After soccer practice we decided to go to the park since it was such a nice night.
swinging with daddy!
Ryan's soccer ball rolled into the pond behind us. Ryan's mad, and Caroline is concerned.
Mimi saved the ball from the other side of the pond.

Family picture!

leaving the park....
holding hands and trying to keep up...

soccer is the best!!
playing a fun game of kick the cowboy!  the kids loved it!  we have the best coaches ever!

ry ran around giving high fives and yelling boo-ya!!
Papa, Grandma and Mimi were all able to come to ry's practice.

it was a fun practice and a beautiful evening!

let me tell you the reasons i love this simple little picture
well to start i love this little boy to pieces
i love the mop of curly hair, that draws alot of attention and oohhs and ahhs
i love that he traded nicely with his sister to get that book
i love that he is quite(my kids are rarely quite)
i love that he is intently looking at that book
i love the sunlight pouring in on him
and last but not least
i LOVE that he crosses his legs
i just think it is so darn cute, and he always does it!!

i love you rhino!
it's one of those moments that i want to freeze forever, to keep everything just like it is!

Caroline had a little fight with the concrete and the concrete won!

This weekend I went to an Amish Festival with my mom and we had a great time.
Thank you Steve and Joann for watching the kids all day I really appreciate it, it was a nice to get away.
This is where all the men folk were hanging out, the lawn equipment auction.

They were auctioning anything you could think of.

Even squirrels, which is so funny because my mom was quoting Rat Race on the way there because we got kinda lost out in the middle of no where.

low and behold we found a stuffed squirrel.
"You girls wanna buy a squirrel? They make crackerjack pets!"

This was a generator powered ice cream machine-it was super noisy!

A bored amish boy with his mama.

We finished our adventure with some wonderful homemade vanilla ice cream and blackberry pie.

Well we haven't really been up to much lately....Ry is in preschool two days a week, gymnastics and soccer.  So my life as a chauffeur has begun and I'm so excited because it means my little guy is BUSY!!  Gymnastic has DRASTICALLY improved over the last couple of weeks.  I think the first week the coach said his name 700 times, no exaggeration!!  This week I don't think I heard her say it more then 3 times, so that is awesome it means he is following directions and got getting into everything he's not supposed to be touching.

i really like this coach, she is really firm and wants them to do it the right way-Ry so needs that!!  We are on the wait list to get into the Wednesday class, because Fridays are a little difficult.
sorry for the picture quality i'm not sure what is up with my camera-this is Ry's favorite thing-they do stretches and they are all based around making pizza-his favorite thing right up there with chick-fila.  Can you see the concentration on his face? He is rolling out the dough.

the other day we went to lunch with my friend Emma(my kids were turds, sorry Emma-next time I will get a sitter) but across the street was a fire station with the truck parked outside so of course we had to check it out.  Carolines top was a dress from last year which I LOVE and i'm totally digging her skinny jeans!!

this was my first project in months!!!  my friend Jessica gave me this stroller today but the fabric was broken, so in 20 minutes start to finish i whipped up this new seat!  I love the Amy Butler fabric that i had barely any scraps left.  Hopefully Caroline will love it as much as I do.

Ryan was so excited to start preschool!

he told me,"when i get to school mom i will give you a kiss and then i will go to my class."
such a big boy, i think we were both excited and neither of us cried!

he was apprehensive for a moment when he realized there were a bunch of kids in his class, but the teacher was great and asked him where his name was in the class room and he was hooked!
walking down the hall with his new awesome cowboy backpack! which he LOVED!
the day he got it he ran around the house filling it with all his toys saying,"i'm late, i'm late we've got to get to school!"  you think he has heard that a few times??

he's already forgotten about me!!

afterwards mimi and i went to pick him up, and he was so happy and so happy all afternoon.  at lunch he got out of his chair and came over and gave me a big hug and said,"mom, you are the best mom ever! i love you!"  i didn't cry when i dropped him off but that almost made me cry.
i think he had a great day, we can't wait for more!!
