Our flight out of Oakland left at 6:00 a.m. Therefore we had to be up by 3:00 a.m. so we could get the 4:10 shuttle to the airport.
This is Emily and Tyler after we got them dressed.
Lining up to meet the 2 shuttle buses we had to take.
Waiting for the shuttle buses
The Greggy Bunch at the Oakland airport.
The kids (as well as Darrell and I) slept the whole flight.

San Francisco Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel
We stopped by the Jelly Belly factory/store. We didn't go on a tour because they weren't producing Jelly Belly's that day, but we got to sample any kind we wanted.
We went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA.
Us with the Looney Tunes characters
I didn't get many pictures, but we rode some rides
and went to some animal shows
Johnny Rockets for lunch

San Francisco Day 3
We began our day with breakfast at the hotel.
We stopped at Psycho Donuts to get a snack for later.
Aubrey, Tyler, Laura, Emily and Megan watching a DVD in the van
We went to the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park
Eating our Psycho Donuts before heading into the forest
The Redwoods forest was SO beautiful!
It's hard to see, but here we all are.
A sampling of pictures
Megan thought that where these two trees came together was a slide and wanted to keep sliding down it.
Derek, Tansy and Samuel
Greg and Daniel
Kimberly, Aubrey, Kyle, Olivia and Sage
Jonathan with a banana slug
Lunch at Subway
Tyler at Natural Bridges State Beach
It was cold and windy, but that didn't stop Sage from jumping in and swimming while the others just waded (and got plenty wet too.)
Megan REALLY wanted to go wading with the big kids and wasn't happy that I dragged her away to a safer area.
Emily with Grandma
Calmer, warmer water
The sand was nice and warm.
Emily enjoyed stepping on the seed pods.
Then we made the drive 2-3 hours north to be near the next day's adventure. We had dinner at the nearby Denny's.
Derek and Tansy borrowed 2 umbrella strollers and 2 pack 'n' plays for us so we wouldn't have to takes ours. Megan and Emily in their beds.
