Oh and by the way this is my soon to be sister in law!!  Isn't she cute?  I am so excited to get to know her over the next couple of days.

It was a great day, and Ryan was asleep before we were even out of the park.

Can you believe that this little girl is almost two??  I can't, it is almost shocking!  And do you know what else is kinda shocking?  She is so happy and delightful!  She has so many words I can't count(and 10 more every day)  And she has some serious personality!  The other night we were going to spend the night at Mimi's but Caroline woke up around midnight and WAS NOT going back to sleep anytime soon, it was like she was on speed.  So I woke up Ryan and we headed home.  The whole way home she would fake sneeze, tell herself "Bless You" and then reply to herself "Thank You" and then fake laugh and say "I'm funny Mama, I'm funny!" All at 1am!  Today she was fake crying in the car(a not so fun thing) and then saying,"I crying mama, I sad" and then I'd say "it's okay stop crying" and she would say,"Okay mama, now I happy girl!"

Oh and she LOVES her brother and he LOVES her-it is so fun and exciting to see their relationship start to form and take shape.  She will call out for him in the house, and he will come to her whatever he is doing. She wants him by her side almost all the time.  She request hugs and kisses from him all day, and he happily shares with her(most of the time) all through out the day!

We love this new happy personality that is blossoming out of our little girl, and can't wait to see what the next couple of months bring!

Last of all we went to Mimi and Gramps for Christmas Dinner.  The first thing that happened was a pesky elf got ahold of some of the presents and hid them through out the house and left silly notes behind.

So the kids went on a hunt to find their gifts.

Caroline read some books.  This is her favorite at Mimi and Gramps.

And we opened some presents, I don't have any pictures of Ryan, I don't think he held still long enough to get one.  I love how Caroline is crouching down in half of these pictures.

And this is my sweet D!  Isn't she getting so big and beautiful! 

And of course we did our pageant, well kinda it was late and the kids were tired.

This was Caroline's gifts from Santa.  I think she did pretty good.

And Ryan didn't do so bad either!

And of course don't forget his all important Hairy Cows(from Target)!!

Okay so we will start off with Christmas Eve at Grandma's and Papa's.  The night was long and the kids were great!  It was a nice combination.

Aunt Page did really good with Caroline, she was in love from the moment she saw it!

She even knew it was a Triceratops Dinosaur!  She hugged it, rode it, and drug it all over the house.

This is Charlie, Ryan and Charlie played all night long and had a great time.  She is just so dang cute, I wanted to bring her home with me!!

We had a great time, we went home and got the kids in bed and waited for Santa to come.

Today we went to see Santa, Ryan LOVED it but Caroline not so much!!  Ryan asked for hairy cows from Target(schleich animal) and Caroline, well she just cried!!

She is not having it at all!!

Oh and I got a new camera for Christmas!!  I am so excited!!

So my wonderful aunt Laur sent the kids a fabulous Christmas gift, and they have loved using it everyday!!  It came a couple of weeks ago and I decided since the weather has been so nice we might as well use it now!

The tent and tunnel has been turned into everything under the sun!!  His pillows, blanket and animals are always part of the action!!  Thanks Laur for a well loved and thoughtful gift!

the other day it was BEAUTIFUL outside so we headed to the zoo!!  we met some friends in the morning and then some other friends after lunch!!

This is Tug, Ryans buddy from preschool, they are only a couple weeks apart and then Tug has a sister Ansley that is only a couple weeks apart from Caroline!  It was fun, we had a great time!!

these two were just too cute for words!!  half the time it looked like they were on a date, holding hands and reading maps!

petting the snake is always a highlight of our zoo visit!!

We saw Santa today but it wasn't at the mall!!!

Not his first real haircut, but his first real cut with me hacking at it first!!  It turned out really cute, and he held SO SO SO still!  Such a cute big boy!!!

Museum AGAIN....man have we gotten money's worth(well more like our Christmas presents worth) out of these passes!  The new Egypt exhibit is amazing!

The other day while at Target Caroline grabbed my credit card and started to swipe it on the little box and then grabbed the pen and started pound away on the numbers-think she has seen me swipe my card a few times???
