layout, specially after going through numerous trial and errors and eventually figuring it out, being able to finally stop cracking my head. Yea, it's nice.

Hehehe~~~ I'm just being random now, don't mind me XD

New Lappie....... Again!!!!

Hehehe~~~ I got another new com, with much better specs!!! =D

My previous Studio XPS 16 had lots of issues with hanging and over heating, so my bro helped contact Dell to notify them of the problem. At first all they did were change the parts for my com, motherboard, heat sink, fan, charger..... and they changed it twice and yet it still doesn't work.... So, as the problem still persist, they changed the whole system for me!!!! Muahahahaha!!! Thus, my new com ^^

Hahahaha, I love dell sooooo much!! I got a com with much better specs. They upgraded my graphic card, memory, ram, processor..... basically everything!!! hehehehe, so I got a brand new better computer, and it's FREE!!!!! ahahahhahaha~~~~

Can't stop laughing now XD I'll just pray hard that this com works perfectly fine, with no hanging especially. My warranty is ending soon, so it better not spoil.....

Oh, by the way, did I mention that they haven collected my old XPS? Yeap, I'm having 2 coms right now!!! So for those of you who wants to have in-house CC, hehehe, come come, lets dota XD (I know what you're gonna ask, no, I don't play dota =P) Well, but it's for the mean time only, they'll be coming soon I guess, they're pretty efficient people. But I hope that they're not so efficient this time, then I'll have 2 lappies, hehehe~~~

Keeping my fingers crossed!!! (they won't collect the com..... My new com won't have problems..... they won't collect the com...... My new com won't have problems.....)

Dreading.....

College is starting again soon, in about, what, 1 and a half day?? Which means it's the end of my 3 and a half months break, and the beginning of a new pile of assignments waiting for me with their evil laughter, help me.....

Some people are really hyped about it, they find holidays a bore, but for me, it beats the tremendous amount of assignments I have to rush. The holidays was real relaxing, waking up whenever I want, doing whatever I feel like, not having to be bounded by work, it feels so free, but I guess life just isn't that perfect huh?

Oh well, like it or not, I'm going back to college. I've decided on Interior Architecture Design. Actually, even up till now, I really have no idea which would do me more good, Graphic Design, or IAD? Both has it's advantages and disadvantages. But I came up with the conclusion that they're both design, what I need now is the basic concept of it, so it doesn't really matter which one I opt for, what's most important is to develop my design skills, I could always switch when I get out to work. And guess what, IAD would also allow me to decorate my own house in the future!! (I'm just trying to comfort myself, shhh!!)

College..... ugh, dreading.......

The Life & Times of a Cashier

Next time whenever you walk into a store and pay at the cashier, please DO smile at them, they're job isn't as easy as you think......... but what if they don't smile back? err..... I don't know...... but chances are they will? heheh.....

Well, being a cashier for just a day gives you the insights to their life, maybe not fully, but partially is more than enough. It really ticks you off when those customers don't even bother looking at you, or don't smile when you give them the "thank you" with a polite smile........ Worst of all are those trying to act rich and give you that rich, snobbish face, ish.... sooooo wanna slap them.....

Hahaha!!! ok, I didn't really want to slap anyone, I'm just exaggerating, but there are such customers ok, but they didn't cause any problems, just weren't friendly.

Worked at Renaissance for the Estee lauder sales, and apparently it's only by invitation, so outsiders were not allowed..... But even so, these people were camping at the hotel since 2am!!! (or earlier) the sales isn't in another 6 hours....... I'm a worker there and I had to be there at 5.30am and I'm complaining, but they're willing to wait.... aihz, shoppers..... or shall I call them Shopping Warriors.......

The line outside the ballroom, think that's all? no no no...... look below:

Line

more lines

and lines until the hotel's entrance!!
(I really admire the hotel for tolerating all these, and being so supportive....)

But, being a worker there has it's own advantages:
  1. We get first pick at the goodies =D without the crowd and all the snatching (I didn't have anything to buy though, I don't even use the products. Only got a couple of eye shadows for my mom. Maybe I should get orders from my aunt next time, heheh)
  2. We had awesome food!!! Both breakfast and lunch were provided, at the hotel's coffee house. And just on food alone, if you were to pay as a guest, would come up to Rm70++. So, it was really worth it ^^ By the way, did I mention that they were both buffets? Yea, they were, so it's all you can eat!!!
  3. Last but not least, we get paid~~ Not much, but the job was simple bagging job, and with all the benefits we get, yea, it's cool =D
Me, Jason and Bon were all working as cashier's assistant on that day, just had to help the cashier sort the merchandise and bag them for the customers. Tiring though, especially when they come with like 3-4 bags full worth of merchandise!! (bigger then your jusco/giant bags..... maybe the large jusco bag size, the really large one) The way they buy is as if these stuff are free..... and the total would come up to about.... RM3000? O.o I'd much rather buy a new laptop....

