Hayley got a taste of the frosting and the rest was history.....

She got her first taste and couldn't help herself...

We found her hiding in the corner...
you can see the shock and embarrassment on her face.

Then she just let loose.

Then she decided to get Carly in on the action.

LOVE this picture. Carly in the background kills me.

Next victim was Madison.

I was stupid to dare stay so close, so I turned into Madison's prey.

Then I got mom.

And she got me.

Then Madison decided to bring cheesecake into the equation. Usually when Madison and I get going...it's not pretty. It involved bruises and my right nostril stuffed full of cheesecake.
The two handfuls of cheesecake on our faces came from the one you can see on the counter.

Maddy thought it still looked yummy.

Everyone came in saying, "Your bleeding, your bleeding!"
Nope...just strawberries.

Mom left her frosting on for a while, she swore it was working as a fabulous mask and was firming up her skin. Nicole, you might want to consider this as a service.

This bruise was immediately after the fight. It is now the scariest purple bruise!
Good times.

I would NEVER guess my dad would be so into a show about dancing. But this year he was GLUED to Dancing with the Stars. Donny is an old friend of my dads. He was actually a roadie for the Osmonds years ago and was able to travel around the world with them. I am not sure who looks more proud in this picture...my dad was SO excited when he won.
Check out my dad's blog to get the whole story.
(It's on my blog list under Dad.)
CONGRATULATIONS DONNY!

the night the sky lit up

Last night at around 12:15 I was sitting in my office on the computer talking to Hayley on the phone. My office light was on but the rest of the upstairs was pitch black. At the exact time my upstairs LIT UP Hayley (in Provo) freaked out on the phone saying that something just lit up my moms front yard and she could see her car as if it was daylight. Then we both began freaking out. I immediately got on Facebook and soon had people commenting saying they saw it. Then a friend of mine in St. George said he saw it. He described it as something that started out as a shooting star then proceeded to grow as big as the sun. He said it was green, blue and white. It freaked him out to no end. Then a guy on the freeway said he thought we were getting nuked. He said it got as bright as if it were two in the afternoon. I soon called Channel 4 who said they were pulling their hair out trying to figure out what it was. They were on the phone with astronomers, and that people from Vegas to Ogden had seen it. This thing was big or just extremely close because it was as bright in Vegas as in Northern Utah. They are pretty sure it hit, they just don't know where. CRAZY!!!! Here is a security video of someone in Utah. Remember this is at midnight!!!

Christmas in November...

SO different from Continuum but SO good. My ears are going to be quite busy. I have to now order the album on iTunes because he does a cover of 'I'm on Fire!' By the Boss. Court could anything be better?!!! Dad you will love 'Crossroads!'
In the song 'Who Says' there is a line that talks about planning a trip to Japan alone. It brings a smile to my face as I remember when HE looked into my eyeballs for what seemed like an hour and told me about his trip to Japan he had just taken...ALONE. (sigh)

Can I tell you how I enjoyed opening my T-shirt up to find my CD...nice touch.

Happy Veterans Day/ Must Love Dogs

If you know our family well, you know we LOVE dogs!
My sister in law Nicole often refers to us as the Osborne family when we get them all together. She is Marvin's mom.
This is a photo taken a few months ago of our dog children. From left to right Rocco and Lulu (both ours), Marvin, Tess, Darla (Lulu's daughter, both rescue dogs), Tug and Ducati (Rocco's brother)
I came across this neat video that brought on the tears of dogs welcoming home their Veteran owners. Check them out....
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR VETERANS WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY.
