Teeth...Why are they so expensive???

It's been a rough month here at the Larson house regarding teeth!
I had to have some oral surgery on an abscessed tooth
which wasn't so bad....but the noise was horrendous.
and then....
We took our 3 dear children into the dentist this week
to have their pearly whites cleaned.
No Cavities!
No Problems!
but.....
The Larson's spent $2300 on teeth this month!!! OUCH
We are just happy that we have a dentist here,
after all
no Carls Jr., Nordstrom, Panda, In n Out, Anthropologie, etc.......
I should say that we are grateful to have teeth too!

Wicked!

Yesterday, Olivia and I had the chance to go to Albuquerque to go and see WICKED!
She had never seen it before and was so excited to go.
Morgan made all of us shirts.....dang cute shirts I might add.
Olivia's shirt had Dorthy's cute red slippers and said "What ever happened to those red Slippers"
My shirt was super cute too! It had Elphaba on it and said "defy gravity".
Great job Morgan.
We went down with Aunt Tammy, Katie, baby Kayl, Morgan, Ally, Virginia and two of Morgan's friends.
We got there early enough that we were able to go to the MALL!!!!! Olivia was able to find a pair of Ruby Red Slippers....It completed here outfit for the play. We did some shopping, Olivia got an Orange Julius, and then it was off to the play. On the way home we stopped at Panda Express......o' it's been a long time!
Olivia kept telling me that it was the best girl's day ever....except for baby Kayl there (who by the way is the best baby ever....I don't think we heard him cry once)!
While we were there we heard some interesting news......FARMINGTON IS GETTING IT'S VERY OWN OLD NAVY. Now for all my California friends this is trivial, but for us Farmingtonites....it's some of the best news ever. We are really moving up in the world, we are also getting an Aeropostle, and a Yogurt store too!!! WOHOO!

Happy New Year

We had a great day today. We woke up early enough to go through the De-Christmasfication process. Wow, that is a lot of work....I just kept thinking....11 more months till you do it all again!

When we were all done, James went out and bought some sleds and we hit the snow. Our friend has a lot with a nice hill on it and he said we could do some sledding, and sledding we did! The kids loved it. They kept going up and down, up and down. I'm pretty sure they will sleep well tonight. Elijah kept saying, "This is the best day ever." Hopefully it will be one of those memories they don't forget.

Hopefully this new year is just as exciting and happy as today was!

By the way...We all got some sweet air, and had some nasty falls!

New Years Eve Party

Olivia had a daytime New Years Eve party today. She invited a few girls from school, and her cousin Hannah. They all brought their American Girl dolls, had a fashion show, decorated cookies, and had a great time. Olivia is already planning her next party!

Our First Real Snow

We got our first real snowfall today. It has been snowing non-stop since we woke up. Elijah and Ethan immediately wanted to go out and play in it. They spent hours outside sliding down the driveway, throwing snowballs, and playing in the snow.
James and I were just talking the other day how warm it's been here and how last year we had way more snow. Before I could even finish my thought, James stopped me and told me not to jinx the weather....too late! It's suppose to be worse tomorrow. The kids are sad that the snow didn't wait till next week when they go back to school. They are already looking forward to a few snow days!

Christmas 2010

They all look so excited, but they each got the gifts they had requested. Olivia got her American Girl Doll, "Molly". Ethan got his DSI XL in blue, and Elijah got the paintball gun he wanted.

We had a wonderful Christmas! We are thankful for the true gift, Our Savior's life, and it was wonderful to celebrate his birth.

Christmas Eve Dinner

We had an interesting Christmas Eve. The family has been battling the flu for the last week or so, and James came down with it on Christmas Eve. He came home from work early, sicker than a dog. He immediately went to bed. The kids and I went up to Aunt Tammy's house to join the rest of my family for Christmas Eve dinner. The food was great, and it was great to be all together (it's been a long time since we all got together last).
After dinner, we went home to check up on Dad, who was feeling a little better. The kids were so excited to open up two presents each. Their Christmas PJ's and their "something they need" present which were electric blankets for their beds! SO EXCITING, at least they thought so.
They immediately went to bed, but got up every hour to see if Santa had come. Olivia woke up exactly at Midnight, only to throw up (it was her turn to get sick). I woke up around 3, because I heard Santa delivering his gifts. Olivia woke up at 4:18, and I just gave up. I got the whole family up to open presents so we could go back to bed!
