Potluck Party

I just had a potluck party at my house by the request of Danny Siah, a total of 7 people came, Danny, Jason, William, Geoffrey, Angus, Dwayne and Kim Mei. Danny was suppose to be the earliest to arrive, because he wanted to bring the PS2 and set it up down stairs, but of all you know, he over slept and came late.... =.= So, in the end, Jason, William, Angus and Kim Mei were the first ones to arrive.

And I tell you, these people, tak pernah tengok rumah punya...... come to my house, like it's some tourist attraction, all my trees also have to snap pictures, haha. Well, I'll take that as a compliment *bangga* house too nice, akakakaka (I'll get you guys over during christmas, then you all help me decorate my garden kayz ^^, remember to bring lights yarr)

Dwayne totally lost his way when he was coming. I have no idea how many times did he called, and there's something that I don't understand as well...... why on earth is he calling Angus's phone when he wants to talk to me??? O.o (forgotten to ask him.....)

Our food consist of pasta (Jason), KFC (Danny), Koniyaku jelly (Kim Mei), potato salad (me), drinks (William), and some twister fries my mom found in the fridge =P

We started eating before Dwayne and Geoffrey arrived, as everyone was getting hungry, but my plate was still empty when they came, because I've been trying to give Dwayne directions all the while, hehe. So, eat eat eat, talk talk talk, and everyone was full eventually.

We brought the PS2 down after that. Went to the 2nd floor to plug it out, and for some unknown reasons, the two girls, and also arts students, namely Kim Mei and I, were the ones doing the technical work, while we were having six engineering guys around =.=" nevermind, guess it's good training for us anyway, after all we are in the technical team, hehehe.

We played GT4, and I played against Kim Mei. Won the first round, lost the 2nd T.T haha

Everyone went back at around 10 something, as it was hungry ghost month, and it was advisable not to return home at such late hours. Most of them were driving alone, and Angus had to take LRT back to KL i think....... wish you luck, heheh.

I don't have any pictures to post up here, William was the one snapping them, so we'll just have to wait for him to post up the pictures in his blog soon ^^

Huichuin's 18th Birthday

Huichuin's birthday...... celebrated at Ming Tien..... hehe, sorry, all on budget, so couldn't go to expensive places =P

As usual, the dinner starts at 7pm, and surprisingly, most of them were punctual this time!!!! Woo-hoo!!!! But, the latest was non other than *jeng jeng jeng* the birthday boy himself...... came almost an hour late =.="

Waiting for the birthday boy

Finally, when Huichuin came, everyone went off to get their food. The guys introduced some super spicy taiwan sausage to us, which was said to be, well, SUPER spicy, apparently 'sure cannot tahan'. So, Fook Hoy went to order two sticks back, and all of us started wondering 'enough meh..... 9 people wei.....', and of all you know, it really was enough. When they say super spicy, they really mean SUPER spicy. If I'm not mistaken, they used chili padi in it, and all our lips were swollen even with just one or two bites T.T

Karina and Kai Ru crying alraedy, kesian.....

After we've finished dinner, we went to get Huichuin's cake. We kind of 'forgotten' to buy his cake before hand, so we had to go and search for a cake, we even suggested on getting a loaf of bread and sticking a candle into it, haha. So, Kai Ru, Siew Mee and I went over to cake sense to get the cake, and at the same time, Siew Mee got him a little special cake, really special......

A personal cake!!!!!

Well, I guess we were pretty good actors, think he kind of got conned by us, hehe. After we've had enough, we brought out the real cake for him.

Happy Birthday Huichuin!!!! =D

Look at how happy he is

So, we light up the candles, sang happy birthday, blew out the candles, and here comes our tradition, hehehe~~~~ pulling out the candles with your mouth!!!!

Hair too long........

Then, we had our present opening ceremony, which, we made him wear on everything that we gave him, surprisingly everything that we gave him was wearable, and the end results:

The egg is courtesy of Nana =P

Nana also gave Fook Hoy his over due present, suppose to have given it to him months ago, but she forgotten to bring it along every time she came out with us.

