THREE!!!

Image
Hutch and Anniston turned 3 today. We celebrated with our family and friends and had a wonderful day. I am so thankful for these two precious little (big!) babies that I have been given to raise. They are such a joy every single day and I never in a million years would have guessed this would be my lot in life....to raise twins. But I can't think of anything better :) Happy birthday sweet babies. You have brought so much joy to me and your daddy and everyone who you come in contact with. Thank you for making me a mommy and being exactly who you both are. You are both perfect in every way. And just so you know, I will ALWAYS call you my babies, no matter if you are 3 or 33!! Love, Mommy (or Kelly as Hutch now calls me....)

Disneyworld

Well, we went again. Can't stay away. It really is magical, especially to an almost 3 year old. Really, it is. Everything about it. It brings me so much joy to see my children enjoy something so much. There was lots of dancing, running around, screaming, squealing, laughing, and smiling these past few days as Hutch and Anniston saw, met, ate with, and rode the rides of their favorite characters. Anniston's favorite ride is "It's a Small World" or "Babies" according to her. Hutch couldn't decide if he liked Buzz ride or Pirates better. And they both really like the Pooh ride. My mom broke her foot a few weeks before the trip so she rented a Gogo - haha! BUT we got to the front of almost every line so it was worth it. And except for Hutch pulling the fire alarm in the Buzz ride, falling off the bus and having to fill out an incident report (he didn't even get a scrape or cry - it was NOTHING, but the bus driver MADE me do it), having to have so...

Woody and Jessie

This is probably my final year of being able to choose what I want Hutch and Anniston to be for Halloween. I usually do not try to match them or coordinate them, except for pictures, but I can ONE day a year, right? 1st Halloween - She was a WKU cheerleader and he was a WKU football player (our alma mater) 2nd Halloween - brown and pink dogs 3rd Halloween- Woody and Jessie. They both like the movie Toy Story and have met Woody and Jessie at Disneyworld and plan to meet them again. Then I found a Woody costume at a consignment sale and the idea came. All the Jessie costumes I found online were SO cheap looking, as was part of the Woody costume. So I made Anniston's costume and we used the top half of Hutch's. He wore his regular jeans and cowboy boots. I know I'm partial, but they looked ADORABLE! Hutch would occasionally wear his hat and Anniston would have nothing to do with hers. She said " I wear a bow," and she did. They wore their costumes 3 times th...

3, yes THREE, year pictures!!

I know they aren't technically 3 years old yet, even though (sigh) they will be in less than 3 months. I am now only doing their pics every year and I wanted fall pics, so this year they were taken a little early. I think we have a pretty great photographer and some pretty cute kids!! Here is a sample. More to come! Click Here: Weaver - pix by Robyn Much thanks to Robyn McIsaac for her wonderful talent and time!

Cuteness Abounds!

Every time I think they can't get any cuter, they do! Imagine that! We've just started back to school for the fall. So far so good. I like the time alone, although it is as of now filled with things I need to do that I didn't get done for the past  weeks because I had no time alone. I just prefer not to do certain things with them in tow! I do miss them but the time at school sure does fly by! They come home with some new song/word/phrase every day and I love having someone else to teach them besides me!! We are excited about fall and our many upcoming adventures to pumpking patches, a slight obsession of mine. They are just SO much fun! Enjoy these silly pics of my rascals!!

I've been a little preoccupied with a new toy, which is why I haven't blogged in FOREVER! We are all doing well. Both Hutch and Anniston had their adenoids removed and tubes put in (3rd time for A, 1st time for H) and are doing well. About to start back to MDO in September. Both so full of life and so much fun! Here's a look at our life in pictures from the last month or so.                                                           On the train at the Zoo                                           ...
