busy, busy, busy

Wanted to share some updates to what we have done to the house. In the 6 months we have been here and between mom and I we have painted 7 rooms in the house. Above is our bedroom. Picture is poor quality but it is two shades of grey.

Wes, I, Nick and Kari all headed to Chicago Thursday night. Actually we got into Chicago around 12:30 AM so really Friday morning. We went to a Cubs game Friday afternoon. Which was a lot of fun. We had great seats and the Cubs won!!  Friday night we headed down to the Hawkeye Huttle (which was at Navy Pier) along with the other 30,000 hawk fans.

Saturday morning we got and was going to go on a sailboat ride but it was raining due to the hurricane, bummer!  It was a surprise for Wes and I for our 11th anniversary (that was Saturday).  Instead to headed down to Soldier field and tailgated awhile before the game. The game was pretty touch and go but luckily the hawks pulled off a win for us (and it didn't rain on us)!!  YAY!!  It was a fun weekend in the windy city!!