Someone trying to act cute........

Kena denda T.T
(By the way, notice that we're all wearing white? We didn't plan it, it just so happen we did. Hmmmm, maybe that's what they call fate XD)

We went to hang at sedap after we're done at Ming Tien, went over to chill and drink teh tarik, nothing better to do, just didn't want to stay at the same place, haha.

KL Night Out

Angus invited us to KL for dinner on Saturday night, just some random outing, because most of us had nothing to do and we were bored of staying home, so we came out with some out of the blues suggestion. We tried calling most of the people we could think of who are free, but apparently, they weren't after all, so, it ended up with only the 4 of us, Angus, Danny Siah, Kim Mei and me.....

On the night before, Kim Mei, Angus and I went on skype to discuss about our plans for the night. We did a group talk but because of SOMEONES mic, the line kept breaking and we just kept giggling all the way, and I have no idea how many times did we have to repeat the plan over and over again, in the end, Kim Mei and I just resorted to typing, hahaha.

So, basically, the plan was to meet at KLCC at 5.30pm, have dinner, then head over to 7ate9 to chill. I was tagging along Danny's car so I had to wait for him to come over to get me, and for all you know, he came at 5.40pm!!!!! (plus minus 5 mins, can't remember exactly) So, by the time we reached there, it was already 6.30pm, we were 1 hour late...... (don't blame me, I was ready at 4.30pm, waiting...... XD)

But anyhow, when we reached there, we went to find Angus and Kim Mei, and as we were going up the escalator, we spotted them on the opposite, going down (haha, ironic). At first, we were thinking of having dinner at the food court, but Kim Mei and I weren't hungry yet, so we went to walk for awhile and scout around for other food options at the same time. We came across Madam Kwan's and thought that the place looked good (not food wise, just the ambiance), so we had our dinner there instead.

I was the only 1 who ordered the curry laksa while the other 3 ordered nasi lemak. Tasted not bad, no complains, hehe~~ We had quite a chat while we were sitting there, and I think most of the other tables were beginning to stare at us for our weird topics and loud outburst, especially because of a certain someone who couldn't be civilised (I'm sure you know who you are....).

After that, we went over to 7ate9 to chill. It's just a short distance out of KLCC, about 5 mins walk and you're there. It was still quite empty when we reached, we were just way too early (the crowd wouldn't come in until at least 11pm). The place was nice, but so were the prices........ even water cost RM10!!!! *money fly away~~~*

The candle and ashtray on our table

Kim Mei and I ordered the martini, mine was lychee martini and hers was orange. The taste was not bad, sweet when it first enters your mouth and when you swallow it, only will you taste the alcohol. Angus ordered the house white wine, and Danny, the 'innocent' one, ordered ginger ale.

Me!!!!

For some reason, we were lost for topics when we sat there, and non of us had any idea why. It was a more suitable environment compared to Madam Kwan's to chat, but somehow, we were just........ lost........ But after sometime, the mood came back, and we were back on track.

The three of us, Danny, Kim Mei and I, were chatting away with our conversations, but as for Angus, he was just sitting there, reminiscing about his past, staring round the bar searching back for all his lost memories...... I don't think he would realise if we left....... okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, haha, he did join in some of our conversations, but he was silent most of the time, being in a world of his own, picking out memories form his past, remembering a certain someone =P

We left around 9.30pm, and before we left, we ask the waitress to help us snap a group pic. Angus asked Danny to pose and this is what he came up with

Don't ask me what is he doing, I have no idea myself.....

On our way back, we had a really good view of Twin Tower

I still do not know what is he doing.....

All of us took the LRT home, and it was freaky to see that a number of them were wearing face mask on the train, made us feel so insecure...... but we didn't have a mask there at that moment, so we'll just have to bear with it, holding on to the fact that we're not that 'lucky', hehehe~~

Reminiscing : High School Moments

Remembering the times during school days, where everything was a lot less stressful, teachers were around to assist us in everything we do. We never have to even think twice of what to wear, everyday it’s the same two piece uniform. Classes ended during the afternoon, and we’re off to do whatever we want.