My cashier row. See the lady in the middle, the one looking down? She's my cashier...

Our tags

We reached there a little after 5am, and I didn't even slept that night, I was used to sleeping late T.T Anyhow, reached there, went up to the ballroom, *jeng~~* the whole line of que waiting outside, and I couldn't stop saying 'These people siao one ah!!" for the whole day.... So, we went inside, get to know our positions, get introduced to our cashier, and started shopping!! The items are really cheap, if you use the products. They had products from Estee Lauder, M.A.C., Origins, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Clinique..... lots more. I could say all of them had more than 50% discount off, where a perfume would be around RM80-100+, make up RM30-70..... roughly around there. There are thing that cost more than RM100 as well, depending on the range and the set. But if I'm not mistaken almost all the items are less than RM200, with the cheapest at RM5, no wonder these people are crazy.......

Those are M.A.C. cosmetics going for RM72 for a pack of 3, eye/lip liner, eye shadow and lipstick (it varies, some comes with different stuff I think)

Estee Lauder, the middle one is nail polish, going for RM10

Hehe, us shopping ^^ I couldn't decide which eye shadow to get for my mom.....

The place before it's being crowd-filled

Had breakfast after that *yum*, 5 star breakfast, hehehe~~ It's been awhile since I had breakfast, at such hour of the day some more, 6.30am...... I'm supposed to still be asleep!! Anyhow, they had fried rice, sausages, ham, potato, scrambled eggs, etc. Mmmm *smack* *lick lips* ^^

Having breakfast =D

Our table after we finished eating, squeaky clean~~ *sparkle*

Went back to standby after eating, the sales started around 7.30am. We waited for quite some time before the first customer came to pay, and when they came, *stare* ahahahaha!! I guess it was a really awkward moment for them!! XD All 64 pairs of eyes staring back at them, wondering which counter they'll go to. (a note to all you shoppers out there: if you do not want to be stared at during a warehouse sale, never, I repeat, NEVER be the first customer to pay for the day) Well, you can't blame us, we had nothing to do, and we were all anticipating for the first customer to come out!!

The que line for the customers. I can see a customer sitting there sorting stuff, but she wasn't the only one, many others did the same, they just grab everything in sight and sort out after that, throwing out stuff they don't want =.=

After a few hours, I began to fully understand why those Shopping Warriors are willing to camp outside and wait for it to start, because if you are not amongst the first customers, you won't get what you want!! I could see counters clearing up at 10am, a mere 2 hours later. And it was like 2 more hours to lunch, 5 more hours to closing! I expected it to clear off during lunch, not after 2 hours of opening....

The crowd!!

Haha!! The guy: 'I see my picture being taken!!'

Work work work, then went for lunch after that. The first batch went at 12.15pm, and my batch went at 1pm. Thank goodness my baby and bon were working in the same row as me, as well as 1 of Jason's cousin, so we got to go together!! If we got separated, aikz..... lunch would be a boring one..... But, hehehe, as I've said, thank goodness XD Another 5 star meal. They had briyani, lots of sotong and prawn, macaroni, salad bar (with shrimp, yum~~), etc. Oh, they even have ice kacang!! But it was so so only, not enough taste @~@

Lunch voucher, see the price, RM45++!!

Went back to work, but nothing much to do already, just stand there and wait for customers to come. And my counter, what sad case, aihz..... No one would come to my counter. Mine was the second counter for the row and somehow, people would tend to either go to the first counter, which is before us (understandable) or the third counter!! Why would they skip our counter and go to the next?? Somehow my counter was like some blind spot or so, especially when there are customers at the first counter, it sort of blocks off the view. No one would notice it unless u wave at them, and even so sometimes they're too engrossed with their items that they don't notice.

