We went camping this week and had a blast! The kids both did so great I was shocked!! I guess when you have so much fun all day it makes it really easy to sleep. We all had a grea time getting to know Auntie Janesse better.

This kid was one big dirt ball from the moment we got there. Oreos helped add to his look. I'm not a huge fan of letting him get dirty, because I like his clothes to stay nice, but camping he had free reign in his white trash clothes.

He sat in the dirt and played and played with his cars, he found every treasure on the campsite with in about 5 minutes including a car left behind by the last camper.

This is Turner Falls, we had a great time swiming around in this wonderful pool!

This is Janesse working while the boys looked on.

Caroline streching in the morning sun!! The Bumbo is the best camping equipment ever!

Climbing trees with Bobo
The PERFECT campfire, ramps was very proud of hims

A hard days work

We have been spending ALOT of time in the car looking for a house to rent, and both kids have been wonderful and mostly happy!! By the third day I really figured out how to keep him happy the entire time-Plenty of food, a drink, and picking out a car at Target in the morning before we started. Those three things equal a totally happy two year old for hours and hours!!
In one of the neighbor hoods Ryan noticed a park and said from the back seat "mommy pease play mom, pease!" Now who could resits saying no to such a sweet request!-even though it was 167 degrees outside!!
Caroline loved swinging in the swing for the first time.
Out of the car finally~~~ Freedom, freedom~~

Toes in the grass for the very first time~~
Soaking up some rays!

LADIES AND HENTELMEN

I found tickets on Travelzoo.com to Ringling and Barnum and Bailey Circus for $7.50 each so I was way excited to take Ryan. He loved almost every minute of it.
He wasn't so sure about taking his picture with one of the carny's. This was during the preshow, while were were on the floor watching an elephant paint this little girl reach over and pulled what little hair Caroline has and made her scream bloody murder. So the was a rough start to our morning, but it turned out great.
Ryan with a ringleader vest on.
Okay so the day before the circus I was telling Ryan about where we weregoing and that there would be animals there and he kept asking if there would be goats, and I would say no there aren't going to be any goats we are going to the circus not the zoo. Well low and behold in the opening act of the circus out come some G.O.A.T.S. He was so excited he turned and looked at me and said "Mom look at that goats!" Well I guess there are goats at the zoo, who knew!!!
I love the elephants they can do all kinds of cool things!!
The row in font of us ordered some cotton candy$12.50~C.R.A.Z.Y. Just a bag of sugar! Thats almost the cost of two tickets!!

Shalene and Jordan got to come with us too!! Jordan did a great job sitting and watching, I think she had a great time.
I love the circus, I took Jared there on a date when we were dating, Ryan seemed to really enjoy seeing all the new things. It was really fun because afterwards he was and still is able to recall things about the zoo on his own. It's fun to know that he is making memories.
These two were so cute riding home, they just sat back there and laughed and held hands the whole time! I would say the day was a great CHEAP success

The other day I showed Ryan a picture of Gramps with a mustache. Yesterday we were driving in the car and I gave Ryan a fruit leather.

Ryan: Mom look,

Mom: What Ryan?(as I look in the rearview mirror)

Ryan: Mom I have a mustache(while holding the fruit under his nose!)

Ryan's words

I need to write these things down because I know over time I will forget. He is really trying to put words together and this means he comes up with the craziest things to say!
In July we went to the pediatrician for both of the kids checkups. When we went to leave I needed to make Caroline's 6 month appointment, but Nurse Tammy went to the potty, so I explained to Ry that we needed to wait for Tammy to get back from the potty.
Last week I was on the phone with Tammy making an appointment for Ryan for a cold that wouldn't go way, I hung up the phone and this is what Ryan said.
Ry: Mom, Tammy go poop!
M:Umm yeah Ry Tammy went potty
The kid is like an elephant he doesn't forget anything!

M: Guess what Ry next week we get to see Bobo(my little brother)
Ry:(His eyes light up) Mom, Bobo?
M: Yes, Bobo
Ry: No mom! NO BOBO'S NO(Bobo's in his little mind are the naughty little monkeys on Go Diego Go)
We will see how shocked he is once he see's Bobo is not a monkey!!
The other day we were driving past the fire department and the firemen were hanging around outside, so I ask if Ry could come in and see the fire truck, they said yes of course! Ry was so excited, they let him sit in the driver seat, turn on the truck, lights and steer away!! Ry was in heaven and wanted the truck to actually move. After our little excursion we had a conversation in the car.
Ry: Mom go see accersent!
M: What Ry?
Ry: Go see accersent!
M: Ry can you say it a different way(a trick my mom taught me, because I totally wasn't understanding)
Ry: Mom! Truck go see accersent!
M: oh you want to go see an accident(I wonder where he got that gene from)
Crazy kid he wanted to see the fire truck in action going to an accident, earlier in the day we saw a firetruck going to an accident, and I had tried to explain to him why we couldn't see the truck.
Last of all, yesterday we were watching Sesame Street and the word of the day was"scrumptious", I didn't think much of it because it's such a big word. We are in the car driving around for like the 128th day in a row looking for a house to rent, and I had just given Ryan some fruit snacks.
Ry:Tank you mommy,(pause) Mommy, yummm, mom tease are Scrumptious!!
M: (Laughing really hard) Did you really just say scrumptious?
Ry: Mom tease are scrumptious!
Seriously this kid is crazy, I'm so glad he has been able to keep me entertained as we drive around for hours!

What a big girl!!! Today during our girl time Caroline got to sit in the high chair for the first time. Every time I have tried to place her in it Ryan has pitched the mother of all fits, so now it was Carolines time. Messy face!
She grabbed the spoon from me and was trying to feed herself!