The part I love most about high school is having a really great bunch of friends, though we weren’t close during the first couple of years, we started to bond during form 3 and when form 4 starts, that’s when the real fun begins. We did all sorts of co-curricular activities together, planned birthday parties for one another, and in the course of a year, we’ll roughly have a total of 10 birthday celebrations, celebrating almost every alternate month.

One of the most memorable moments during form 4 was when we participated in the Young Enterprise Program, introduced by AMCHAM Malaysia. It’s a program whereby students were taught about the fundamentals of business, how it works, how to manage your company, etc. We were the first batch in our school to take on this program, and sadly to say we were also the last, as certain problem aroused in the following year and resulted in the program being cancelled for our school. Though I have to say the program was a little stressful and time consuming, as form 4 was not an easy year to cope with, but we had a really fun time participating.

Went to AMCHAM for an interview

Stock Challenge!!! (love it so much)

*posing*

Us and our awards (we didn't want to get off the stage)

In form 5, we participated in the Hospitality Race organized by KDU. It was something like Amazing Race where we had to run round the college to find items and perform tasks. There’s a point which we had to run up about 6-8 flight of stairs!!! (can’t remember the exact amount) A total of 9 of us went, 3 per group, and my group got 7th place!!! Too bad there isn’t any prize for coming in 7th….. But we had a really enjoyable time there, the whole day was fast paced and packed with a whole lot of fun.

Wen Kai is the only guy that went among us (also in my group, hehe)

We also went for CLIOD (College Life In One Day) which was organized by Taylor’s College. We were given different choices of courses where we were able to go there and experience what is it like to be a college student for the day. All of us did not go together as we had different choices. In the end, Kai Ru and I went for the Architecture course while the others went for mass communication. Though it was only the two of us, but we still had lots of fun meeting people and working with them.

My group's 'Picasso' drawing

We had to design a structure so that our egg would not break when it falls from the second story
(too bad ours failed *sobs*)

Participants of the day

Another memorable moment was during ‘Lost In Bermuda’. It’s a haunted maze which we did for our school’s carnival, where we became the ghost ourselves. And the best part is, we made a profit of RM600++ in just 4 hours!!! We started working from 8am till 12pm, and we manage to snag that amount, which gives us an average of roughly RM 150 an hour, not bad….. But we had to split the cost among 10 people, so we only got around RM60/person, still not a bad amount though.

Too bad I was holding the cam.....

At the end of form 5, during Christmas, we organized an overnight trip to Genting. We rented a room at Genting View Resort (never will I be Going there again) and we brought our own food up to cook as we were sure that the food at Genting is going to cost a bomb, especially during Christmas Eve. The apartment that we’ve rented was only a two room apartment, where there were only 4 beds, so we ended up taking turns to sleep, and I did not manage to sleep at all…..

We lined ourselves in a row =)

The guys did the cooking

(nothing better to do)

*emo*

Merry Xmas!!!

Nana looks so cute, haha

We really had lots of moments together during high school, that’s why I just love those times so much. Without you guys, I don’t think that I’ll enjoy it as much as I do now, so, thank you all for giving me such a wonderful time. Really miss you guys......

LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! *hugs and kisses* ^^

2.00 a.m.

I don't really have anything to do now, it's really late and I have to get some sleep soon as I'll be waking up at 6.00am today and heading off to Genting for a day trip, but I'm waiting for my hair to dry....... don't want to get rheumatism, hehe~~

I came back pretty late from Audrey's birthday party, which was slightly past 12am. I had to wait for her bf to go back first before I could leave, as her parents didn't know about them and it'll be really awkward if he was left there alone. So, being a kind friends, Wen Kai and I stayed on until he left, which was around 11.40pm I think (both of you sooooo owe us =P), but as we were leaving, we couldn't help continuing our little chat at the gate, and it was after 12am when we finally manage to stop ourselves and went home.