And not to mention my row was the last one all the way to the end, so when the people come out, they would only notice the middle rows, not us. So my row was like.... *crik crik, crickets singing, newspaper flies pass~~* My colleagues and I ended up playing there, trying to wave every time we see customers coming out to prove that our feng shui was bad. End up, they look at us, stare stare stare, then walk to the middle row =.= (Point Proved)

So, we just standby and serve a few customers that somehow decided to come to our row, and most importantly MY COUNTER. Then, at 3pm, hehehehehe~~~ 'sau dong', time to close counter and pack up =D My counter's total came up to 48k (considered little.... psst, did I mention that my cashier was kind of lazy as well? she was sick also, so end up, curi ayam non stop, go toilet also longer than me, lunch also longer, then sometimes don't bother waving at customers to come also. Hear can pack up only, fast fast pack, some of the other counters still working one, aikz....) My baby's was 98k, his cousin's 60+k, and Bon's 75k.... imagine the total profit the company earned just for that day O.o millions......

Bon's total, see the very last amount? make that 76k =)

Oh well, great experience as a cashier, hahaha, at least I know what it's like now (not forgetting the free food~~). But in a way, it was quite fun working for the event also, some of the colleagues very 'sam pat', which is what makes it fun, hahaha!! Non stop gossiping about the customers. but it's not our fault, there are people losing credit cards, car keys, even kids!!! gosh, they're crazy when they shop, forgetting everything else, all they know how to do is *door opens* CHARGE!! Thus, the title 'Shopping Warrior'. Oh oh, and there's also a customer, buying a total of RM5700, and paying in cash!!! Brought out stacks and stacks of money, and most probably there's still a huge stack in his/her pocket. haha!!

*Picture credits to Bon, thanks for supplying me with the pics, if not this would turn out to be one long, boring, picture-less post. You should have passed the cam to us, then we could have taken your pic as well. =D

Quotes

My heart has long been gone, it is no longer with me. It has found a new home that could provide it with more happiness, giving it shelter, warmth and comfort, filling it with love that is unconditional and pure.

I believe that it is well taken care of, I need not worry, it will be safe......

Publish Asia 2010

Hmmm....... MIA for the whole week, worked at Shangri-La for 3 day, freakishly exhausting, needed more than 12 hours of sleep to recover @~@

It was a publishing conference organized by WAN-IFRA, called Publish Asia 2010. I was supposed to be employed as an usherer for the event, but ended up doing work that is more for the event crew, registration, packing, ushering, receptionist, runner, award carrier (what ever you call them, don't know the name XP), etc. We had to be there at 7am and leave at round..... 8pm, 11pm and 7pm, hahaha, it fluctuates~~ but basically, we only had around 3-4 hours of sleep each night, had to wake up early and rush to the lrt station, and walk for another 5-10 minutes to the hotel, sad......

The job scope was pretty simple actually, but boring..... On the first day, I had to sit at the reception staring at 4 walls with nothing to do, besides picking up the pen and paper to doodle. The rest of them were working downstairs and I was left upstairs to rot, aikz..... thank goodness the lift was nearby, so I just took it down and look for other stuff to do and come back up to check in intervals. After that, I had to usher the delegates that were going on the plant tour to their bus as well. At first, when they told me "Plant Tour", the first thing that came to my mind was literally "PLANT" tour, and it kept me wondering why would they want to organize a plant tour? Moreover it was quite late, so how are they suppose to look at the plants? It was after that when I saw the title on the name list only did I realise it was a "Publishing Plant Tour" as in "FACTORY" tour, hahahaha!!!

And not forgetting, I had to run like mad on the first day as well, in heels!!!! gosh, I became some runner on that day, up down left right, all of them ended up laughing at me "when you see a girl running far far away arr, in heels some more, then you know who is it di!!" =.= zha dao......

Second day was a lot better, at least everything was moved downstairs so I didn't have to sit isolated again...... Morning was a little hectic, everyone started coming in to register and we had to rush at the registration counter. I was called to wrap presents for the Speakers after awhile, so I don't really know what happened after that, heheh, and, I got first hand at food!! We were wrapping inside the office, the place where they stash all the goodies for the speakers and us organizing crew. So, while I was in there, hehehe *evil grin*. But I didn't have much though, ate a couple of dim sum and continued working, but when I finished wrapping, the food was gone T.T so fast..... many didn't get to eat as well, aikz.....

There wasn't much to do later in the day, just sit around at the registration counter and work as a receptionist. It was until dinner when there was work again. Me and Kim Mei weren't suppose to stay for dinner actually, but they needed extra people. So, yea, we stayed, and of course we'll be getting OT as well. So, for the extra cash, tahan~~~

I worked back stage for dinner, I was suppose to just cue the dancers, but ended up bringing awards out on stage..... and the worst part was, I wasn't even dressed properly for it!! I was wearing the same thing I did on the first day (that was the only black set I have) and didn't bother bringing clothes to change because they told me that I didn't have to help out for the night, and I was wearing flats because my leg was hurting from the previous day, and now they are calling me to go on stage..... and worst of all, people actually recognize me on the next day!! And I'm still wearing the same outfit!!! This is embarrassing....... I should have just brought a change of clothes, aikz......

Third day, the most free day of all....... But the day with the most problems as well :S Not long after the day started, my superior came telling me that some registration list from the first day is missing and asked me to go find it!! Where do you expect me to look from, it's already 2 days ago O.o I just tried my best, looking through the whole room, going through a whole pile of trash paper, and even went asking the banquet staff, but no luck T.T so, we had to go through the whole list of survey forms and name cards to recover the list, aihz...... Then, later in the day, some other problems arose again, but it has nothing to do with me this time.... I don't really know the whole story though, just about some master list not suppose to go out at all, but I can't get someone to tell me the actual situation, so, never mind, I should just let it be.......

I had loads of fun for those 3 days though, my colleagues were awesome!! Really friendly people, and really helpful. We only knew each other for a few days but we were crapping and gossiping like mad X) even our boss was really nice. In a way, it was quite sad for me on the last day, I won't be able to work with them anymore, unless if we (so happen) end up working together again in the future, if not, I don't think I'll be seeing them again..... But, well, there's always facebook =D

Don't know when will I be getting my pay yet *scratch head*

P.S. sadly I don't have any pictures..... I shall go korek facebook and see X)

Happy 19th Birthday Seng Keat!!

You're a year older now, congrats!! hehehe, make sure you enjoy your last teen year kay ^^

Hmmm, so...... We celebrated last Friday at New York New York Deli. The food there was great by the way, and really fast, or maybe because there weren't much people there..... I'm not sure, hehe. Anyhow, I actually had plans for the day, but it was hard for us to have the party on another day, so I just made some time out and to have dinner with them, and see who I pulled along with me.

hehehe, my darling ♥ ^^

I had some Fried Shrimp and a Hawaian something Burger, I can't remember the names, eheheheh >.< didn't take picture of it though, but here is what the birthday boy ate:

Some pasta that he regreted ordering because he saw Kin Kit having something better than his, but loved it in the end.... haha

I went off after chatting for awhile and don't really know what happened after that, but I'm guessing it is more or less like this: Seng Keat opened my present, Kok Shien came, ate with Siew Mee, and after they are done, they brought the cake out and sang happy birthday =D

That's me and my darling's pressie, a cow mug =P

Chocolate Cake?

Groupie~~~

Anyhow, Happy Birthday Seng Keat!! Hope you had fun =) and sorry for leaving early, heheh.....

Cute Little Mooncakes

Went to Bidor to eat duck herb noodle (鸭腿面) the other day, so nice~~ ^^ and they're prawn wanton *salivates* and bought back lots of goodies to munch as well, one of it is this!!

Hehe, adorable right!! They are mooncakes, I couldn't bring myself to eat them, so I had to snap pictures of them first. But even so, I still felt sayang when I ate them, haha, and my dad...... gosh, he just stuff the whole piece in his mouth..... poor little mooncakes.

There's still 3 more left the last time I saw, which was this afternoon, but I'm not sure if they are still there though....... (pssst, my dad was watching tv just now XD)

Inner Thoughts #3: Changes

Time changes, place changes, life changes, and so does people......

Everyone around me are constantly changing, may it be appearance, personality, maturity, lifestyle, they're all changing. For better or for worst? I don't really know......

There is not an individual who could remain as who they are forever, we all know that, but there will be something about a person that people would remember them for, may it be the way they speak or the way they move, those graceful fluid movements or their klutziness where they would walk into everything even if it's not in their paths. There is definitely something. But would those memories be strong enough for the closure to remain, or would it slowly fade away along with the rest, bringing everything back to square one, bringing everyone back to the moment of unknown.

Some people change for the better, some for the worst. But which ever way they head, the space in between is getting further and further, the space which at one point, was so near that I could feel the end brushing on my skin, but now, barely even in sight.

I used to think that I know people so well, people that I could pour my heart out to, people that would be there, people that would stay. But I was wrong.......