The party was not bad, really glad to meet my high school friends again (miss them so much......), and the food was great!!! Mostly we just sat around and talked, get to know what everyone is up to nowadays........ didn't really do much actually, but it was nice in a way ^^

Can't wait for my trip, I want my Space Shot!!!! Hope that there's someone who would sit with me, cause the last time I went, most of them didn't want to get on it so I lost my chance back then T_T just hope that I don't chicken out in the end....

Getting really sleepy right now, but at least I still get an hour sleep in the bus, haha. Well, my hair's almost dried, so I'll just start packing up and by the time I'm done, it should be just right for me to go to sleep.

*~signing out~*

Hair Dyeing Excursion

Holidays, too free, so went to get a hair dye with Danny Siah, after all, it's free!!!!!!!!!

Apparently, Kim Mei's friend called her to go but as both of them could not make it at the end, she gave the spots to me and Danny instead, and I have no idea why, but she owes us lunch!!!! (according to Danny XD)

We were suppose to go to Loreal Hair Academy at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar, but we had no idea how to get there, the only solution we had was to take the LRT, which we also had no idea how to get to the station, haha, so I went to ask my mom if she could fetch us to the station during her lunch, and instead, she offered to fetch us there!!! haha, *happy* she said that her office was near to bangsar and since it was lunch, she didn't have to rush so she could detour and fetch us there, so..... why not?

I didn't really expected myself to go actually, but somehow, I just went..... well..... it's free hair dye!!!! The academy needed 'model' volunteers for they're students, to test they're skills in dyeing hair, so we were basically guinea pigs...... but..... it's Loreal Hair Academy....... and free hair dye!!!!! ahahahaha, I'm still not over that fact XD

When we reached Jalan Telawi, we had quite a trouble finding the place, specially with all the one way streets around and the jam. But in the end, we finally found the place!!!! But we only saw a shop with the huge word 'Loreal Professional', the 'Academy' word wasn't spotted until we walk to the door. So, we went in, told them that we were volunteers, and found out that the class wasn't over yet. Well, we were there early actually, so the receptionist asked us to come back sometime after 2pm.

We headed over to Bangsar Village, as we needed aircon (can't live without it). Went in, walked floors after floors, and the only shop we went in was MPH (quite random actually, no idea why we went in) and browse through some architecture books (another random moment XD). Then, we came out, walk another few floors, and decided that it was time to go back.

Headed back to the academy, went in, waited for awhile, and finally we could get our hair done!!! The students came in and were assigned to their models. Lucky me, i got two young ladies, hehe, not bad looking as well, but kesian Danny, he got two aunties!!!! ahahaha, but they were pretty friendly though.

So, they started to evaluate our hair, the type, colour, length, and asked what colour are we intending to dye. They took a pretty long time to evaluate mine, no idea why, the rest has already started off and my colour mixture is not even done yet......

After the long wait, they finally started on my hair. Splat splat splat, and for some reason, mine turned out to be the fastest, but they didn't do a second touch for me, which I think they should have done, cause they're supervisor said so at the end of the session (I'll elaborate on that later).

As I was waiting for they dye to set, i had nothing to do but to look around, so I started looking at them doing Danny's hair, and I guess that two aunties were really having the time of they're lives playing with his hair XD they just couldn't get enough of it, kept massaging and combing with they're fingers, and they were saying that he had a lot of hair, hahaha.

That's what the aunties did to his hair.....
(he's soooo gonna kill me for posting this up, but I asked for permission already, so don't kill me XD)

Can't remember how long I waited before they washed my hair, but I was still the fastest (haha, started off last but finished first, ironic...), then they dried my hair and ta-dah!!!! my hair was done ^^

That's my new colour, not much difference though

Danny's hair was done after mine, his took quite sometime though, as I've said, the aunties couldn't get enough of his hair, so they started styling it for him, and gosh....... there splatted like 3-4 types of different gel on his hair!!!! They applied one after another, this doesn't work, try another, doesn't work again, use another one, ahahaha, both of us were big eyed when we saw them bringing gel continuously O.O

But, the end results was pretty good, for my opinion

Poser.....