I've learned a lot recently, learned that people are just, well, people. You think you know them but you don't, they change. One minute you're best of friends, next minute you're arch enemies. Someone that you once loved so dearly in your heart may just fade away with time, and you would eventually come to realise that the person you thought you love does not mean so much to you anymore.

People always tell us to look forward, the past is already the past, it's gone, there is nothing much we could do about it, so work for the future. But I couldn't help looking back, I missed it so much..... It isn't because it was the time I triumph, definitely not. I was always low profiled, never the popular one, never really accomplished anything. It was because those were the times where friends were just friends, without the complications. If I say I like you, I really do, no catch. We shared the laughter, tears, glory, failure, everything. But as we grow up, all we could do is look back and say 'those were the times'. Never will we encounter such moments anymore......

I used to have great friends, I had fun, and I enjoyed it. But after sometime, things aren't as simple as I thought. People left, everyone started changing, problems started arising. There were complications, politics, disagreements, back-stabbing. And as people dealt with these problems, they change. They become more mature, responsible, wiser, cautious. They become someone I no longer know........

People that were once so friendly, has now become a person I no longer recognize. People whose company I used to enjoy, has now turned into an awkward moment of silence. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they've turned bad, I'm just saying that I do not know them as well anymore.

However, there are still people out there whom I know, people whom will always be there for me, people whom I trust, and I really appreciate it, so please, don't change.....

I really do not know how things would end up to be, but I just hope that people would always remember, we will never truly be happy if we can't be who we are. If changes are made based on what we really want, then go for it. Do not ever change yourself just because others told you so, or because everyone around are likewise. Never ever let power and status blind you, always be truthful to yourself. We only have a shot at life.

You are who you are, remember that.

Skytrex Adventure

An experience to be experienced.....

Skytrex Adventure, an outdoor obstacle course. It was fun, but also really tiring..... and I'm developing ladder phobia T.T I'm serious, those ladders were nightmares....

Well, words only won't sound convincing enough, so I shall blog with pictures!!

Waiting for Kim Mei.... Those 2 at the back nothing better to do, wanna fight....

Hahaha!!! This is priceless!!! I think he was trying to imitate snapping pictures or something, can't remember....

At the registration counter, nothing much happened here besides filling up forms, buying gloves and renting locker

The first ladder to conquer.... looks easy eh? Wait till you climb halfway up, it's not the height that you fear, it's your arms giving in!!! I really wanted to give up, my arms were so tired, I'd much rather go rock climbing than climb that again

Another obstacle I really hate..... those tubes kept wobbling and they won't stay still!!! I almost fell off on the 2nd one, and some of them were so far apart that my legs could barely reach and I didn't know how to cross over T.T but I just tried to cross as quickly as possible

Another angle of those dreaded tubes....

This one was pretty simple, just walk on the planks only, and the path was pretty stable, so as long as your feet sticks to the planks, it's just a breeze across ^^

The Tarzan obstacle..... We were suppose to swing using the ropes in between the planks to get across, it would have been fun, only if my hands weren't in it's fatigue state.... Resorting to desperate measures, I just walked on the ropes to cross over

More ladders..... T.T It was everyone's nightmare, not only mine, so I'm not that weak ok.....

Waiting for my turn, see my tired eyes? @~@ and moreover I didn't eat anything before I started!!!! gosh, I'm seriously going to faint...

Finally finished the course, and these few kids got fascinated over the harness, haha, trying to play tug of war with it.

Our tired, sleepy and hungry faces....... Is it time to eat yet???

By the way, I'm falling in love with hammocks!!! They're soooooo comfy!!! Only if I wasn't constantly grinding on the ground though.... hahaha, that hammock should have been tied higher

Legs!!! My shoe very nice right, I know I know, you don't have to tell me.... XD

Groupie!!!!

There were lots of flying fox around as well, and they were really awesome, but I couldn't find a shot that was good, so I didn't post any up.... Kim Mei got stuck in the middle of one as well, hahaha, she went all the way through, then for some reason, she fell back, and Gin Min and Han Liang were laughing like mad on the other end, haha, think she was too light I guess..... Well, it's ok Kim Mei, look at the bright side, you're slim!!! =D unlike us, all fat fat one....

It was fun, but I don't think it's worth it.... it's RM40!! (+RM3 entrance fees +RM3 for buying gloves +RM1 for parking..... That bring it close to RM50....) But it was a good experience no doubt, and never am I going to underestimate the power of ladders anymore.....