He looks like some good boy!!!! But I seriously think it looks better than his previous, requires some work though, you need a roller, hair dryer, gel and time to achieve that look, so....... Good Luck Danny Siah!!!! The colour he chose was suppose to be purple actually, but for some reason, they chose the wrong degree or something, so it turned out brown. Oh well, better luck next time. =)

After everything was done, the students had to do a small presentation about the whole procedure, what did they use, how they did it........ and, yea, this is where the supervisor said that my hair required two touch, because my hair was dyed before, but it wasn't obvious though, the dyed part was very close to my original hair colour, that's why they only did once.

We were like some exhibition items or something, where the stylist will come and mess up your hair to further evaluate (don't know how to explain) and Danny's hair kena messed up, haha, after styling for so long, it was messed, but it still looks okay, maybe just slightly not as good as before.

When both of us were done being exhibited to the class, we headed off to mid valley to visit Jason and Kim Mei, as they were both working there. Took us a while to find the office, but it wasn't that bad. Met up with them, but Kim Mei had to go back first, so the 3 of us went to have dinner at Nyonya Colours, went back after that by LRT, Danny's dad came to get us, and Danny Siah drove!!!! (lazy to tell the whole story =P).

Seng Keat's 18th Birthday

Last minute planning..... hmmm....... Well, this is what you can really call a last minute planning.

For weeks we've been wondering what to do for Seng Keat's birthday, and finally, on Thursday, Fook Hoy messaged me, saying 'Seng Keat's birthday!!! Audrey's birthday!!! How?? Celebrate together??'' hahaha, so, we just did some last minute planning in about...... less than 10 mins, 'Tomorrow, 1U, 7pm, meet at KFC' and we both agreed on it, so we started sending out messages to everyone asking if they're free to come. I did the girls, he did the guys, and for all you know, most of the girls were not free, ended up with only Kai Ru, Siew Mee and me. As for the guys, we were a little luckier as all could come except Wen Kai, hehe~~

Well, since Audrey couldn't make it this round, we'll celebrate hers another time, so we just went on with Seng Keat's birthday. =P

On Friday, I fetched Kai Ru along and we arrived there close to 7pm, but as our birthday boy could only arrive at 7.30pm, the rest went about to search for present while me and Kai Ru went to get the cake. We went over to bread story and got the black forest cake for him. After that, we started brain storming on where to eat, as we knew that no one would come up with any form of suggestions. Eventually, since Seng Keat's birthday was on the exact day, we decided to go to Wong Kok, to get the giant cup of tea, literally giant cup of tea.

Our cup of tea!!! A cup fit for.... err..... 10??

We ran into the others while we were sitting down (can't remember where exactly, near the escalator to the cinema i guess). So, we told them bout our dining plans, went back to bread story to collect the cake, and headed to Wong Kok. Upon arrival, we saw our birthday boy!!!! haha, Seng Keat was sitting outside waiting for us.

I had the Beef Hor Fun for dinner. Fook Hoy, Kai Ru and Seng Keat ordered the cheese baked rice, but apparently, I think the kitchen forgotten bout Fook Hoy's order, because all our food was out except his, and he had to remind the waiter, haha

That's my food ^^

Seng Keat's birthday vouchers

Jury?!?!?!

Happy Birthday!!!

*~chomp chomp~*

Somebody call 911, shouting fire burning on the cake~~ oh~~~

As for the cake, we decided that instead of cutting it into slices and eat it the conventional style, we should just dig in instead!!!! (always wanted to do that =P)

Scene 1 : Preparing to dig

Scene 2 : Half gone

Scene 3 : Bits left

Scene 4 : Happy Birthday Audrey!!!!

Haha, we were joking that we should leave that piece for her, afterall we were planning to celebrate her birthday together at first XD So, Momzy, that's for you, Happy Birthday!!!

Group Pic

Fook Hoy, Huichuin, Kai Ru and me got that for him ^^

After eating, we wanted to hang somewhere that did not require any pocket digging, so, Kok Shien suggested we head to the play ground at rainforest for some cam whoring, hehe~~

I really hope that bridge can withstand our weight O.o

山猪(wild boar/direct translation:mountain pig) at the back XD
